Practice begins with immortality

Timelines, in layman's terms, are parallel worlds. They are the countless seemingly real worlds that have emerged from various "possibilities" during the evolution of the universe. People in one time and space may live completely different lives than their counterparts in another time and space.

At this moment, the way of heaven was about to erase the time and space in which Wang Bai was.

But something unexpected happened again. Just as Wang Bai was about to soar into the air, an overwhelming force suddenly surged over him like a surging torrent. In the blink of an eye, the seemingly peaceful void suddenly came to a strange halt. Time seemed to freeze at this moment, and everything was immobile, as if the pause button had been pressed.

"Fairy Time, it seems that my guess is correct! This lower world has really given birth to an extremely heaven-defying treasure or existence!" Only a cry of surprise was heard throughout the void.

Following the sound, they saw two figures, a man and a woman, suddenly appearing in the void. The man was naturally Lin Xuan, who had noticed the unusual movement in the heavens. As for the woman standing beside him, whom he called the Fairy of Time, who was she?

The woman was dressed in a clean white dress, holding a water droplet-shaped object that emitted a dreamy glow. Her face was covered with a veil, making it impossible to see her features.

There is no doubt that this man and woman are both immortals!

"Hmm." Upon hearing Lin Xuan's words, Fairy Shixu nodded slightly, expressing her agreement. "Indeed, something that can make this Heavenly Dao wipe out a world must be extremely heaven-defying."

"It's worth it that I used the Heavenly Time Dust to freeze the time in this lower world." As she spoke, she held up the strange, water-drop-like object and said:

"After that, I only need to go back a certain period of time, to the time before the Heavenly Dao wiped out this world, and then I can take the treasure away in advance."

Going back in time and restoring the heavens and all the worlds is such a difficult task, but it seems not to be a difficult task in the mouth of this woman in palace dress. What does she rely on?

The answer is that this woman is a Spacetime Immortal. Although only a first-level Spacetime Immortal, with the broken third-level Spacetime Dao Immortal Treasure in her hand—the Heavenly Time Dust—she can easily restore the heavens and myriad worlds.

What's more, she only went back dozens or hundreds of frames, not all the heavens and worlds to the beginning of the world.

Time is not continuous; it flows through frames. A second can be broken down into countless frames, until there are no more. Each frame of a world can be a world of its own, and each frame's world will form a fork in the road due to its different evolution, repeating itself endlessly.

The first level, the third level, and so on are the realms after becoming an immortal.

When a living being embarks on the path of cultivation, the first stage is called a mortal spirit. All cultivators in the heavens and myriad worlds, except for the Mahayana cultivators who have survived the three disasters and the natural holy spirits, are mortal spirits.

The second stage is called the Immortal, or the Immortal. They are immortal and possess boundless power. But this is not the end.

The third stage—no, Wang Bo, to be more precise, the 2.5th stage—is called the "Seeing the Dao." This is the path of cultivation beyond the Immortal Realm, consisting of twelve realms, known as the "Twelve Gates of Opening Heaven and Seeing the Dao." It's also known as the Twelve Tribulations or the Twelve Transformations. Essentially, it involves a practitioner using their body as a seed, imitating the Dao and ultimately achieving enlightenment.

Cultivators at this stage are called True Immortals! And the twelfth level of True Immortals is also called the Flawless Immortal King!

After completing these twelve levels and taking one step further, one reaches the so-called third stage, which is called "the one who has attained enlightenment."

Cheng means to inherit. They carry the external manifestations of the Dao within themselves, such as time and space, cause and effect, fate, life, chaos, and so on. They are the only ones within the Dao, the limit within the Dao, and the ultimate power!
