The He family's rebellion was a matter of grave importance, and General He and the leader of the He family's personal army were escorted to the court. The atmosphere in the court was so oppressive it seemed as if water could drip out. A tense atmosphere permeated every inch of the air, and everyone held their breath, not daring to make a sound.

The He family's personal guard knelt on the ground, their bodies trembling uncontrollably. Their voices were filled with fear and anxiety as they spoke, "Your Majesty, I saw a group of people hurrying out of the palace the other day, clutching packages tightly in their hands. I quickly revealed my identity and went to investigate. Unexpectedly, upon hearing my question, they didn't even turn back, but immediately ran back to the palace in a panic. I tried to chase them, but they stopped me outside. Then, I caught a glimpse of the bloody bag, and impulsively, I made a terrible mistake."

Upon hearing this, Imperial Concubine Su frowned slightly, her eyes filled with doubt as she asked, "How can you expect me to believe you? Without any evidence, how can I believe you?"

Just as the guards were about to explain, the queen suddenly stood up, her hair standing on end in anger, and shouted, "Asshole! This is nonsense! How can you enter and leave the palace as you please? What are you thinking of when you talk nonsense like this?"

The emperor's deep eyes scanned everyone like a hawk, finally stopping at his personal guards. He said coldly, "What else do you have to say? If you tell even a single lie, I will not forgive you!"

The guards were like frightened birds, and they quickly replied, "Every word I say is true. If there is even a single lie, I will be punished by military law. Even if it means being cut into pieces, I will not complain!"

Concubine Su followed up with a serious and focused expression, "What did that person carry? Have you found out? This matter is of great importance and there is no room for ambiguity."

The guards looked anxious, beads of sweat dripping down their foreheads. "As soon as I said it was the He family, they retreated in panic. I was stopped outside the door. I saw the man holding the package angrily say, 'This is what happens when you offend Concubine Su!'"

Concubine Su's eyes were sharp, as if she could see through everything: "Do you have any witnesses or physical evidence? Empty words are hard to convince people."

The Queen shouted angrily, "That's pure nonsense, Concubine Su. What do you think? I think he's just making up lies and trying to disrupt the government!"

Imperial Concubine Su looked solemn as she slowly said, "This incident is serious. I believe we should be extremely cautious and not jump to conclusions hastily, lest we wrongly accuse the good guys and let the bad guys off."

General He could no longer contain himself and hurriedly knelt and shouted, "Your Majesty, someone must be instigating this. I swear to heaven that I have no intention of rebelling! If I have such intentions, I will be punished by heaven!"

The ministers began to whisper to each other.

The emperor slammed the dragon table and shouted angrily, "Where is the evidence? If there is no real evidence, don't mention this matter anymore!"

The imperial guards prostrated themselves on the ground, their bodies trembling like sieves, and nervously said, "Yes, yes, yes, the palace guards can all testify to this."

"How dare you! You killed all the guards. How can you prove it?" The queen stood up angrily, her face flushed, as if she didn't want to mention the panic she felt that day.

The imperial guards kowtowed repeatedly, their foreheads bleeding. "I dare not! Initially, I only seized the weapons of the palace guards and never harmed them! Your Majesty, please understand!"

"Your Majesty, this fellow intends to rebel and makes false statements. If he is not severely punished, it will be an insult to our royal dignity!" The uncle of the king could not bear to watch it any longer and hurriedly stepped out.

General He raised his head, his eyes determined, and said loudly, "Wait a minute, I have a way to prove it! I have always been strict in my military discipline. The close combat weapons of our He family's personal army are our exclusive Frost Moon Scimitars. Can you ask the coroner to examine the wound and prove it?"

There was silence in the court, and everyone was waiting for the emperor's decision, as if even the air had frozen.

The coroner examined the injuries sustained by the palace gate guards and confirmed that they were not caused by weapons wielded by the He family's personal troops. The court erupted in an uproar. The emperor, with a gloomy face, scanned the courtiers with a stern gaze that seemed to see through the soul.

The Queen was furious, and even her delicate makeup couldn't hide her anger: "What does this prove? Does it mean that the He family is innocent? There may be a bigger conspiracy!"

Concubine Su questioned the coroner, her eyes piercing: "Is there anything else you need to add? If you conceal anything, do you know the consequences?"

The coroner trembled and cried, "I dare not speak!"

The emperor said sternly, "I am here, so feel free to speak! I want to see what is behind this!"

The coroner trembled with fear, as if he had used up all his strength and said, "I found a palace guard holding a badge tightly in his hand." After that, he presented the badge to the emperor with trembling hands.

The emperor took one look, threw it to the ground in anger, and shouted, "What explanation do you have? Where did this waist badge come from?"

The uncle stepped out, looking flustered. He glared at the coroner with eyes filled with resentment, "You..." Then he turned to the emperor and said hurriedly, "Your Majesty, this is a false accusation! I am loyal to Your Majesty and have no second thoughts!"

Concubine Su looked at the coroner, her eyes sharp as a sword: "Can you confirm the origin of this waist badge? This matter is of great importance and there must be no mistakes!"

The coroner's voice trembled like a leaf in the wind. "The deceased was holding the badge tightly. He must have been caught off guard and had it ripped off during the assassination."

The Emperor shouted angrily, "Send the commander of the Imperial Guards on duty!"

Not long after, the on-duty leader of the Imperial Guard hurried up to the palace, knelt, and replied, "Aside from one eunuch who appeared to have fled in a hurry, I saw nothing unusual. I didn't think much of it at the time, simply assuming it was due to fear from the conflict."

At this moment, someone suddenly came from outside the palace to report: "A body was found in the back garden of Kunning Palace!"

There was an uproar in the court, with exclamations from the crowd rising one after another. The emperor's face became even gloomier, like the sky before a storm.

The queen was so shocked that she could hardly stand, her voice trembling: "How, how is this possible!"

Concubine Su looked at the Empress with a gentle gaze: "Your Majesty, I'm afraid this matter is not that simple. There must be something fishy going on. I hope Your Majesty will investigate thoroughly."

The uncle was so anxious that he was sweating. His voice was trembling as he stammered, "Your Majesty, this must be a deliberate frame-up! Please investigate!"

The Queen looked at the coroner and snorted coldly, her tone so cold that it made people shudder: "How dare you speak nonsense in front of His Majesty! Watch out for your head!"

The coroner rushed to examine the body. After a while, he reported back, his voice filled with fear: "Your Majesty, this man was a servant of the Emperor's uncle. The cause of death was poisoning."

Imperial Concubine Su frowned and said, "Poisoned? How could such a method be possible in this palace? This matter is becoming increasingly confusing."

The Queen shouted, "I didn't know. Someone must be trying to slander me! I've been wrongly accused!"

The emperor glared at her, his eyes burning with rage. "Investigate this for me! Get to the bottom of this! I want to see who's behind this!"

After a thorough investigation, the truth finally emerged. While General He had no intention of rebellion, he had secretly brought his guards into the palace, a serious crime. The Emperor, mindful of his past achievements, stripped him of his military power and imprisoned him, pending further action. He's personal guards, responsible for causing chaos at the palace, deserved severe punishment, but, in recognition of their exemplary loyalty, they were exiled to the border to defend against the enemy and forbidden from returning to the capital. The Emperor's uncle, implicated in the Empress's conspiracy, was condemned, and his title was stripped, demoted to a commoner. The Empress's misconduct, her intent to frame loyal officials and disrupt the palace, angered the Emperor, who confined him to Canxin Palace and ordered him to reflect on his mistakes.

Concubine Su proved exceptionally intelligent and perceptive during this turmoil, helping the Emperor uncover the truth. The Emperor, delighted, gifted her a new palace, named "Hui Xin Palace," a nod to her wisdom. This, perhaps, finally brought the palace turmoil to a close.
