Warhammer: From the Devouring C'tan Fragments

Chapter 72 Battleships and Dreadnoughts

Time passes slowly, and now it is 941K.

Abaddon's Black Legion is preparing for the Thirteenth Black Crusade, a time point when the Galactic Rift has not yet appeared.

This is the tenth year since the art student and his subordinates left the Teda galaxy.

Originally, there was only a huge space battleship in the dim deep space, but now it seems unusually lively here. Next to the battleship is a huge circular space dock with a diameter of one hundred kilometers.

A space battleship was under construction in the space dock. It was an Emperor-class battleship, 15 kilometers long. It carried four super-large lance launchers on its roof, an adamantium ram at its front, and a power field inside the ram, allowing it to easily destroy enemy ships. Inside the ram were four torpedo launchers, and numerous macrocannons and close-in weapon systems were mounted on its sides. A nova cannon sat beneath the ram.

Four cruisers, the cruisers are up to 12 kilometers long, eight frigates, the frigates are up to five kilometers long, and 16 destroyers, the destroyers are up to 3 kilometers long.

(The Warhammer world battleship levels, from low to high, are destroyers, frigates, cruisers, battleships, Glorious Queen-class battleships, and Abyssal-class battleships. The technology for the latter two battleships has been largely lost by the Empire.)

Cruisers and frigates are equipped with far fewer lances and macro cannons than battleships. Each type of warship designed and built by art students is larger in scale and has stronger firepower than its counterparts in the Empire.

These 29 warships are still under construction and it will take another three years before they can be launched. This is the number of warships that the huge space dock can build at one time. However, if you want to build an entire fleet of warships at one time, even with the help of a matter converter, it will take ten years.

On a huge meteorite planet far away from the space dock, a new weapon experiment is being carried out.

On this desolate meteorite land, there are four golden two-legged dreadnoughts that are eight meters tall. They are running at full speed on the earth, testing the various performances of the earth-level dreadnoughts.

The Earth-class Dreadnought is made entirely of adamantine, with a giant adamantine mechanical claw installed on its left hand. The center of the mechanical claw can release a huge plasma torrent to attack the enemy's heavily armored forces.

A six-barrel 75mm heavy Ripper anti-aircraft machine gun is installed on the right hand. Ten space folding magazines are installed on the heavy anti-aircraft machine gun, which contains a total of one million anti-aircraft bullets.

Above the arm is a large-caliber melta cannon, which is connected to the power reactor inside the Dreadnought. It can store and compress the extremely high temperature generated by the power reactor during operation and then launch it towards enemy buildings. The melta cannon can easily penetrate thick adamantium armor.

After the melta cannon absorbs the high temperature generated by the power furnace, it will not cause any harm to the driver inside it, and can greatly protect the driver's safety.

The pilots of the Dreadnoughts are all selected from the healthy Star Marines. The pilots of the Dreadnoughts do not need to put the dying Astartes Space Marines into the Dreadnoughts like the Empire does, and have them endure torture all the time.

The Earth Dreadnought Mech is also equipped with two plasma cannons on its shoulders, which can easily destroy the defenses of the enemy fortress.

The Earth-class Dreadnought Mech also has triple defense, a small void shield generator, a plasma shield, and a stand shield for close protection. It can be said that the Earth-class Dreadnought Mech has been protected to the teeth. The Earth-class Dreadnought Mech is a mobile war fortress that can kill opponents from a long distance, and can also fight the enemy in close combat.

While running, the Earth Dreadnought continued to fire anti-aircraft bullets from its arms, continuously destroying fortresses built by 3D printed robots. These large defensive fortresses were easily destroyed by the powerful firepower of the Earth Dreadnought mecha.

The Earth Dreadnought Mecha ran at a speed of 180 kilometers per hour, rushing towards the enemy like a high-speed locomotive, and some obstacles on the road were directly smashed by the Dreadnought Mecha.

As soon as the four dreadnoughts rushed through the fortress group, they encountered a dozen green-skinned orc Death Dreadnoughts and four Gu Jujis that were more than ten meters tall.

These green orc mechas are all replicated based on the data collected by Gaia during the last war, and their performance in all aspects is exactly the same as when they were driven by the green orcs.

The moment Death Fearless saw Earth Fearless, it poured a large amount of artillery fire at Earth Fearless and launched a death charge at Earth Fearless.

When the drivers of the Earth Dreadnoughts saw this scene, they also controlled the Earth Dreadnoughts to rush forward. Facing the firepower output of more than a dozen Death Dreadnoughts with superior firepower, the four Earth Dreadnoughts activated three layers of shields, withstood the attacks, and rushed towards the Death Dreadnoughts.

The charging speed of the Earth Dreadnought mecha is much faster than that of the Death Dreadnought. After the Earth Dreadnought approached a Death Dreadnought, the huge mechanical claw on its arm grabbed the arm of the Death Dreadnought with the mechanical claw, and pulled it outward with force. One of the mechanical arms of the Death Dreadnought was directly pulled off, and the Death Dreadnought's body was also unstable.

The Earth Dreadnought quickly seized the opportunity and fired the melta cannon in his right hand directly at the Death Dreadnought's cockpit. With a flash of fire, the Death Dreadnought's chest was easily pierced, and the still struggling Death Dreadnought completely stopped moving.

After destroying one Death Dreadnought, the Earth Dreadnought continued to rush towards another Death Dreadnought. While running, the anti-aircraft gun in his right hand fired madly at the Death Dreadnought. In just a dozen seconds, the Death Dreadnought's void shield was overloaded.

The melta cannon in the hands of the Earth Dreadnought was still in the cooling period. The plasma cannons on his shoulders fired two consecutive plasma cannons at the Death Dreadnought. The Death Dreadnought had no time to dodge and was hit continuously by the plasma cannons. The first two plasma cannons directly destroyed the stance shield, and the last two plasma cannons directly melted the Death Dreadnought into a pile of molten iron.

After the Earth Fearless eliminated the last Death Fearless in close combat, it faced the 15-meter-tall Leo Ku. Facing Leo Ku was not as easy as it was when it eliminated the Death Fearless. It could only rely on its own agility to fight Leo Ku in close combat, slowly breaking Leo Ku's defensive shields one by one. After breaking Leo Ku's defensive shield, the Earth Fearless relied on its powerful firepower output to completely destroy Leo Ku, but the Earth Fearless also suffered some minor damage.

"Huh, finally got rid of these troublesome guys."

A Star Space Warrior in the Earth Dreadnought looked at the completely scrapped Leo Ku and couldn't help but heaved a sigh of relief and said, fortunately, this experiment did not bring shame to the Lord of Stars.
