Prince Li's Mansion

Yaliqi sat in front of the window embroidering a sachet for her husband. While embroidering, she thought about how her husband would look when he received the sachet, and the corners of her mouth rose slightly.

After finishing his work and paying his respects to his mother, Yinreng was about to leave the palace and return home. He had just taken two steps when he felt a soft touch on his leg. He looked down and saw that it was his younger brother: "Little Fourteen, what are you doing?"

Yinxiang: "Third brother, third brother, I want to go out and play." He said softly and coquettishly.

Yinreng leaned over and picked him up: "Can't you play with your seventh brother?"

"Seventh brother always bullies me. I don't want to play with him." Yinxiang said with a pout.

Yinreng shook his head helplessly, thinking that this little Fourteenth Prince was really spoiled.

"Okay, I'll take you out to play, but you have to tell me where you want to go first?" Yinreng asked with a smile.

Yinxiang's eyes lit up and he said excitedly, "I want to go to the market to see if there are any delicious candies."

Yinreng nodded and carried Yinxiang out of the palace. Along the way, Yinxiang kept asking questions and Yinreng patiently answered his questions.

When they arrived at the market, Yinxiang ran around happily like a little bird, while Yinreng followed slowly behind him. Suddenly, Yinxiang saw a stall selling candied haws, so he took Yinreng's hand and walked over to it.

Yinxiang pointed at the candied haws and said to Yinreng, "Third brother, I want to eat this." Yinreng looked at him, took out his purse, bought a string of candied haws and handed it to him.

Yinxiang took the candied haws and ate them happily. Yinreng couldn't help but smile at his satisfied expression.

However, at this moment, a carriage suddenly lost control and rushed towards Yinxiang. Yinreng was startled and quickly reached out to pull Yinxiang behind him, blocking the carriage with his body.

When the carriage stopped, everyone around was stunned. Yinxiang turned pale with fear, while Yinreng suffered some minor injuries.

"Third brother, are you okay?" Yinxiang asked anxiously.

"I'm fine." Yinreng comforted him, "But we should go back quickly."

So Yinreng sent Yinxiang back to the palace. On the way, Yinxiang held Yinreng's hand tightly, as if he was afraid that he would be hurt again.

Prince Li's Mansion

Yinreng returned to his mansion and went straight to the main courtyard. As soon as he stepped into the courtyard, he saw someone sitting in front of the window.

Yaliqi heard footsteps, looked up and saw her husband, and hurriedly put down the sachet in her hand and went out to greet him.

Yinreng pushed open the door and entered the inner room, where his wife threw herself into his arms.

Yaliqi: "Husband, you came back a little late today."

Yinreng hugged her and whispered, "After finishing my work, I came to pay my respects to Mother. I was about to leave the palace and return home, but Little Fourteen got attached to me, so I was delayed."

Yaliqi: "Is that so? Then my husband, please change your clothes and loosen up."

"Hiss..." Yinreng couldn't help but gasp.

"What's wrong?" Yalichi hurried to check and saw a hideous wound on Yinreng's arm, with blood seeping out of the cloth.

"How did this happen?" Yaliqi asked with a distressed look on his face.

Yinreng shook his head nonchalantly and told her the matter, "It's no problem."

How could Yaliqi believe him? She knew Yinreng said that because he was afraid that she would worry. She said nothing more, silently took the medicine box and treated Yinreng's wound.

Yinreng looked at Yaliqi's serious expression, and a warm feeling welled up in his heart. He grabbed Yaliqi's hand and said, "Thank you, Yaliqi."

Yaliqi smiled slightly, "We are husband and wife, so why bother thanking each other?" She turned around and poured a cup of tea for Yinreng, "Today, I embroidered a sachet and wanted to give it to my husband."

Yinreng took the sachet and looked at the pattern on it carefully, "It's very beautiful, thank you, Madam." The two smiled at each other, and the atmosphere was warm and harmonious.
