The fake daughter was not exposed today
Chapter 41 Fulan's First Encounter
The banquet hall was brightly lit. Jiang Yiran stood in the center of the crowd, her long red dress draped down like cinnabar spreading in the water.
Qin Manxiao shook the light champagne in her hand, feeling cheerful. "Without that woman in the way, the atmosphere feels a lot more relaxed, right?"
"Yes." Sheng Zhou was in a good mood. "My sister's condition has improved a lot. Maybe her luck has changed since she got rid of the villain."
Upstairs, in a dark room.
Jiang Yilan sat in the dark. She wanted to touch the harmonica, trying to make some sound to attract attention, but found that it had fallen at some point.
There was only a violin at hand.
She gently touched the body of the piano, and her left hand suddenly retracted as if it had been electrocuted.
Unconsciously, she recalled the day when the mentally ill man slashed his left hand near the school. After that, she tried to play the piano, but her fingers were no longer as flexible as before.
"No... No..." She curled up into a ball.
After a long pause, she reached out again, wanting to pick up the bow, but another voice sounded in her mind.
"If you hadn't taken away her honor, how could she have died with regrets? Isn't it wrong for you to make a mistake unconsciously?"
She sat quietly, feeling water entering her chest and pressing down on her whole body.
Although she may have hurt others unconsciously, can a simple "I didn't mean it" really cover up everything?
Her mind was in a mess, but she finally fumbled to set up the piano and started playing.
She was playing a very simple etude, the first piece her parents had taught her. It was the simplest melody, but she felt like there was some noise around her that was interfering with her performance.
"You killed her, why don't you even remember her name!"
Bursts of noise rang in her mind, and she had to stop playing and stare at the direction of her left hand.
Her hands stopped, but the noise didn't stop, instead it grew louder. She plucked the strings, trying to drown it out.
But it seemed to be of no avail, just as if her struggle now seemed to be of no use.
Headache, a headache that won’t stop.
The violin fell to the ground, and she held her head, trying to cover up the noise around her with her own voice.
Something kept ringing inside her body, just like what she felt on the day her parents died.
hall.
Jiang Fu changed his clothes and walked in.
At that moment, everyone stared at her with strange eyes, even Jiang Yiran had a stunned expression on his face for a few seconds.
Jiang Fu immediately sensed something was wrong, but still walked forward with a smile, "Sorry, something happened and I'm late."
"You..." Jiang Yiran was full of suspicion.
She had just locked someone up, and now he appeared safe and sound. There was obviously something wrong.
"Why, I can't come?" Jiang Fu sensed guilt.
Something must have happened when she went to the greenhouse courtyard that shocked Jiang Yiran so much. She must have done something that prevented Jiang Yilan from appearing at the scene.
In other words, when she was away, the real Jiang Yilan appeared here and was bullied.
She narrowed her eyes, her voice filled with anger, "Or, according to your assumptions, where should I be?"
Jiang Yiran didn't answer, but said coldly, "If you know you're an eyesore, you should find a place to stay."
Avoiding the problem means there is really a problem.
"Since I'm the one who's getting in your way, why should I listen to you? Also, you're saying I hurt your friend and must atone for it, but what about you? What did you do just now that you're afraid to say?"
"you--"
Without giving her a chance to retort, Jiang Fu raised his hand and slapped her hard.
She had had enough of this crazy woman.
"Jiang Yiran, you said there will be a price to pay for doing wrong. This is my reward for your interest first." After saying that, she turned and left.
Now she must first find Jiang Yilan and ensure her safety. As for this crazy woman, she will deal with her slowly after she comes back.
Qin Manxiao was about to step forward and accuse her of something, but when she saw the girl's gloomy face, she silently retracted her foot and let her leave.
Jiang Yiran raised his head quietly, staring at the departing figure with a grim expression, feeling a tightness in his chest.
Even after taking a deep breath, she still felt out of breath and threw the champagne glass in her hand to the ground.
"Clean up this garbage."
Jiang Fu left the hall and began to concentrate on searching around.
She recalled the soft voice she had heard in the small room on the second floor that afternoon, and suddenly realized that the owner of that voice was Jiang Yilan. Given the fragile emotions she felt, if Jiang Yilan were locked up again, she might really collapse...
Zixu returned to the banquet hall and did not see the girl waiting for her.
"What are you looking for?" A familiar-looking boy walked over with a familiar harmonica in his hand.
Her reverse scale was touched, and her eyes suddenly changed, "What did you do to her?"
"I just found something familiar on the second floor. Don't worry, the thing he 'gave' you is not broken." He handed over the harmonica.
"You haven't seen her?"
"No, but I just heard someone say that for the sake of the atmosphere of Miss Jiang Yiran's birthday party, the person you are looking for seems to have been locked up." Shan Zhe looked into her eyes calmly, "It's possible that you will never see her again, just like..."
He mouthed a name that was familiar to both of them.
"Thank you for the news, kid." Zixu put away the harmonica and walked around him.
Shanzhe turned his eyes away and curled his lips.
Very good, there will be a good show tonight.
In the room, Jiang Yilan felt like she was hallucinating.
Just like the day her parents died, the only sounds in the room were noises. She poked her head out of her parents' arms and saw only frost everywhere.
The only door that allowed her to leave was frozen shut. In the dim room, she could only feel her body temperature steadily draining away.
There was a noise outside the door, and she leaned over to see only the broken door panel.
In the smashed-open doorway, she saw a silhouette against the light. It seemed to be a little girl about her age.
She seemed to be hallucinating. Somehow, the little girl's face had grown a lot bigger.
"Jiang Yilan! Are you okay?"
Before her consciousness fell into darkness, she saw the worried look on the other person's face.
Jiang Fu checked carefully and found nothing abnormal, so he breathed a sigh of relief.
Hearing footsteps at the door, she put the person on the chair and jumped out of the window.
When Zixu entered the room, she saw the little girl she had been thinking about sitting on a chair, seemingly asleep.
She looked for it and found that the light wouldn't turn on and the circuit was broken.
In the dim light that streamed into the room, she saw an almost unbelievable scene.
With the girl as the center, ripples spread out on the floor and walls of the entire room.
It's like a masterpiece that a master designer accidentally discovered.
