Zhao Jiashi: "Master, are you going to the palace today?"

Yinxiang: "Father and Mother returned to the palace yesterday. We can just go directly to the palace to pay our respects. My brothers should have come with them, so we don't have to run around to different palaces."

Zhao Jia nodded slightly and said, "Then I will go and prepare. We will go to the palace early to show our respect." Yinxiang waved his hand and said, "Don't worry, wait until we have breakfast and are ready before going."

After the two of them finished their breakfast, they went out to the palace with their attendants. Arriving at the palace, they paid their respects to Kangxi in the Qianqing Palace. Kangxi saw that Yinxiang was in high spirits and asked with a smile, "Old Thirteen, have you been out riding or hunting recently?" Yinxiang quickly replied, "Father, I went to the suburbs a few days ago and had a good harvest." Kangxi nodded with satisfaction.

Afterwards, they proceeded to Kunning Palace to pay their respects to the Empress Dowager. Arriving at the palace gates, they saw the wives of several of the princes present. After exchanging greetings, they entered the inner hall together. The Empress took Zhao Jia's hand and said gently, "You've taken such good care of the Thirteenth Prince. I see he looks well." Zhao Jia bowed and said, "This is all thanks to my mother. My master is also in good health." After some pleasantries, everyone enjoyed lunch in the palace before dispersing.

Yinxiang and Zhaojia were riding in a carriage back to the mansion. On the way, Zhaojia leaned on Yinxiang's shoulder and whispered, "I'm a little embarrassed by Mother's praise today." Yinxiang chuckled and said, "You've always managed the mansion so well, you deserve it." As he was speaking, the carriage suddenly lurched, and Zhaojia almost fell. Yinxiang quickly caught her. After the carriage stabilized, Yinxiang's face darkened. He lifted the curtain and asked the driver, "What happened?" The driver replied in panic, "Sir, a cat just jumped out from nowhere and startled the horses."

Yinxiang said softly, "Let's go back home." He slowly lowered the curtains and his eyes fell on Fu Jin beside him. He asked with concern, "Are you hurt anywhere?"

Zhao Jiashi: "Thanks to you for supporting me, I didn't get hurt. I was just a little scared."

Yinxiang said: "In the future, you can get closer to your eldest, third, fifth, and seventh sisters-in-law. Oh, and your eldest and fourth sisters are also fine, because the four sisters-in-law are all my brothers' wives, and the eldest and fifth sisters are also my mother's children."

Zhao Jia nodded gently. "I'll take note. Get closer to them so we can look after each other if anything happens in the mansion." Yinxiang looked at her with satisfaction. "Well, I'm glad you understand. They're all very easy to get along with. If you treat them sincerely, you'll surely get along well." As they spoke, the carriage arrived at the mansion gate. The two of them disembarked and had just entered the house when a servant arrived with the news, "Master, word just came from the palace that the Emperor will be hosting a banquet at Changchun Garden tomorrow, inviting all the princes and their wives to attend." Yinxiang frowned slightly, then relaxed. "Understood. Go and arrange for the clothing and gifts for tomorrow." The servant took his orders and left. Zhao Jia asked with some concern, "Why are you having this banquet so suddenly?" Yinxiang reassured her, "Don't overthink it. Father might just be hosting it for a get-together. Go and prepare well, and dress nicely tomorrow." Zhao Jia responded and returned to her room to begin preparations. Yinxiang went to the study to take care of some matters, while secretly speculating about the intention of holding a banquet in the Imperial Garden tomorrow.
