The morning sun filtered through the treetops, illuminating Yunxuan and Yaoyue. Its warmth momentarily made them forget the battle they had just fought. But as a gentle breeze blew, a tense atmosphere thickened in the air. The two stood in a mysterious fog, the path ahead obscured by a thick haze, making it impossible to see where to go.

"Is this the location marked on the star map?" Yao Yue frowned slightly, feeling a strange force flowing faintly in the air.

"It should be." Yun Xuan carefully observed his surroundings, a glint of adventure in his eyes. "This fog gives me an uneasy feeling, but we can't retreat."

The fog ahead gradually dissipated, revealing an empty square. In the center stood an ancient altar, engraved with mysterious runes and emitting a faint glow. As the two approached, they felt a powerful energy emanating from the altar, a force that drew them in.

Suddenly, a violent storm blew from the direction of the altar, the wind roaring like a wild beast. Yunxuan and Yaoyue had to withstand the wind pressure and slide backwards.

At the center of the storm, a figure gradually emerged, whispering and appearing like a ghost. He was dressed in a black robe, his face hidden in the shadows, revealing only a pair of deep and cold eyes that exuded endless majesty.

"You broke in here and disturbed my sleep." The man in black robe said in a low voice, his voice was like an echo from ancient times, making people feel uneasy.

"We are only here to seek the power of the Ultimate Taste." Yun Xuan was not afraid and took a step forward. "Please let us pass."

"The power of the Ultimate Taste is not something you can easily obtain." The black-robed man smiled slightly, a strange light flashing in his eyes. "If you want to obtain the power, you must first pass my test."

"Trial?" Yao Yue looked surprised. "What do you want to do?"

"You need to face the deepest fear in your heart. Only when you defeat yourself can you gain this power." The voice of the man in black robe was as clear as a wind chime, but it contained an endless sense of oppression.

At this moment, a low roar came from the abyss, and a huge black shadow crawled out of the abyss. It was their deepest fear: the phantom of failure.

"Yunxuan! Yaoyue! You will only fail!" The black shadow opened his mouth and let out a harsh mocking sound, which struck their hearts directly.

"Don't listen to it! We can overcome this!" Yun Xuan roared, his fighting spirit ignited in his heart, "We trust each other!"

"Yes, we've already gone through so many challenges!" Yao Yue clenched her fists, the fear in her heart gradually dispelled by faith, "We can't let the shadows of the past defeat us!"

Seeing this, the black shadow roared angrily and pounced on them. Yunxuan and Yaoyue looked at each other, their eyes revealing a firm belief.
