The capital, that towering ancient city, caressed by the morning light, resembled a giant awakening from a deep sleep. Its streets and alleys gradually came to life, and the crowds surged and bustled like the endless flow of a river, creating a scene of prosperity and peace. Sunlight, like fragments of gold, shone brightly across the bluestone pavements, yet it could hardly penetrate the thick haze cloaked in the prosperity.

The streets and alleys are bustling with people, shoulder to shoulder. Shop signs rustle in the breeze, as if telling stories of the past. The constant shouting and haggling intertwine into a noisy yet lively melody. However, beneath this seemingly bustling surface, new challenges loom unseen.

The narrow streets resembled a river overwhelmed by its weight, with vehicles and pedestrians crammed together, struggling to move forward. Horse-drawn and ox-drawn carts, like fish trapped in shallow waters, were stuck, the cacophony of wheels scraping against the ground, the anxious shouts and honking of drivers' horns, blending into a chaotic din that was disconcerting. A merchant, dressed in brocade robes, sat in the stuffy carriage, his brow furrowed, his clothes soaked with sweat. He gazed at the seemingly endless traffic jam ahead and sighed helplessly, "The daily traffic jams are truly infuriating!" His eyes were filled with fatigue and resentment.

In a corner of the street, several small vendors argued fiercely over a piece of land. Their vulgar shouts shattered the stillness of the air, drawing the attention of passersby. Not far away, in a dark alley, sewage overflowed, garbage piled high, and the stench was nauseating. Passersby covered their mouths and noses, quickening their pace as if pursued by an evil spirit.

Worse still, lawless individuals took advantage of the chaos and acted recklessly under the cover of darkness. As the night fell quietly like a piece of black silk and the lights came on, what should have been a warm and beautiful moment was instead shrouded in the shadow of crime. Cases of theft and robbery occurred frequently, leaving the people in panic and unable to sleep. A white-haired old man, on his way home, was robbed of his only money. He collapsed to the ground, tears streaming down his face, his voice trembling as he sobbed, "The world is in such chaos that I can't even find peace when I go out!"

Upon hearing of this chaotic situation, Concubine Su was distraught and determined to take drastic measures to restore peace to the capital. Traveling light and with a small entourage, she quietly moved through the streets and alleys of the capital, her graceful figure standing out from the crowd. Her sharp eyes discerned every problem.

Upon returning to the palace, Concubine Su immediately summoned her ministers to discuss governance strategies. She ordered the extensive widening of roads and the meticulous planning of transportation routes. Suddenly, dust billowed through the capital as workers busied themselves like ants, demolishing illegal structures, laying stone slabs, and installing signage. Everything proceeded with unwavering efficiency. She also advocated for increased investment in public security, deploying numerous brave police patrols. Those armored soldiers, marching in unison and with unwavering gazes, guarded every corner of the capital like guardian angels, leaving no place for lawbreakers to hide.

Thanks to Concubine Su's tireless efforts, the capital finally regained its former glory. The roads were wide and smooth, and vehicles and pedestrians moved in an orderly manner, each moving in its own lane. The streets and alleys were lined with green trees and blossoming flowers, and the air was filled with the fresh fragrance of flowers. The faces of the people were filled with joy, and they praised Concubine Su's achievements. A woman strolled the streets holding her child's hand, her eyes filled with joy and gratitude: "Thanks to Concubine Su's meticulous governance, we can enjoy peace and happiness again. The capital is now truly a paradise on earth!"

Concubine Su's governance not only resolved immediate challenges but also demonstrated her far-sighted wisdom and courage. Like a beacon, she illuminated the capital's path toward a harmonious homeland, causing it to shine even brighter over the years.
