More and more zombies heard Harris's wailing and surrounded the two of them.

The zombies also noticed Chase standing nearby, and they turned and tried to attack Chase.

In order to escape, Chase had no choice but to abandon Harris who had been bitten.

Chased by zombies, Chase manages to break the lock on the cold storage door and successfully enters the building.

In his panic, he didn't close the door, and the zombies followed him into the building.

Chase entered a storage unit and attempted to lower the gate.

But some zombies had already caught up, and they lay down and tried to squeeze through the gate.

The gate could not be closed because the zombies' limbs blocked it.

For a while, Chase could only engage in a tug-of-war with this group of zombies.

At this critical moment, a man outside the gate opened fire in the corridor.

He killed the zombies that tried to threaten Chase's life.

This person is BJ, the manager of this cold storage.

He eventually succeeds in killing all the zombies chasing Chase.

BJ warns Chase, asking him to get out of the locker and reveal himself.

Chase obeyed BJ's request and lay on the ground to show BJ that he was not carrying any weapons.

BJ was relieved when he saw that Chase didn't have any hot weapons in his hands.

BJ is a very vigilant person. He tries to kill Chase to prevent him from escaping and exposing this place.

Chase offers to help BJ start the generator in exchange for a truck.

Chase is going to use this van to find his family.

BJ finally agreed to Chase's request.

On the way to BJ's office, Chase was directed to look into a storage unit owned by a police officer.

The policeman was Rick Grimes.

Chase found a photo of Rick's family and gave them a mysterious smile.

He then grabbed a new shirt and headed to the office.

After Chase entered BJ's office, BJ ordered Chase to go upstairs and turn on the power.

As Chase went upstairs, a zombie was lingering behind him, and Chase killed it.

Chase returns to BJ, who tells him the identity of the zombies.

Its name is Lenny, a former colleague of BJ. He was locked up there just to avenge his past.

Later, Chase starts the generator and goes out with BJ, but Chase is betrayed and shot by BJ.

Because Chase expressed a strong desire to find his sister, he will leave the cold storage immediately after getting the truck keys.

This is what BJ doesn't want to see. Letting Chase leave here will increase the risk of others knowing about this place.

There are a lot of supplies here, and he lives a comfortable life. BJ doesn't want to gamble this coveted cold storage on Chase not to tell others.

At the same time, BJ didn't want to pay the price of a truck.

Fortunately, after a while, Chase woke up in a pile of zombie corpses.

Chase found that he was only scratched and he was lucky to survive!

Chase moved slowly around the facility.

As he walks towards a door to enter the facility, he encounters his fellow soldier, Harris, who has been transformed into a zombie.

Chase smashed Harris's head with a cement block and took his machete.

The zombies nearby began to move towards Chase, and Chase used a knife to cut the lock of the back door.

When Chase entered the facility, he unexpectedly saw BJ coming out of the top floor room, which was the room where Zhou Nan was currently.

BJ first pulled up his pants and then buttoned his shirt. Something wonderful seemed to be happening inside him.

Chase instinctively felt that there was a secret in that room!

So, Chase picked up a rifle from his office and went to investigate the top-floor room.

There, Chase entered a room filled with furniture.

Inside, there is a woman named Kelly who is illegally detained by BJ.

She is the woman in front of Zhou Nan.

Kelly screamed at Chase, begging him not to hurt her.

After Chase assured her that he was a good man and gained Kelly's trust.

The two began to think of ways to escape from the cold storage.

After going downstairs, BJ caught up with Chase and Kelly as they were about to leave and threatened to kill Chase in order to keep Kelly.

Kelly reveals that BJ killed his workers and others, and the three argue back and forth.

BJ pushed Kelly back, positioning her behind him.

The reason for doing this is that BJ naively believes that Kelly has been successfully tamed by him and she wants to be with him.

Kelly thought of all the abuse she had suffered, so she beheaded BJ with Harris's knife behind his back.

At the end of the story, Chase and Kelly take the van keys and head to a van that is low on gas.

After trying to drain the fuel tanks of other trucks, they discovered all were out of fuel.

In other words, the truck they had still had some gas left.

They saw various supplies inside other trucks and discovered various foods in the cold storage.

But because all the trucks were out of gasoline, they had no choice but to give up these supplies.

The cold storage was flooded with zombies and was no longer suitable for them to survive, so the two drove away.

Chase and Kelly's fate is unknown, but they plan to travel to Savannah, Georgia, to meet Chase's family.

Then headed to a so-called safe zone in Washington, DC.

It’s worth mentioning that the truck they drove away eventually fell into the hands of Rick and Glenn.

That was the truck that Rick and Glenn covered with zombie flesh, walked through the zombie horde in the rain, climbed over the iron fence, and drove away.

The owners of the truck, Chase and Kelly, had long since disappeared.

Maybe they changed to another car, or maybe they encountered an accident while looking for supplies.

In short, they never came back.
