After Lin Feng and the others successfully escaped from the ruins, they continued their journey towards the town. After several days of traveling, they were exhausted both physically and mentally.

"We are finally reaching a populated area. My legs feel like they don't belong to me anymore." Li San complained as he walked.

Wang Meng snorted: "You are such a spoiled brat, you can't even bear this little bit of hardship."

Ling'er's face was pale, but she still tried to cheer herself up: "Everyone, just hold on a little longer, and you'll be able to have a good rest soon."

Lin Feng thought for a moment and said, "Let's find a place to hide first and see what happens."

Everyone hid behind a big rock and observed their surroundings quietly.

After a while, several figures really walked out of the woods.

"Sure enough, there is someone here!" the eldest brother whispered.

These people were wearing black night clothes and had their faces covered, so their faces could not be seen clearly.

"Who are they? Why are they following us?" Li San asked in a low voice.

Lin Feng did not answer, but just stared at those people closely.

One of the men in black said, "Humph, I finally found you."

Lin Feng stood up and asked, "Who are you? Why are you following us?"

The man in black sneered: "Hand over what you got from the ruins, and I will spare your life."

Wang Meng cursed, "So you're here for the treasure? Dream on!"

The man in black stopped talking and rushed over.

Lin Feng rushed forward and started a fierce battle with the man in black.

On the other side, Wang Meng and his elder brother were also fighting with other men in black.

The man in black quickly disappeared into the woods.
