Chapter 480 Gene Seed Cloning
Nak reached out to stop the researcher, his face full of curiosity.
"Is Dean Wells busy with research right now? If so, what kind of research project is Dean Wells working on? Can we go over and observe it in person?"
Upon hearing this, the researcher lowered his head to check the personal terminal in his hand, then raised his head and replied:
"Dean Wells is currently conducting research on gene seed cloning, but the good news is that the experiment has been successfully completed."
The researcher then turned his gaze to Tiberus and his group standing behind Nak. He frowned slightly, looking embarrassed.
"Captain Nak, you certainly have the authority to visit, but... they don't seem to have the necessary permission, so I'm afraid it will be difficult for them to enter the laboratory."
When Nak heard that Dean Wells was conducting research on cloning gene seeds, the corners of his mouth couldn't help but rise slightly, revealing a happy smile.
He then looked down at the researcher and said, "These cloned gene seeds were originally prepared specifically for them, so it's no problem to have them go and watch together.
I will personally lead them there to observe Dean Wells's research results. Is that okay?"
After hearing what Nak said, the researcher paused for a moment before giving up his objection and readily nodded in agreement.
"In that case, Captain Nak, I'll leave you with your care. With you leading the team, I'm sure nothing will go wrong. Dean Wells is currently in Laboratory A103."
"Thank you!" Nak nodded to express his gratitude.
Nak slowly turned his head and his eyes fell on Tiberus and others who were not far behind him. He raised his eyebrows slightly, a faint smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and then raised his eyebrows slightly at them.
"Everyone, are you interested in going with me to see Dean Wells' latest research findings?"
Upon hearing Nak's question, Tiberus and others showed surprise.
"Of course!"
“It’s just what I wanted!”
As early as when Nak was communicating with the researchers, Taberos and others had learned from the conversation that this laboratory had successfully developed cloning gene seed technology.
The key factor restricting the growth and development of various Astartes Chapters has always been the scarcity of gene seeds and weapons and equipment.
According to Imperial regulations, each chapter can only have a maximum of one thousand Astartes Space Marines, and the remaining precious gene seeds will be ruthlessly taken away by the Martian Mechanicus.
It is precisely because of such strict restrictions that the Imperium of Man is able to maintain a firm grip on these powerful but limited Astartes Chapters.
However, the situation is different now. Since Tiberus and others chose to join the camp of the Lord of the Stars, the scale of each battle group has been greatly expanded, and the upper limit of the number of people has been directly increased to 3,000.
So when they learned that the technology of cloning gene seeds had come out, how could they not be very interested in it? As long as they had the gene seeds, their regiment would reach the full strength of 3,000 people.
"Captain Nak, can I...can I come with you?"
The Raptor's Librarian, filled with anticipation and trepidation, respectfully asked Nak a question. His voice trembled slightly, clearly unsure of his permission.
Prior to this, the Raptor Regiment had experienced an extremely brutal battle. In the confrontation with the Star Army, they suffered heavy losses and several senior officers were killed.
When the battle situation was clearly unfavorable, Dalaran made a prompt decision and led the remaining Space Marines of less than 200 people to resolutely surrender to the Star Space Marines.
Now the entire Raptor Regiment is actually under the command of the think tank in Dalaran.
Hearing Dalaran's question, Nak slowly turned around, his eyes first falling on the think tank. After staying for a moment, he swept his eyes over the other chapter leaders present one by one.
Although these people's strength is far inferior to that of the former Tiberus, Argento and Azrael, they are all commanders of their respective regiments after all, and have a certain prestige and status in their teams.
Later, with the help of the Star Space Marines, these regiments were rebuilt and were almost entirely commanded by these people.
After a moment of contemplation, Nak nodded slightly, then waved to the commanders: "In that case, then all of you should follow us!"
In any case, these commanders of various chapters should be allowed to participate, even out of basic courtesy and respect.
Seeing that Nak agreed to his request, Dalaran's face suddenly showed joy. He hurriedly bowed deeply to Nak and nodded respectfully in response:
"Thank you, Captain Nak!"
"Thank you, Captain Nak!"
Nak took the lead and walked towards the A103 laboratory, and behind him followed closely eight leaders from different chapters, including Dalaran.
When Nak walked steadily to the tightly closed door of the A103 laboratory, he heard a slight sound of air flow.
"Squeak!" Immediately afterwards, the heavy metal door slowly opened to both sides. Nak, followed by Tiberius and the others, walked straight into the laboratory.
In the laboratory, several researchers in white work clothes were busy surrounding the central area. In the center of the group, a middle-aged man with medium build and glasses was particularly eye-catching.
The spotless white robe he wore seemed to symbolize his supreme authority in this field.
The moment the sound of the door opening reached his ears, the middle-aged man suddenly raised his head as if by reflex and quickly turned his gaze towards the door.
When he saw that it was Nak, the middle-aged man's expression instantly became relaxed and happy. He gently put down the delicate, transparent glassware in his hand, his movements as gentle as if he were handling a rare treasure.
His slightly weathered face, filled with a warm smile, greeted Nak, and at the same time quickened his pace and walked towards where Nak was.
Before he even got close, the middle-aged man couldn't wait to ask, "Captain Nak, did you finally bring the experimental materials we desperately need this time?"
Faced with such a question, Nak couldn't help but frown slightly, and the corners of his mouth twitched involuntarily.
He looked at Wells helplessly and speechlessly, then took a deep breath and corrected him in a serious tone:
"Dean Wells, please be careful with your words. They are not experimental materials, but Space Marines who have come to undergo physical enhancement surgery."
