Lin Daiyu's Rebirth

Chapter 79 Don’t wait until you lose something to cherish it

"Yun'er, you are so beautiful today. From today on, you are my concubine, Yu. Don't worry, I will treat you well." Master Yu said as he gently lifted Xiangyun's veil.

Zijuan and Xueyan smiled at each other, gently closed the door, and retreated.

Xiangyun stared blankly at everything in the room, sometimes lucid and sometimes confused. She knew that she had become the bride of the man in front of her.

Master Yu hugged Xiangyun in his arms with a distressed look on his face and whispered in her ear, "Yun'er, from now on, no one will dare to bully you."

Xiangyun blushed, lowered her head, and snuggled in Master Yu's arms.

Master Yu gently stroked Xiangyun's hair and said softly, "Yun'er, do you know? I've liked you since the first time I saw you. The first time we were together, I wasn't good enough to you. Don't worry, I will change."

Xiangyun felt a warm feeling in her heart after hearing what Master Yu said. She raised her head, looked into Master Yu's eyes, and tears flowed gently down her cheeks.

Mr. Yu smiled and gently kissed Xiangyun's forehead. He picked up Xiangyun, walked to the bed and laid her on it.

Then he sat down on the bed, gently held Xiangyun's hand, and said, "Yun'er, tonight is our wedding night. Let's drink to each other's cups."

Mr. Yu slowly stood up, reached out to take the wine jug on the table, and then gently poured two glasses of wine.

He held the tray steadily in both hands, walked slowly to Xiangyun, and gently placed the tray on the table.

Xiangyun looked at him with confusion, not understanding why he did this.

Mr. Yu smiled slightly, picked up a glass of wine and handed it to Xiangyun, while holding another glass of wine in his other hand.

He smiled and nodded to Xiangyun, indicating that she should follow his actions. Xiangyun hesitated for a moment, but still did it.

Their arms crossed and their wine glasses clinked lightly, making crisp sounds.

The corners of Master Yu's mouth rose slightly, and a gentle light flashed in his eyes.

He whispered, "This is called the wedding wine. After we drink it, we will be happy for the rest of our lives." After that, he slowly raised the wine glass and drank it all in one gulp with Xiangyun.

Xiangyun looked at Master Yu with doubt, and she had many questions in her mind. At this moment, she felt as if she was in a beautiful dream, which was too unreal.

Mr. Yu smiled and began to untie Xiangyun's clothes, revealing her fair skin. Xiangyun closed her eyes, feeling Mr. Yu's caress, her heart full of anticipation.

Xiangyun's face flushed and she nodded shyly to show her agreement.

As time went by, the two gradually immersed themselves in the beauty of the night.

"Xiangyun, where are you? I am your Young Master Jiang. Where have you been?" Jiang Yuchen came to Zuihonglou anxiously. From the hall to the room where Xiangyun lived, he looked for her everywhere, but found nothing.

His heart felt like it was being tightly gripped by an invisible hand, causing unbearable pain.

He screamed hysterically, his voice echoing throughout the Zuihonglou, carrying endless despair and pain.

At this moment, he felt as if he was abandoned by the world, alone and helpless.

He walked madly through every street near Zuihonglou, leaving no corner unsearched, hoping to find any trace of Xiangyun.

However, no matter how hard he tried, Xiangyun seemed to have disappeared out of thin air, and there was no news of her.

After returning to Zuihonglou, he began to search all the rooms one by one, even the kitchen and the woodshed. The girls looked at him with strange eyes, as if they were looking at a madman.

But he didn't care, he just wanted to find Xiangyun as soon as possible.

He didn't know where Xiangyun had gone, nor how to find her. This feeling of powerlessness made him feel extremely painful, and he could only silently pray that Xiangyun was safe.

I don’t know how long it took, but Mother Qian came back from outside.

Jiang Yuchen seemed to have grabbed a life-saving straw, and rushed to Mother Qian impatiently. He fell to his knees with a thud, and tears flowed out of his eyes like a flood.

He choked and asked, "Mom, please tell me where Xiangyun went! I sneaked out today just to see her again..."

However, Mother Qian gave him a cold look, without even turning her head, and was about to leave.

Jiang Yuchen was extremely anxious. He quickly grabbed the corner of Qian's mother's clothes and begged bitterly, "Mom, please tell me, I know I was wrong. I really shouldn't have abandoned Xiangyun..."

He was filled with remorse, beating his chest hard and looking at Mother Qian with almost desperate eyes.

Unfortunately, Mother Qian remained indifferent. She just coldly ordered the girls around her: "Just do your own things and ignore this lunatic." After that, she left without looking back.

Jiang Yuchen was left kneeling there alone, bewildered and beating his chest with grief...

"Yu'er, we haven't been together for a long time. Don't you miss me?" Prince Beijing came to Cuizhu Garden as soon as he left the court.

He was dressed in a plain white brocade robe, with an elegant temperament, and looked at Daiyu with pity.

Daiyu sat quietly in the room, with her head lowered, holding the embroidery slats in her hands, concentrating on embroidering.

She applied the currently popular pear-shaped makeup, like a flower blooming in spring.

When Xiaoling saw the prince coming back, she quickly closed the door and then quietly retreated.

Only Daiyu and Prince Beijing were left in the room.

The prince slowly walked to Daiyu's side and asked softly, "Yu'er, how have you been recently? Have you thought about me?"

Daiyu raised her head and looked at the prince, a trace of tenderness flashed in her eyes, but then she lowered her head and continued embroidering, saying: "Prince, how come you have time to come to see me? I thought you were going to stay with Aunt Lan all the time."

Her voice was calm, as if she was not surprised by the prince's arrival.

Prince Beijing frowned slightly, walked up to Daiyu, reached out and held her hand, and said affectionately: "Yu'er, you know that you are the only one in my heart. Please don't treat me so coldly, okay?"

Daiyu broke free from the prince's hand, stood up and turned her back to the prince.

Prince Beijing sighed, walked to the window, looked at the scenery outside, his heart filled with helplessness and pain.

He knew that Daiyu was still upset because he had rescued her from the coffin, but he really liked Daiyu. He had never been so crazy about a woman before.

However, this large mansion made Daiyu suffer a lot of grievances.

"Yu'er, I know you blame me, but I really love you. I hope you can understand my difficulties." Prince Beijing turned and looked at Daiyu, his eyes full of affection and guilt.

He was afraid that Daiyu had never forgotten Baoyu, so he had been living there recently using Aunt Lan's matter as an excuse.

Daiyu turned her head and looked at the prince, tears in her eyes, and said, "Prince, I know your difficulties, but since I regained my memory, I have been very conflicted. I don't know how to face you."

Prince Beijing walked over to Daiyu, hugged her gently, and said, "Yu'er, believe me, everything will be fine."

Daiyu leaned in the prince's arms, feeling his warm embrace, and the grievances in her heart gradually dissipated.

She knew that she loved the prince deeply, but since she regained her memory, there was an insurmountable gap between them.

She wanted to forget all of this and start over with the prince, but she couldn't.

After all, it was the prince who stole her out of the coffin, and talking about love seems to tarnish the essence of love.

In fact, the prince was attracted by her beauty.

"Your Highness, I am willing to believe you, but give me some time. I don't know how to face you." Daiyu said softly.

Prince Beijing nodded, stroked Daiyu's hair, and said, "Don't worry, Yu'er, I won't let you get hurt again."

After saying that, the two hugged each other tightly.
