They seemed so busy that they didn't even react to Lamia's appearance. Apart from Harry, who made a move to speak, Hermione and Ron were busy writing and drawing on parchment.

Lamia pulled up a stool and waited until the three finally looked up from their parchment.

"Lamia, you're finally back." Hermione folded the parchment in front of her, as if she had just seen Lamia.

"Hermione, what are you writing?" Lamia asked.

"Final assignments, plus review. If I had known, I wouldn't have chosen so many courses. I simply don't have time now. Luckily, Harry borrowed this room from Lupin, otherwise, we wouldn't even be able to enter the library with them." Hermione complained as she handed one of the parchments to Lamia.

"This is yours. I've written it for you, but it's only for this one subject. The other professors haven't assigned papers yet." Hermione stretched, looking very much like Crookshanks.

Lamia took the parchment in confusion, and only then did she realize that it was already the final exam period and she had missed a lot.

"Merlin, how do I write Snape's paper? I don't think I'll be able to write it in my lifetime!" Ron messed up his hair and collapsed on the table.

"Let me see. Regarding the effect of the cutting of narcissus root on the efficacy of the Water of Life and Death... Well, Ron, first of all, your question is wrong. Professor Snape's topic is about the effect of the amount of narcissus root added to the wormwood infusion during the preparation of the Water of Life and Death on its sleeping effect. You've got it completely confused."

Hermione frowned, and it took her a while to make out Ron's handwriting on the parchment.

"I really don't know how! Hermione, can you write one for me too?" Ron begged with a bitter face.

"No, you have to write it yourself. Lamia is a special case. You have everything, so why can't you write it?" Hermione rolled her eyes at Ron, then continued to help Lamia organize the review materials.

"Different treatment, how abominable!" Ron yelled, tore up all the papers he had written, held them in his hands and looked at Lamia, as if he was holding Lamia in his hands, gritting his teeth.

"By the way, Lamia, Professor Lupin has resigned," Hermione said suddenly.

"Where's Sirius?" Lamia asked.

"The Godfather is safe. The Ministry of Magic still doesn't acknowledge what Peter Pettigrew said. Even though we have witnesses, Dumbledore still let Sirius leave first."

Harry put down his quill and said somewhat disappointedly that he had finally met his only relative, but now they had to part again.

Although Harry knew that they had done the almost impossible in helping Sirius gain his freedom, Harry was still in a low mood, especially during this period of time shrouded in the pressure of revision.

"I forgot to tell you, Lamia, Buckbeak, and Hagrid weren't punished." Hermione looked up with admiration. "I wonder which hero it is? I really want to meet him."

Lamia smiled faintly in response. She couldn't tell Hermione, otherwise she would be in trouble if the Ministry of Magic or the Hogwarts school board members found out.

In the next few days, Lamia was dragged by Hermione to start the serious and heavy final review. She even spent all her time in the library except for eating.

Lamia finally managed to hold on until the end of the exam. If it had continued for a few more days, she would have given up.

On the last day of the semester, the exam results were announced.

Lamia passed every subject, thanks to Hermione. Harry and Ron also passed the exams like her. What Lamia didn't expect the most was that Ron actually passed the Potions exam.

She suspected that it was Dumbledore who intervened and did not allow Snape to get along with Ron. If there was a reason, it could only be to compensate for taking away Ron's pet. Of course, because of Lamia, Ron still didn't know where his Scabbers had gone.

And no one told him the truth, not even Harry told Ron.

During the last week, Snape's attitude towards Harry was quite frightening.

Lamia couldn't believe that Snape's annoyance towards him had only grown, but that was the way it was, and she had a vague feeling that it was related to Harry stopping him from killing Peter.

Every time Snape saw Harry, a muscle next to his thin lips twisted unpleasantly, and he kept flexing his fingers, as if he wanted to grab Harry's throat.

Percy passed the highest level NEWT, and Fred and George each managed to scrape together a handful of OWL certificates.

Meanwhile, Gryffindor had won the House Championship for three years running, largely due to their outstanding performance in Quidditch. This meant that the end-of-term banquet was decorated in scarlet and gold, and that the Gryffindor table was particularly busy, while the Slytherin table on the other side was very deserted.

The little snakes were all disdainful, as if Gryffindor had only achieved a tiny success, but Lamia, who was sitting among them, could clearly feel the jealousy hidden in everyone.

On the Hogwarts Express the next day, Lamia was sitting in her own compartment. She was alone there and it was very quiet, but Hermione felt that Lamia was too lonely.

So she brought along the chatterbox Ron and the somewhat lost Harry, who were two completely different extremes.

Harry had been looking out the window. Hogwarts was blocked by a mountain and it was impossible to see it again. He would have to wait two whole months before he could see Hogwarts again. The more he thought about it, the more depressed he became, and he gradually lowered his head.

"Come on, Harry, cheer up!" Hermione said. "You can't be worse off than me. I've never been so crazy as I am this year. The amount of homework is almost overwhelming."

Hermione opened her mouth angrily, but seemed to have not yet finished her words.
