From an ordinary boy to a legendary god

Chapter 49: Rumors of the Mysterious Ruins

After Lin Feng and Ling Er emerged from the dangerous woods, they arrived at a bustling town. The town was bustling with people, and the cries of vendors rang out one after another.

The two found an inn and prepared to rest up. In the inn, Lin Feng and Ling'er ate their meals while listening to the conversations of the people around them.

"Have you heard? A mysterious relic was recently discovered in a nearby valley." A burly man said loudly.

"Mysterious ruins? Are there any treasures inside?" the person next to him asked curiously.

"I heard that there are endless treasures and powerful magic weapons hidden in it, as well as long-lost cultivation secrets." The man's eyes flashed with excitement.

When Lin Feng and Ling'er heard the news, they couldn't help but look at each other.

"Lin Feng, do you think we should go and take a look?" Ling'er's eyes were full of anticipation.

Lin Feng thought for a moment and said, "Let's find out first. This mysterious relic might not be that simple."

After dinner, Lin Feng asked the innkeeper for more information about the mysterious ruins.

"Sir, that mysterious ruins is not a place you can just go to. I heard that it is full of traps and has powerful guardian beasts. Many people have gone there and never returned." The innkeeper kindly reminded.

Lin Feng thanked the boss and returned to the room to discuss with Ling'er.

"Ling'er, this place sounds dangerous, but it may be an opportunity." Lin Feng said.

Ling'er said firmly: "As long as I am with you, I am not afraid of anything."

The next day, they decided to go to the mysterious ruins to find out. On the way, they met an old man.

The old man was wearing a tattered robe and his hair was gray, but his eyes were very sharp.

"Young people, are you also going to the mysterious ruins?" asked the old man.

Lin Feng nodded and said, "Yes, senior."

The old man sighed and said, "That's not a good place. Most people who go there die there."

Lin Feng said: "Senior, we have already decided."

The old man glanced at them and said, "Well, in that case, I will tell you some precautions. It is said that there is a powerful seal in the ruins that can only be broken by a specific method."

"Thank you for your guidance, senior." Lin Feng said gratefully.

After bidding farewell to the old man, they continued on their journey and finally arrived at the entrance of the mysterious ruins.

There was a thin layer of mist at the entrance, giving people an eerie feeling.

"Lin Feng, I'm a little scared." Ling'er grabbed Lin Feng's arm tightly.

Lin Feng comforted her, "Don't be afraid, I'm here."

They walked into the ruins cautiously. It was dark and damp inside, with strange lights flickering on the walls.

Suddenly, a cold wind blew, and a low roar was heard.

"What is that?" Ling'er turned pale with fright.

Lin Feng gripped the sword tightly in his hand and looked around vigilantly.

At this moment, a huge monster rushed out from the darkness.

The monster was shaped like a tiger, but had a pair of huge wings and flames spewed out of its mouth.

"Be careful!" Lin Feng pulled Ling'er away.

The monsters kept attacking them, and Lin Feng and Ling'er dodged everywhere.

"This is not a solution. We must fight back," said Lin Feng.

"But it's too powerful." Ling'er said.

Lin Feng's eyes were firm: "Don't be afraid, we will go together."

They found the right moment and attacked the monster.

After a fierce fight, they finally found the monster's weakness and defeated it.

"Huh, finally defeated it." Ling'er said while panting.

Lin Feng said: "This is just the beginning. We don't know what dangers are waiting for us later."

They continued to go deeper into the ruins, encountering various traps along the way, but they resolved them one by one with their wit and courage.
