Star Journey: Destiny Returns
Chapter 132 The Call of the Wind Flower
Amidst the sea of flowers on the mountaintop, Yunxuan and Yaoyue felt an unprecedented sense of tranquility. The colorful blossoms swayed gently in the breeze, seemingly telling them ancient secrets. The sunlight bathed them, casting a golden veil over their adventure.
"It's so beautiful here!" Yao Yue was overwhelmed, her heart filled with wonder. She gently stroked a blue petal, as if touching a mysterious power.
"Yes, every flower here seems to be calling us." Yunxuan's eyes flashed with excitement. He had a vague feeling that the wind flower they were looking for was hidden here.
As they explored, the surrounding flowers seemed to respond to their calls, their fragrance growing stronger and more intoxicating. Yaoyue frowned slightly, "Yunxuan, we should be careful. It seems too quiet here, there might be hidden danger."
"I know." Yunxuan nodded. Although his adventurous spirit was still high, Yaoyue's vigilance made him realize that they needed to be more cautious in the face of unknown challenges.
At this moment, a low roar suddenly came from the other side of the sea of flowers, shaking the ground slightly. Yunxuan and Yaoyue looked at each other, their hearts tightening.
"Did you hear that?" Yaoyue asked in a low voice, with nervousness in her eyes.
"I heard it." Yun Xuan clenched his sword, a sense of unease rising in his heart. "Let's be careful and move closer to the source of the sound."
The two men cautiously advanced in the direction of the sound. The scent of the sea of flowers grew stronger, seeming to add a mysterious atmosphere to their adventure. As they approached, they saw a huge shadow hidden among the flowers. The surrounding flowers withered in fear, and the air was filled with a pungent smell of blood.
"What is that?" Yaoyue's voice trembled, and she was obviously afraid of the impending danger.
"Let's go and take a look." Yun Xuan gritted his teeth and said, his heart filled with courage. He knew that only by facing their fear could they truly find their own strength.
As they cautiously approached, the shadow gradually revealed its true form—a gigantic monster, massive in size, covered in black scales, its eyes fierce and scorching. It roared, its mouth wide open, as if warning anyone who dared to approach.
"Yunxuan, it's very dangerous!" Yaoyue grabbed his hand, looking worried.
"I know, but we must stop it, otherwise all the flowers here will be destroyed!" Yun Xuan responded firmly, his fighting spirit ignited in his heart. He took a step forward, sword flashing, and rushed towards the monster.
"Wait!" Yao Yue yelled, but it was too late to stop him. She was torn between wanting to protect Yun Xuan and having to follow him.
The monster, sensing the attack, turned in anger, baring its sharp fangs and lunging at Yunxuan. Yunxuan's heart tightened, and with his agility, he dodged the fatal blow. Immediately, he swung his sword, its light like a rainbow, striking the monster's heart.
"Go!" He roared, and the sword blade cut through the air, bringing with it a sharp sound of wind, and hit the monster directly.
The monster seemed enraged, its eyes flashing red as it let out a deep roar and quickly struck back. Its massive claws slashed down, and Yun Xuan felt the intense pressure coming. He quickly dodged, but was still knocked back a few steps by the aftermath.
"Yunxuan, be careful!" Yaoyue shouted loudly, her heart burning.
"I'm fine!" Yun Xuan took a deep breath, trying to calm his mind. He knew that only by defeating this demonic beast could they truly gain the power of the Wind Flower. He rushed forward again, the sword flashing in the sunlight, dazzling like stars.
As the battle progressed, Yunxuan and the monster grew closer. Yaoyue watched anxiously from the side, praying in her heart that he would be safe.
"Watch this!" Yun Xuan roared, using his nimble agility to dodge attacks. His sword flashed like water, light yet fierce. Every time he struck, he was testing the monster's weaknesses, looking for an opportunity to strike back.
At this moment, the monster's huge tail suddenly swept over, and Yunxuan had no time to react. He was knocked to the ground and coughed up blood in pain. Yaoyue saw this and her heart tightened. She rushed to his side and asked, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." Yun Xuan endured the pain, fighting spirit burning in his eyes, "I can't give up!"
He struggled to his feet and looked up to see the monster charging towards him, roaring deafeningly. Suddenly, Yun Xuan remembered the power in the star map and quickly closed his eyes, focusing his mind.
"The power of the stars, give me courage!" He chanted silently in his heart, feeling the guidance of the star map.
In an instant, the surrounding light began to flicker, and it seemed as if the stars in the sky responded to his call, converging into a powerful beam of light that struck the monster's heart.
"Go!" Yun Xuan swung his sword with all his might. The light instantly transformed into a streak of light, tearing through the air and fiercely striking the monster. The monster let out a painful roar, its massive body repelled by the strong light, and fell heavily to the ground.
"Success!" Yaoyue cheered happily, tears of excitement flashing in her eyes.
"Quick, seize the opportunity!" Yun Xuan quickly rushed towards the monster. The sword flashed again and pierced the monster's heart. With a dull thud, the monster finally fell down powerlessly, and the air around it instantly became much fresher.
The two stood breathlessly beside the monster's corpse. Yaoyue held Yunxuan's hand tightly. "You are so brave. I... I almost thought I was going to lose you."
"I don't want to lose you either." Yunxuan smiled faintly, his concern for Yaoyue rising spontaneously in his heart. Their palms were tightly clasped, and the warmth between them made them feel extremely firm.
"We succeeded. Now we should go find the wind flower." Yaoyue slowly breathed a sigh of relief and looked into the depths of the sea of flowers.
"Yes, go there quickly." Yunxuan nodded, with endless anticipation in his heart.
They walked through the sea of flowers, their petals dancing in the wind as if celebrating their victory. As their pace quickened, the flowers ahead grew more vibrant, emitting an alluring fragrance, as if guiding them.
"The flowers here are so beautiful, I have never seen them before." Yaoyue said happily, and her mood became cheerful.
"Every flower is telling an ancient story, waiting to be discovered by the right person." Yunxuan responded with a smile, his heart full of anticipation for the future.
Finally, they arrived at the center of the sea of flowers, where a dreamlike scene unfolded. A brilliant wind flower bloomed in the sunlight, emitting a warm and mysterious light.
"This is the Wind Flower!" Yaoyue shouted excitedly, her heart surging with desire for power.
Yunxuan's heart surged as he slowly approached the flower, sensing its powerful aura. They both knelt, silently praying, hoping to infuse the power of the Wind Flower into their souls.
"Let us work together to awaken the power of this flower!" Yun Xuan said firmly, holding the sword tightly in his hand.
"Yes, together!" Yaoyue responded, her heart full of confidence and hope.
At that moment, the light of the Wind Flower became brighter and brighter, as if responding to their voices. Then the surrounding flowers began to bloom, and the bright light like stars illuminated the whole world.
