"Attack!" The leading man in black gave the order again. In an instant, more than a dozen men in black pounced on the two men like beasts out of a cage.

"They're outnumbered, and we don't stand a chance!" Yao Yue sensed the incoming force behind her and quickly slashed with her sword, blocking the attack of a man in black. A hint of anxiety lingered in her voice, "If this continues, we'll be surrounded!"

"We must find a safe place!" Yun Xuan made a quick decision. A hidden path flashed through his mind. "Go over there. There's a hidden cave!"

"Okay!" Yaoyue immediately cooperated. Following Yunxuan's instructions, the two turned and ran towards the cave. During the fierce battle, their tacit understanding deepened, as if a silent contract had already formed deep in their hearts.

Just as they were about to approach the cave, a man in black suddenly rushed out from the side, and the blade of his sword slashed across Yaoyue's shoulder. Yaoyue cried out in pain, and blood splattered instantly.

"Yaoyue!" Yunxuan was shocked, his heart was broken, and he rushed forward almost desperately, with the sword flashing in the air, to meet the man in black.

"I'm fine!" Yaoyue gritted her teeth. Although she felt severe pain, she knew clearly that she couldn't retreat at this moment. She quickly wiped the sweat and blood from her face with her hands, her eyes revealing an unyielding determination.
