"Section Chief Yao!" Deputy Director Lu turned around and shouted.

"Here!" A policeman in his thirties stepped forward.

"The scene is handed over to your Criminal Division. You must determine as soon as possible whether it is suicide or homicide. This case is of great importance. Forensic Doctor Qin slowly stood up and looked up, saying, "Chief, the preliminary examination results are in. Aside from the noose marks on the necks of the two bodies, there are no other injuries, bruises, or abrasions!"

"Based on the location, color, and degree of bruising of the noose marks on the neck, it's clear that the victim committed suicide by hanging, not by strangulation from behind. Judging from the livor mortis, the time of death is estimated to be between 9 and 10 o'clock last night!"

After listening to this, Section Chief Yao nodded and said to his colleagues in the bedroom, "Investigate carefully again. If there are no other findings, transport the body back to the bureau for further autopsy!"

"Yes!"

Turning to the corridor outside the bedroom, the police officer in charge of taking statements from the servants, housekeeper, and patrol officers came over to report to Section Chief Yao, "Section Chief, we've already taken statements from the servants, housekeeper, and patrol officers in Director Xu's household.
