Chenghu gently lowered little Yinzhen from his arms and cast his gaze upon the portrait on the wall. The figure in the painting bore a striking resemblance to his mother from that time and place, as if time had left the same mark on them. He stared intently at the portrait, as if he could travel back in time to the beautiful times they had shared. Little Yinzhen looked around curiously, seemingly drawn to the beauty of the woman in the painting as well.

Little Yinzhen gently tugged at Chenghu's sleeve and asked curiously, "Brother, do you know the person in the portrait?"

Cheng Hu replied: "Of course I know her. She is the mother of my brother and your second brother. How could we not know her?"

Little Yinzhen: "My brother's mother is so beautiful."

Cheng Hu stared at the portrait and said softly, "Mother, you asked me to protect my brother. I will do my best to prevent anyone from harming Bao Cheng."

Little Yinzhen snuggled up to his brother quietly like a little follower.

Chenghu stayed in Kunning Palace for a long time, then leaned over, picked up little Yinzhen, and walked out: "Thank you, Xiaosi, for accompanying me in Kunning Palace today."

Little Yinzhen: "You're welcome. Xiao Si likes being with brother."

Cheng Hu gently carried Xiao Si and left Kunning Palace. He asked softly, "Xiao Si, where do you want to go?"

Little Yinzhen looked at Chenghu eagerly and said expectantly, "Little Four wants to play with Second Brother. Can you take me to see Second Brother?"

Cheng Hu: "Okay, I'll take Xiao Si to Yuqing Palace to find your second brother. Let's go see if your second brother has finished his homework."

Little Yinzhen said, "Second brother should have finished writing."

Yuqing Palace

Chenghu gently carried little Yinzhen back to Yuqing Palace and hurried to the study. He pushed open the door and asked gently, "Baocheng, have you finished your homework?"

Yinreng immediately put down the book in his hand when he heard the voice. There was a hint of subtle excitement in his voice. He raised his head, and a glimmer of joy flashed in his eyes: "Brother, you are finally back!"

Cheng Hu smiled and said, "Of course you have to come back, brother. Where else can you go if you don't come back?" After saying that, he gently stroked his brother's head, his eyes full of pampering.

Yinreng looked at Chenghu with a childish look in his eyes. He asked cautiously, "Brother, I have finished my homework. Would you be willing to check it for me?"

Chenghu nodded and agreed readily: "No problem, brother will come and help you check it." As he said, he began to check his younger brother's homework seriously.

Yinreng stared at his brother intently, afraid that he would disappear in an instant.

Chenghu felt his brother's gaze and asked curiously, "Baocheng, why are you staring at me?"

Yinreng said anxiously, "I'm always worried that this is just a dream. My brother will disappear in the blink of an eye, leaving me with endless longing."

Chenghu gently put little Yinzhen down from his arms and gently embraced his precious brother. He gently comforted him, "Don't be afraid, I'm always here. Mother and your brother here must have sent me here to protect you because they were worried that Baocheng would be alone."

Yinreng gently put his arm around Chenghu's waist and whispered, "Brother, if you could stay by my side here, would you also give me the same endless love and care that you do?"

Chenghu smiled and said, "Don't worry, brother is sincere to Baocheng." He suddenly caught a glimpse of a small figure passing by Baocheng, and a ripple appeared in his heart.
