"Please come in."

After hearing the sound, Lamia slowly pushed open the door of the headmaster's office. Dumbledore was sitting comfortably by the window. The warm sunlight made even his beard look lazy.

"Oh, it's Lamia. What can I do for you?" Dumbledore smiled kindly, stood up from the recliner, crossed his hands on his chest, as if he knew everything, but what he said was a question.

"Mr. Headmaster, Professor Snape didn't tell you, right? Do you need me to bring him over and explain it again?" Lamia stood in front of Dumbledore with a fake smile on her face, and after she finished speaking, she really planned to walk out the door.

"No need, child, I was just trying to liven up the atmosphere. You, um, don't look well." Dumbledore scratched his chin awkwardly, as if thinking about what to say next.

But Lamia didn't stop.

"Oh, child, I know everything Severus said. You don't need to call him over again." Dumbledore was really afraid that Lamia would leave, so he said hurriedly.

But Lamia simply walked over to his desk and poured herself and Dumbledore a cup of tea from the enchanted kettle that kept brewing.

"Sir, please forgive me, I haven't had a drop of water since I started."

Dumbledore was even more embarrassed. In the past, Lamia refused to drink anything when she came to his place. This was the first time that he did not ask her to drink, and she ended up embarrassing him. She really was a vengeful person.

"Well, I have something else. Tell me if you need anything else." Dumbledore coughed lightly and quickly changed the subject. "I know everything that happened in the Divination classroom. I think the same as Severus. You are not the murderer and you don't need to be held responsible for this."

"Yes, sir, you really have a pair of discerning eyes." Lamia's seemingly compliment, but in fact, Dumbledore understood what she said. He stood up embarrassedly, walked to the front of the table, and poured another cup of tea for Lamia.

"Child, I asked Severus to call you here. Although this matter has nothing to do with you, I heard that Trelawney made a prophecy about you--" Dumbledore handed the tea to Lamia, but the latter just shook her head.

"- If it is convenient, could you tell me? If you really can't say it, you can relax your mind and don't resist me." Dumbledore's wise eyes seemed to have magic, attracting Lamia's gaze to go deeper and finally fall into it.

Then, Lamia felt something being pushed out of her brain, and then she saw Dumbledore with a pale face, looking like he had suffered internal injuries.

"Sir, are you okay?" Lamia knew it well.

"Well, I'm fine—" Dumbledore wiped the sweat from his head as if inadvertently, "—have you ever practiced Occlumency?"

"What?" The roaring sound in Lamia's ears never stopped. Once she stopped concentrating, it was easy for her to not hear anything.

"It's okay, kid. You won't be punished. Go back without worry."

But it was this initial confusion that temporarily dispelled Dumbledore's suspicions. He simply thought that Lamia's soul was too tough and her ability to protect herself was very strong.

"Okay, sir." Lamia nodded. She couldn't wait to go back. She had to go to the medical wing again. Her head started to hurt so badly again that she couldn't bear it anymore.

Just as Lamia reached the door, Dumbledore suddenly called out to her.

"Wait a minute, kid, Fox seems..."

As soon as Lamia turned around, she saw the fiery red Fox flying towards her. As soon as it landed on Lamia's shoulder, it began to cry into her ear. Big phoenix tears fell into Lamia's ears, gradually seeping into her brain, and then spreading bit by bit.

Lamia felt a sense of relief she had never felt before, as if a window in a house that had been closed for ten years had suddenly been opened. She felt indescribably comfortable.

She closed her eyes, enjoying the freshness in her head.

After a long time, Lamia opened her eyes. Her head didn't hurt at all, and her brain was even clearer than before.

"Thank you, Fox." Lamia rarely expressed her gratitude sincerely. The headache had almost driven her crazy, and now she had finally recovered, so of course her feelings were sincere.

But Fox didn't make any other moves and flew back to his nest very indifferently.

……

After leaving the principal's office, Lamia returned to her dormitory. She took out a thin piece of paper from the drawer and wrote down every word of the prophecy in her memory. Then, she folded the paper and put it under the book.

Lamia could see through Dumbledore the importance of the prophecy, whether it benefited her or not, it was important and should be preserved.

The next day, Lamia came to Hagrid's hut as requested. Some students had already gathered there. They were all very excited, but the moment they saw Lamia, some bad voices came out.

But Lamia acted as if she didn't hear anything. All she said was that she bullied Professor Trelawney and that the forces behind her were very powerful. The example she gave was, of course, that even Dumbledore couldn't fire someone who bullied a professor.

For Lamia, a single fly can be found and swatted to death, but if there are a large number of them, she will choose to stay away from the place and consider whether something has gone bad. It is best to dispose of the spoiled items quickly.

Lamia was alone, surrounded by groups of students who seemed to think that isolating a classmate would reflect their sense of justice.

But not long after, a classmate came up to Lamia's side. Without a doubt, it was Hermione. Her arrival did not alleviate the situation much - the number of isolated people increased to two, but fortunately, neither of them cared about it.

"I think everyone is here. Never mind. Don't worry. Wait another five minutes." Hagrid walked out of the house. His messy beard was exactly the same as when Lamia first saw him, even the length hadn't changed much.

"Why don't we stop waiting and start? Everyone come over here and stand by the fence." Hagrid seemed to be teaching his first class. He looked nervous and his thick fingers kept grabbing the corners of his clothes. He looked very nervous. He was clearly asking the students a question, but he didn't give them a chance to answer.

He turned and walked back into the woods, and soon returned to the enclosure with 12 of the strange creatures.

They had the bodies, hind legs, and tails of horses, but their front legs, wings, and heads looked like those of eagles. They had sharp steel-colored beaks and large, bright orange eyes. The claws on their front legs were half a foot long and looked deadly. Around the neck of each beast was a thick feather collar, from which was attached a long chain, which ended in Hagrid's huge hand.

He shook the chain, yelled at the guys to come to the fence where the class was standing, and tied them to the fence.
