"Success!"

Sirius was also surprised that he saw two third-year students learn the Patronus Charm independently in one day, and one of them was his godson.

"That's it, Harry! Call out your Patronus. Maybe it's a deer like your parents'." Sirius patted Harry on the back, unable to hide the excitement in his words.

Lamia also looked at Harry.

"Really?" Harry smiled shyly. In his heart, he was still looking forward to having his own Patronus. He wanted it to be the same as his parents' and Lamia's. Although he didn't like snakes very much, Lamia's Patronus was a snake, and Harry inexplicably developed a special liking for snakes.

Harry concentrated his energy and silently chanted the Patronus in his mind, trying to summon it, but not everyone was like Lamia - the Patronus had a high degree of autonomous ability, just like Harry, his Patronus did not come out by itself, but he needed to summon it himself.

About 5 minutes later, the silver light curtain in front of Harry gradually condensed into several bright white light spots, and then all the light spots began to converge, slowly forming the outline of some kind of animal.

Time passed little by little, Lamia was almost losing her patience, and Sirius was visibly getting impatient. He couldn't stay here for too long, even though he had already told Dumbledore.

So, under the intense gaze of the two, Harry's Patronus finally jumped out. It was indeed a deer, but it was very special. This deer had a pair of colorful wings. It held its head high, and its indifferent eyes were full of divinity. It was the opposite of Lamia's snake.

"A deer with bat wings? This trip was worth it, Harry. You showed me a wonder I'll never see again in my life."

Sirius said in surprise.

The deer seemed to be awakened by the sound and walked forward, not even paying attention to Harry's shouts, and walked straight towards Lamia.

Lamia took a few steps back, looking at this creature that looked so strange to her.

When the deer saw Lamia retreat, it actually showed a very human expression. It seemed confused, but its IQ was not enough to support it to understand Lamia's behavior.

Just when Lamia was about to find an excuse to leave, they were suddenly surrounded by an extremely cold air, which was getting closer and closer, and even had a tendency to swallow them up completely.

"Harry, look out! Go!"

Sirius was still hanging around, but when he felt the familiar chill, he turned into a black dog and rushed towards Harry like a madman, biting his robe and dragging him away from where he had just stood.

Sirius's action was undoubtedly timely and correct. The next second, Lamia saw a terrifying figure. It was a Soul Eater that was many times larger than the one before. It raised two rotten hands - and put down its turban.

Where eyes should have been, there was only a thin layer of crusted gray skin, draped drably over the empty sockets.

But it had a mouth—a shapeless hole that sucked air with the sound of a death rattle.

Harry was filled with fear, and felt paralyzed, unable to move or speak. He allowed Sirius to drag him far away, and his Patronus, which had just been there, flickered and went out.

The Soul Eater's target disappeared, and then it instantly changed direction, stretching out its cold, skeleton-like hands to grab Lamia. The cold wind it brought made the surrounding leaves whistle, like the wailing of evil spirits.

"Call the gods to protect you!"

Harry finally reacted. He got up from the ground in an instant, waved his wand, muttered something, and rushed towards the Soul Eater.

"Harry, no, don't go!"

Sirius shouted as he transformed into his human form, his tone full of concern for Harry.

The tip of Harry's wand gradually released some white mist, which blocked his vision and slowed down his pace. Harry felt as if his legs were frozen and it was becoming increasingly difficult to move.

Lamia on the other side did not just stand there waiting for Harry. She had already released the Patronus Charm. As she moved, the same Patronus as before appeared from the light curtain, but this time, it was obviously much faster, as if it sensed the breath of danger.

"Hiss--" Lamia's Patronus jumped up from the ground and bit the Soul Eater's outstretched hand, but this Soul Eater was obviously different from the previous one. It was much more powerful.

No matter which direction Lamia's patron saint attacked, he was not able to escape harm from it.

The Soul Eater was breathing heavily, and countless white mists spewed out from the black hole under its nose, carrying a pungent fishy smell. Its turban was still on its head. In the shadows, Lamia could vaguely see the thick black air in the place of its eyes.

Lamia clenched her fists seriously and kept attacking the Soul Eater. Her magic power seemed to be inexhaustible, but even so, the Soul Eater still attacked Lamia at an extremely fast speed.

Lamia quickly moved when the Soul Eater was about to approach her. Now she had no help. Just now, her patronus was grabbed by the Soul Eater and crushed alive. Countless white spots of light flew back into Lamia's body.

Lamia now had no way to defeat the Soul Eater and could only adopt a roundabout tactic, trying to avoid its attacks. She took this opportunity to look at Harry and Sirius behind her. The meaning was very clear, but for some reason, Sirius had been hesitant to take action.

Harry was also pulled back by him. The two seemed to be determined to watch Lamia fight alone and had no intention of helping.

Lamia chuckled to herself and no longer took the Soul Eater away from Harry and the others. She led the more powerful Soul Eater directly in front of Sirius, forcing him to take action, otherwise they would die together.

Lamia dodged and jumped into the bushes behind her, then transformed herself, and then a very fast bat flew out of the bushes.
