Gao E didn't expect her mother-in-law to react so strongly as if her tail had been stepped on.

"Mother, try it too." Gao E handed another bowl to Jiang.

Jiang thought Gao had made a mistake, so she took the jelly and ate it on a bench nearby.

Chen Fansheng quickly finished the bowl and ate the minced meat at the bottom of the bowl. "How is this made?"

"Let my third sister-in-law go." Gao E saw that her father-in-law seemed to have agreed.

"Is there anything wrong with a loving father and filial son?" Jiang said unhappily.

What he was talking about were four fathers and sons, weren't they referring to the Chen family? She felt that her son wouldn't say such a thing.

"Alright!" Chen Fansheng glanced at Jiang with disdain, then turned to look at Gao E. "You're right, but you can't be too inhumane."

Gao E sometimes found it difficult to communicate with them. Both sides could not understand each other's intentions. Even if they said it directly, they would understand it as something else.

"Okay." Gao E agreed.

"You can discuss the rest among yourselves. Your mother and I can't help you with anything right now." Chen Fansheng signaled Gao E that she could leave.

"Also, my sister-in-law is injured and can't move now. She needs to stay here to recuperate for a while." Gao E looked as if she had suddenly remembered something.

"Then let her stay there." Jiang said immediately, "She doesn't need to worry about the family affairs."
