Zhuque led Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji westward. The scenery along the way was picturesque, but both of them were focused on the town they were about to arrive in. Wei Wuxian chatted with Zhuque as they walked.

"Suzaku, where are you taking us?" Wei Wuxian asked curiously.

The Vermillion Bird chirped crisply, as if in response to his question. Lan Wangji followed quietly beside him, a hint of anticipation in his eyes.

As they approached the town, Wei WuXian suddenly thought of something and said, "Suzaku, if you go into the town like this now, the people will definitely think you're a monster."

After hearing what Wei Wuxian said, Zhuque paused for a moment, then a light flashed on his body, and his body shrank directly into the size of a little bird.

At this time, Suzaku said: "There is someone in front."

Arriving at the inn, Xue Yang and Xiao Xingchen took Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji to their room. Although the room was simple, it was very clean.

Wei Wuxian placed the small, fledgling-looking Vermillion Bird on the table and asked, "Junior-Master, have you found any clues here?"

Xiao Xingchen shook his head and said, "No, the people here seem to be very afraid of something, but when we asked them, they wouldn't say anything."
