Fifth Prince's Mansion

On a bright, sunny day, Wu Xiha, carrying a basket of fresh fruit, walked briskly toward the bamboo forest beside the martial arts training ground. The bamboo forest was lush and green, and the gentle breeze rustled the leaves, creating a beautiful melody. Deep within the forest, two adorable ferruginous slugs lazily basked in the sun. Their round, black and white bodies, their furry appearance adorable. At the sound of Wu Xiha's footsteps, the ferruginous slugs immediately opened their eyes, excitedly scrambled to their feet, and staggered toward her.

Wu Xiha smiled, squatting down, pulled a bright red apple from the basket, and gently handed it to one of the ferns. The ferns eagerly opened their mouths to take it, biting into the apple and chewing it with relish. Seeing this, the other ferns also anxiously tapped Wu Xiha's legs with their front paws, as if urging her to share one. Seeing the two ferns eating so happily, Wu Xiha couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Yinzhen walked slowly back to the mansion with steady and powerful steps. His stern face revealed a hint of fatigue. As soon as he stepped through the gate, a clever little maid hurried up to greet him. She bowed and said softly, "Master, the wife is in the bamboo forest in the backyard."

Yinzhen nodded slightly to indicate that he understood, then turned and walked towards the bamboo forest.

Wu Xiha sat leisurely by the side, her beautiful eyes gently gazing at the two little ones in front of her. They were holding red apples that exuded an alluring aroma and eating them with gusto.

Yinzhen walked steadily to the quiet bamboo forest beside the martial arts arena. He saw a woman in a light blue Manchu dress sitting quietly there. She called out softly, "Youyou, what brought you here?" His voice was low and magnetic, with a hint of concern.

Wu Xiha stood up and bowed to him: "My Lord Beile has returned. I am here to feed the two iron-eating beasts some fruit."

Yinzhen walked over, gently helped Wu Xiha up, and glanced at the two iron-eating beasts. "These two little guys are getting plump and plump."

Wu Xiha smiled faintly and said, "This was given to me by Lord Beile. They are best suited to the quiet and peaceful bamboo forest where they can inhabit.

Yinzhen narrowed his eyes slightly, with a faint smile on the corner of his mouth, and said softly: "Why call me Lord Beile? Don't call me that in the future. You should call me husband." His low and magnetic voice seemed to carry an invisible magic that made people intoxicated by it.

When Wu Xiha heard this, her face flushed and she replied in a low voice: "Yes, husband."

Yinzhen took her hand, and they stood side by side. At this moment, a gust of wind blew, and bamboo leaves fell like a green snow.

Wu Xiha gently picked up the last few red, fragrant apples from the basket and walked cautiously to the adorable ferruginous animal. The ferruginous animal blinked its big, round eyes and stared curiously at the apples in Wu Xiha's hand, making "hmm" sounds from time to time, as if urging Wu Xiha to give it the apples quickly.

Yinzhen watched her feed the iron beast with tenderness. He quickly stepped forward and gently put his arm around her slender waist. The two walked side by side, slowly heading towards the main courtyard. Along the way, Yinzhen smiled and whispered, "Youyou, you must keep a close eye on me, your husband. I don't know how many people are secretly thinking about me!" As he spoke, he deliberately pinched the soft flesh on her waist with his hand, causing her to grumble.

Wu Xiha: "I miss you so much, but you are lying anyway, my husband."

Yinzhen looked puzzled and asked, "When did I lie to you?" Wu Xiha pouted and said, "If you don't remember, forget it. I won't ask you for anything in the future. You will forget it anyway."

Upon hearing this, Yinzhen became even more curious. He hurriedly pulled Wu Xiha to sit in a nearby pavilion and said seriously, "Youyou, tell me, how did your husband lie to you? If it is truly your husband's fault, I will certainly grant you one favor." Wu Xiha looked up at him, snorted, and said, "It's okay if your husband doesn't remember. It's just a small matter."

Yinzhen sighed helplessly and reached out to scratch Wu Xiha's nose. "Youyou, don't be so petty. I'll only change if you tell me." Wu Xiha then whispered, "You said before that I was too young to be pregnant and told me to wait two years. It's been so long now. If you didn't want me to be pregnant, why did you just tell me directly? Why did you lie to me?"

Yinzhen was stunned at first, then burst into laughter. "Youyou, so that's what happened. It wasn't that I was deliberately deceiving you. It wasn't long after I left my mourning period, and I came to the main courtyard."

Wu Xiha bit her lower lip lightly, "My husband is always right."

Yinzhen caressed her hair lovingly, "Since Youyou wants it, let's just go with the flow, okay? If you don't have it, we'll take it slow. If you do, keep it."

Wu Xiha blushed and lowered his head: "I will follow your instructions."
