The Untamed: Wei Wuxian Reborn as a Child

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji returned to the quiet room together. Lan Wangji sat down at his study table and began to review his lessons.

Wei Wuxian, bored, stayed aside, took out the Tianzismile he brought from Caiyi Town from his Qiankun bag, and drank it leisurely.

After taking a few sips, Wei Wuxian's eyes rolled and he thought of teasing Lan Wangji.

"Lan Zhan, have you ever had Tianzixiao? Here's a taste." Wei Wuxian said with a smile and handed the wine in the cup to Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji looked at Wei Wuxian's expectant eyes, frowned slightly, hesitated for a moment, then took the bottle and drank it all in one gulp.

Wei WuXian murmured quietly: "Didn't Lan Zhan get drunk after drinking one cup when he was little..."

Before he could finish his words, Lan Wangji hit his head on the table with a bang.

Wei WuXian looked at it and burst into laughter: "Sure enough, it's still the same, one glass and you're down!"

Unexpectedly, a short while later, Lan Wangji suddenly stood up, grabbed Wei Wuxian, and muttered, "Let's go to the back mountain to catch some fish."

Wei WuXian hurriedly said, “Lan Zhan, stop it. What are you trying to catch fish at this hour of night?”

Lan Wangji, however, ignored the request and insisted on going: "Catch some fish and grill it for you."

Wei Wuxian was helpless and pulled Lan Wangji hard: "Lan Zhan, be obedient, we won't go."

"That won't do. You said you wanted to eat fish." Lan Wangji stood still, refusing to move no matter how Wei Wuxian pulled him.

Wei Wuxian was at a loss for words, as he then remembered that he had indeed mentioned it casually before, but he didn't expect Lan Wangji to have taken it to heart.

“But it’s so late now, how about we go tomorrow?” Wei Wuxian tried to persuade him.

“No.” Lan Wangji said firmly, looking directly at Wei Wuxian with a hint of stubbornness, “Let’s go now.”

Wei WuXian's heart stirred, and knowing he couldn't persuade him, he nodded and said, "Okay, okay, let's go together. But I can't catch fish, so I'll rely on you!"

The two came to the pond in the back mountain. Lan Wangji jumped into the water and caught a few fish in a short while.

Just as the two were busy catching fish, Lan Qiren came over angrily.

"Lan Wangji, what are you doing?" Lan Qiren roared.

Lan Wangji, his eyes hazy with drunkenness, replied, “Catch some fish and grill them for Wei Ying.” He then burped.

Lan Qiren was so angry that his beard trembled: "Ridiculous! How disgraceful!"

Wei Wuxian quickly explained, "Mr. Lan, this... this is my fault. I shouldn't have given Lan Zhan wine to drink."

Lan Qiren glared at him, "Wei Wuxian, you are also lawless!"

Lan Wangji was still shouting: "Catch fish, catch fish..."

Lan Qiren shouted, "Come here, take Lan Wangji to be spanked!"

Several disciples hurried over and grabbed Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji struggled: "Let me go, I want to catch fish."

Wei Wuxian said anxiously, "Mr. Lan, Lan Zhan is drunk. Please forgive him this time."

Lan Qiren remained unmoved: "Drunk and inappropriate behavior violates house rules and must be severely punished!"

Wei Wuxian looked guilty: "Lan Zhan, I really hurt you this time."

Lan Wangji, however, chuckled: "Wei Ying, fish is delicious."

Just like that, Lan Wangji was pulled away by his disciples.

Wei WuXian watched them leave, feeling a surge of regret in his heart: "It's all my fault. I shouldn't have teased him with wine."

Lan Qiren glared at Wei Wuxian and said, "You should also reflect on this!" Then he turned away.

Wei Wuxian paced back and forth in the quiet room, worried about Lan Wangji: "I wonder what kind of beating Lan Zhan will get."

After a while, a disciple came to report: "Master Wei, Second Master Lan has finished his punishment."

Wei Wuxian rushed over and saw Lan Wangji lying on the bed with a pale face.

"Lan Zhan, how are you?" Wei Wuxian asked with concern.

Lan Wangji mumbled, "Wei Ying, fish..."

Wei WuXian didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "It's already this late, and you're still thinking about fish."

Lan Wangji fell asleep again.

Wei WuXian sighed, "Alas, I won't dare let you drink again."
