One day, Moer was bored, so he flew a helicopter to search for shipwrecks in the South China Sea. He discovered an island in the waters near Luzon!

The island is full of birdsong and flowers, with lush green forests and a harbor, which is not known whether it was formed naturally or caused by human factors.

She put away the helicopter and flew to the island, intending to explore it.

Arriving at the harbor, she saw many footprints and was puzzled. Is this island often visited?

The island wasn't very big, but the scenery was beautiful. Strolling around was incredibly relaxing. There was even a small freshwater lake. Around nine o'clock, she was thinking about lunch. Oh, right, beggar's chicken! Mo'er entered her space and began preparing the marinade: salt, dried Sichuan peppercorns, angelica root, star anise, cinnamon, and bay leaves.

Ginger slices, apple slices, chives, onions, garlic slices, orange peel, Moutai liquor, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, chicken essence, curry powder, pepper, and thirteen spices!

Then remove the internal organs of the rooster, remove the chicken feet from below the joint of the chicken feet and chicken legs, then remove the chicken head and esophagus, then wash it in clean water, take it out and drain the water, then poke several holes with a toothpick to make it easier to season, and set aside.

Soak three lotus leaves in clean water in advance, remove them and drain them for later use.

Add salt, angelica, star anise, and cinnamon to a dry pot, stir-fry over low heat for two or three minutes, then add peppercorns and bay leaves, continue to stir-fry over low heat for about 1 minute, then take out and put into a blender to crush.

Place the processed chicken in a bowl and evenly rub the chicken, including the abdominal cavity, with crushed pepper and salt, a little Moutai liquor, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, chicken essence, pepper, and thirteen spices. Knead for about 10 minutes, then add curry powder and rub the chicken evenly. Finally, stuff the ingredients into the chicken's abdominal cavity, seal with plastic wrap, marinate for a while, and set aside.

Take out the marinated chicken, wrap it with soaked lotus leaves first, then tie it tightly with cotton rope, wrap it with tin foil, and then smear the tin foil with the mixed mud, about 3 cm thick, finally sprinkle a little water and smooth the mud.

Afterwards, we left the space, found an open space, and got some dry firewood to light. Once the firewood was almost burned, we placed the beggar's chicken on the charcoal fire. After placing the chicken, we added another layer of fire on top to cover the whole chicken and ensure even heating. We roasted it on high heat for about an hour and a half, then slowly roasted it on low heat for another half an hour, and it was ready to be "taken out of the oven"!

Mo'er used a wooden stick to break up the mud, patted off the dirt, then peeled off the tin foil, untied the rope, and removed the lotus leaves. The rich fragrance filled his nostrils.

I grabbed a chicken leg and took a bite. Hmm, it was really delicious. Moer nodded continuously while eating.

After eating and drinking, he buried all the charcoal and chicken bones deep in the ground. He entered the space and washed his hands and face.

She planned to go back to the ship. Her efforts today had been in vain, as she hadn't found the sunken ship. She wanted to go back first and continue searching tomorrow.

After leaving the space and just about to get out of the helicopter, he suddenly discovered that a large ship was sailing on the sea four or five kilometers away from the island.

It turned out to be a large iron boat, more than a hundred meters long. Mo'er was puzzled. What kind of boat was it and what was it doing on the island?

She hid herself well, wanting to see what the ship was doing. Less than an hour later, the ship slowly approached the shore.

Seven or eight strong men got off the boat, some of them carried large plastic buckets ashore, and went to fill water into the freshwater river on the island!
