Spy Wars: Strong Agents Who Are Ruthless and Talk Little
Chapter 102 Working 8 Hours
Su Ming had always been an ordinary office worker, leading an ordinary, routine life. In the bustling city, he'd spend his days shuttling between skyscrapers, habitually sipping a Starbucks coffee, catching the subway to the office, and toiling away at his computer for eight hours. On the surface, he was an unassuming programmer, but in reality, he had another, lesser-known identity: a secret agent.
Su Ming's career as a secret agent began five years ago. By chance, through a friend, he met a mysterious figure who claimed to be a member of the "Shadow Organization." The Shadow Organization is an international secret service agency responsible for maintaining global peace and order. Due to Su Ming's exceptional intelligence and computer skills, he was selected to join this elite team.
As night falls and the city lights gradually brighten, Su Ming receives a coded message from the organization. Quickly donning his black agent uniform, he transforms into a calm and resourceful agent. He carries out missions in every corner of the city, sometimes investigating hostile plots, other times rescuing kidnapped hostages.
Su Ming's missions weren't always smooth sailing. One day, he received a particularly difficult assignment: investigating an underground criminal organization called "Black Gold." According to reliable intelligence, "Black Gold" was planning a cyberattack on the city's power grid, intending to paralyze the entire city.
To accomplish this mission, Su Ming must approach the core figure of the "Black Gold" organization, a hacker codenamed "Crow." Disguised as a freelancer, he leveraged his advanced computer skills to reach Crow. He began building a reputation on various underground hacker forums, attracting Crow's attention. After several virtual encounters, Su Ming finally secured a meeting with Crow.
Crow, a shrewd and cunning man, met Su Ming in a hidden underground bar. The atmosphere was dim and noisy. Under the flickering lights, Su Ming and Crow sat face to face. They discussed technology and programming, seemingly exchanging technical insights, but in reality, every word was filled with hidden meanings.
Su Ming earned Crow's trust with his clever rhetoric and solid technical skills. Through several meetings, he gradually penetrated Black Gold's inner circle, gaining access to a wealth of the organization's secrets. However, this also put him in great danger. During a mission, Su Ming accidentally revealed his true identity and was targeted by Black Gold's men.
In this cat-and-mouse game, Su Ming escaped danger time and time again with his wit and the support of his organization. Through various schemes, he managed to obtain the detailed plan of the cyberattack planned by the "Black Gold" organization and successfully disrupted their operations.
As time went by, Su Ming became more mature in the world of espionage. He realized that in this city of steel and concrete, behind every seemingly ordinary day, there might be countless crises and challenges hidden. Although his career as an agent was full of dangers, he never regretted his choice.
In this sleepless city, Su Ming continues to play a dual role. He remains the quiet programmer by day, but by night, he becomes a fearless defender of the city. As the Shadow Organization's missions grow increasingly complex, Su Ming knows his journey as an agent has only just begun. No matter what awaits him, he will forge ahead without hesitation, continuing to safeguard the peace and tranquility of this city.
Su Ming is an agent hiding his identity in the city. He receives a mysterious mission to investigate a case of commercial espionage by a multinational corporation.
Su Ming stood by the window, watching the city lights twinkle in the night. The bustle of the day had gradually receded, replaced by the tranquility of the night, but for him, the busyness was just beginning. He exhaled softly, placed his coffee cup on the table, turned around, and pulled out an encrypted black phone from a secret compartment on the bookshelf.
The phone screen flickered, displaying a new mission. Shadow Organization missions were infrequent, but each one was crucial. He quickly scanned them, his eyes growing serious. This time, the mission was to investigate the corporate espionage activities of a multinational corporation called Cyber International.
"Commercial espionage?" Su Ming muttered to himself, frowning. "This is a tricky task."
The mission description mentioned that "Cyber International" appeared to have employed a group of highly skilled hackers to steal the core technology and trade secrets of its competitors. The key to this mission was to identify the mastermind behind this and to find conclusive evidence.
Su Ming sighed and thought to himself, "This company is well-known in the industry and is huge. If we want to find out the truth without alerting them, we must be extremely careful."
Thinking of this, he immediately realized that he had to start collecting information about "Cyber International". He decided to contact an old friend of his, Ah Cheng, an experienced information intelligence expert.
A few hours later, Su Ming and Ah Cheng met at a small cafe on the outskirts of the city. This was where they usually exchanged information, a quiet place with few interruptions.
"Su Ming, long time no see." Ah Cheng smiled. After sitting down, he picked up the coffee in front of him and looked at Su Ming. "I heard that you have been very busy recently."
"Indeed," Su Ming smiled slightly. "This mission is quite difficult. I need your help in investigating the background of Cyber International, especially their recent activities and internal structure."
Ah Cheng nodded, pulled out his laptop, and began typing rapidly. "This company has a considerable reputation in the industry, with strong financial resources and technological R&D capabilities. However, in recent years, their activities in some gray areas have gradually increased."
"Gray area?" Su Ming raised an eyebrow, knowing what this meant. "Does it mean that their business operations are improper?"
"That's right," Ah Cheng continued, the information on his screen scrolling rapidly. "I've found out that they've been in frequent contact with some unknown technology companies recently. These companies might be their partners, using them to cover up illegal transactions."
Su Ming thought for a while: "What are the characteristics of these companies?"
Ah Cheng quickly tapped on the keyboard and presented the information to Su Ming: "They are mainly small companies that were established not long ago and have vague backgrounds. They look like shell companies, specifically used for fund transfer or money laundering."
"That's interesting." Su Ming said thoughtfully, "Their goal is to launder the profits from espionage through these companies."
