July 16th, Sunday, the Yaowang Valley Zoo is still crowded with people. Moer deliberately chose Saturday and Sunday as the opening time when students do not go to school.

Today, the two teachers, their wife, and the great-grandmother found Mo'er early in the morning and said they were going to stay in the space. After Mo'er put them into the space, he went to the zoo with Li Jun and Li Xiaohu. Li Xiaohu was still wondering where the grandparents had gone so early in the morning.

Because all major newspapers, television stations and radio stations reported the grand occasion of Yaowang Valley Zoo yesterday, the number of visitors today increased instead of decreased.

Seeing that there were too many tourists but not enough staff, Li Zhihe decided to hire some temporary workers. He wrote on the blackboard next to the ticket office: "The park is short-staffed, so we are hiring 20 temporary employees. They will be responsible for guiding tourists and preventing stampedes. They will be provided with work clothes and meals. The salary is 2 yuan a day. Those who are interested can report here. The position will be filled until it is filled!"

Within five minutes, more than a hundred people gathered around, all wanting to do this temporary job.

Li Zhihe picked out 20 strong men from among them, took them to change into work clothes, and then took them to find the old staff of the zoo to take care of the temporary workers.

Around half past ten, Li Moer, who was sitting in the office drinking tea, suddenly felt the whole house shake. She heard a sound like an animal roaring. It was an earthquake, and she ran out of the room in a flash.

But after I ran out, the house stopped shaking, as if it was just an illusion.

Third Uncle Li Zhihe ran over and said, "Mo'er, did you hear that noise just now? All the animals in the zoo are terrified right now, and they're all lying on the ground trembling."

Mo'er walked out and went to the tiger park first. The tourists were collectively petrified. Why did this girl walk to the tiger park? Wasn't she afraid of being mauled to death by the tiger? Under the horrified gaze of the tourists, Mo'er came to the tiger lying on the ground and trembling. She reached out and rubbed the tiger's head back and forth, and said something to the tiger. After a while, the tiger returned to normal, stood up and surrounded Mo'er, rubbing its big head up and down on Mo'er's legs. The action was clearly a coquettish act.

A reporter captured this rare moment. Mo'er calmed down each tiger one by one, then went to the leopard park. Before he could finish walking around the entire park, Xiao Ping and Xiao An showed up.

As soon as Moer saw them, he knew that the earthquake and the scream were unusual. He took them to an empty room and asked, "What happened?"

Xiao Ping said, "A dragon's roar was heard from the Dragon Locking Well in Beixinqiao. There might be something underground, and that unusual movement triggered a 4.5 magnitude earthquake."

Xiao An said: "We can ignore other places, but this is Beijing. If something uncontrollable happens, it will inevitably have a negative impact and bring shame to the international community."

Mo'er was stunned. The earthquake just now was caused by that thing, and it was quite powerful.

Mo'er knew about the Dragon-Locking Well, having heard its legend in a previous life. Beixin Bridge sits at the intersection where the west end of Dongzhimen Inner Street, the east end of Jiaodaokou East Street, the north end of Dongsi North Street, and the south end of Lama Temple Street converge. Beside the bridge stands a temple, within which lies a well, said to hold a black dragon. Legend has it that Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty commissioned Yao Guangxiao to oversee the construction of Beijing. One day, Yao Guangxiao was walking across a bridge at Xizhimen when the sky suddenly changed, a violent storm erupted, thunder and lightning roared, and a black dragon emerged from the water. Fearless and valiant, Yao Guangxiao battled the dragon for hundreds of rounds. Ultimately, the black dragon was defeated, and Yao Guangxiao subdued it in a deep well by the river, chaining it to the well below Beixin Bridge. Thus, the story of "Yao Guangxiao Capturing the Dragon" was born.
