After the two left, the room finally returned to silence again. This time, Lamia really wanted to leave, "Gentlemen, I'll be leaving first." After Lamia greeted every professor, she just walked out of the principal's office and bumped into Lucius who was rushing over and Dobby who was following behind him. He was still wearing a tattered pillowcase.

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy." Lamia immediately stepped aside to make room for him out of politeness, and greeted him with a smile.

"Hello, Miss Nocturne." Lucius forced a smile on his face, but it was ugly.

Then he stormed into the Headmaster's office, completely ignoring the professors standing inside. Dobby followed him in panic, hunched over, staring at the seam on the back of his master's robes, a look of desperate fear on his face.

Of course Lamia didn't leave. She stood behind the door and watched everything that happened inside.

"Good!" Lucius Malfoy stared at Dumbledore with cold eyes and said, "You are back. The board of directors suspended you, but you still took the initiative to return to Hogwarts."

"Yes, Lucius," Dumbledore looked at Lucius with a distorted face with complete calmness, "I have received many letters from parents of students. They need me to take charge of the situation in Hogwarts. They seem to think that I am the most suitable person for this job." Dumbledore took out every letter from the drawer under the table and placed them on the table.

"Also, there is one more thing. Some parents told me that you once threatened to curse their families if they did not agree to suspend my duties." Dumbledore's tone was obviously very kind, but Lamia saw Lucius tremble, but he still stared with his eyes wide open in defiance.

"So—did you prevent the attacks?" he asked sarcastically. "Did you catch the perpetrators?"

"We caught him," Dumbledore replied with a smile.

"Oh?" snapped Mr. Malfoy. "Who is he?"

"It's the same man as before, Lucius," said Dumbledore, "but this time Voldemort is acting through another person—through his diary."

He held up the small black notebook with a large hole in the middle and watched Lucius's reaction closely.

But Lamia looked at Dobby who was curled up behind him. He looked extremely scared. His two big eyes as big as light bulbs stared at Harry meaningfully. He kept pointing at the diary, then at Lucius, and then hit his head hard with his fist.

"So that's how it is..." Lucius said slowly to Dumbledore.

"A not-so-clever plan," Dumbledore said evenly, still looking Lucius in the eye. "If I were him, I would have placed the diary with the Weasley child. After all, Arthur's Muggle Protection Act is about to be enacted."

Lucius was obviously uncomfortable. He coughed dryly and deliberately avoided Dumbledore's scrutinizing eyes.

"That's obviously not true. I heard that the person being controlled is from Parkinson's family."

Lucius thought for a long time and finally found a way to fight back.

"But I can only say that it's a blessing." Lucius' face was as pale as if he was wearing a mask, and he forced himself to speak.

"Of course, Lucius. However, I must remind you that there is no impenetrable wall in the world. Please stop distributing things from Voldemort's school days. After all, everyone has eyes, and they might see you at any time."

Lamia closely watched Lucius's every move. His grip on the scepter tightened noticeably, but he tried his best to hold it back. "Dobby, let's go!"

Lucius flicked his sleeves and Dobby was thrown to the ground, but he pretended not to see it, tucked Dobby under his arm and opened the door.

Harry seemed to have finally reacted, picked up the diary on Dumbledore's desk and left, completely disregarding Dumbledore's opinion, but the diary fell as soon as he picked it up.

Harry could only look at Lamia for help. Lamia sighed, resignedly picked up the diary and followed Harry.

"Mr. Malfoy, please wait a moment." Harry ran quickly and stopped the angry Lucius.
