Chapter 103: Discovering the Secret Room (1)

At the corner, Harry and Lamia's bodies twitched and returned to their original appearance. After Harry turned back, he found that he could not see anything clearly.

"It's over, I left my glasses at Malfoy's place." Harry held his head in his hands with a look of despair, he didn't want to go back.

"It's not over yet. Look what this is." Lamia took out the glasses from his pocket like a magic trick.

"Wow, when did you put that in!" After Harry put on his glasses, he finally saw Lamia in front of him clearly.

"That's not important." Lamia turned around first. "Let's go to the women's restroom and check. Maybe we can find something."

Harry said "oh" and hurried to follow. Twenty minutes later, they were standing at the bathroom door.

"How about you go in first?" Harry looked at Lamia a little embarrassedly.

"It's okay, Myrtle is inside. Few people come here." Lamia pulled Harry in. Sure enough, there was no one inside. There was only the sound of dripping water, and even the lights on the wall were not very bright.

When Lamia arrived at the door, she found that this place was exactly the same as the one she had been to in her dream, except that it was a little shabby. According to her memory, she quickly found the sink where Tom opened the secret room, but she couldn't tell Harry directly, so she had to let him find it himself.

"Harry, do you think there is anything strange here?" Lamia stood next to the sink and led Harry to look at her.

"You can't tell. I just think it's quite cold here." Harry pulled his clothes tighter.

"It's not that it's cold here, there's something behind you." Lamia casually pointed at the myrtle floating behind Harry. Harry looked back in the direction of her finger and bumped into a pale and cold face. He was instantly scared and screamed.

"Hahahahahaha!" Myrtle's prank succeeded and she flew around the bathroom happily. "You annoying boy!" She shouted at Harry, her voice so shrill and sharp that it seemed to burst his eardrums.

"Excuse me, Myrtle, we are disturbing you," said Lamia.

"You are quite sensible, unlike this guy who has no manners at all when he is in someone else's place!" There was a hint of contempt on Myrtle's transparent face.

Harry sheepishly stepped out from behind the wall. "I'm sorry, I was just scared."

"It's okay, Harry, come and look here, I think it's weird." Lamia almost put the sink in Harry's eyes, but even so, he didn't notice it and was only focused on the leaking wall next to him.

"Hehe, I haven't seen you yet." Myrtle laughed, flew to Lamia's side, and passed through her body. "Strange, how come you are colder than me? How strange!"

Lamia raised her eyebrows but said nothing. She was still struggling with how to tell Harry about the sink, but now it seemed like there was a solution.

"Myrtle, may I ask how you died?" Lamia was a little polite but obviously not much, and when Myrtle heard her question, sadness began to spread over her. But perhaps because she hadn't spoken to anyone for a long time, Myrtle did not feel offended, but began to tell her own story.

"At that time, I was sitting on this toilet crying, and suddenly I heard the voices of boys outside. I thought it was those annoying boys, so I rushed out to tell them to go away, but as soon as I went out, I saw huge yellow eyes, and then I died." Myrtle said and burst into tears.

"It's all their fault. I'm so pitiful..." She cried and dived into the toilet, splashing water onto Harry who came over to listen to her.

Later, no matter how Lamia shouted, Myrtle refused to come out again, and only intermittent crying sounds came from the toilet.

"Lamia, I get it. Myrtle must have seen the basilisk's eyes, which is why she died instantly!" Harry's IQ suddenly shot up. "And the direction she could have seen directly upon exiting—ah, it's here!" Harry pointed at the sink. "The basilisk must have been right here."

Lamia could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Her efforts were not in vain. Harry finally saw the sink that he had ignored.

"Will you try it, Harry, with your Parseltongue?" said Lamia.

Harry nodded, walked to the sink and began speaking in that obscure language.

As he spoke, a bottomless passage appeared out of thin air under the sink, exactly the same as the one in Lamia's dream.

"What now? Should we go in?" Harry was a little unsure. He was not sure what was down there, and even more unsure whether he wanted to walk in without any preparation.
