Warhammer: From the Devouring C'tan Fragments

Chapter 407: Siege of the Green-skinned Orc Warship

"Attack those damned green-skinned orc warships! Make sure to wipe out all those ugly and dirty green-skinned orcs first! Once they are dealt with, the remaining weak and incompetent Imperial Navy will be nothing to fear!"

Orphisk stood on the command platform, his eyes fixed on the real-time images displayed by the huge auspicious array in front of him, and roared at the mutant captain at the top of his lungs.

His hideous and distorted face looked even more terrifying under the flickering light.

"Yes, great Lord Orpheus!" The mutant captain did not dare to be negligent and responded loudly and respectfully.

He skillfully maneuvered the powerful battle barge like a ferocious beast, rushing towards the dilapidated, rusty green-skinned orc space wreck in the distance at an astonishing speed.

At the same time, Orphisk quickly turned around and cast his cold and ruthless gaze at another Night Lord Space Marine beside him:

"Namino, I now order you to lead the other members of the warband to the planet Zesta immediately and do everything you can to seize all the weapons and equipment stored there! Remember, we urgently need these supplies to replenish our combat power!"

"Understood!" Namino nodded without hesitation, then turned and strode away, ready to summon his men to carry out this important task.

Nano turned and left the battle barge where Orphisk was, and went to lead the remaining mutants and Chaos followers to attack the planet Jesta and seize the weapons and equipment hidden on the planet Jesta.

"Attack the green-skinned orcs' warships."

In the Jesta galaxy, a thrilling war is about to unfold.

Not only the Chaos warband led by Orphisk regarded the Green Orcs as the primary target of attack, but several other Chaos warbands also made the same decision and took the lead in launching an attack on the Green Orcs' space hulks.

Because in the eyes of these Chaos war gangs, only after completely eradicating the alien creatures, the Green Orcs, will they feel at ease to attack the Imperial Combined Fleet.

In their eyes, the war with the Imperial Combined Fleet was just a civil war among humans due to different beliefs.

The instinct to kill alien creatures is deeply engraved in their genes. No matter how serious the conflict with the empire is, it cannot overcome this instinct to kill alien creatures first.

Led by the warband lords, the Chaos Space Marines piloted their assault boats and fighter planes, rushing towards the distant green-skinned Ork warships like arrows.

These assault boats and fighter jets were like lightning across the dark night sky, quickly closing the distance between them and the green-skinned Ork space hulks.

Accompanied by the deafening roar of engines, one assault boat after another and one fighter plane after another approached the green-skinned orcs' space hulk at lightning speed.

They flexibly shuttled through the void, cleverly avoiding various obstacles and intercepting artillery fire fired by the green-skinned orcs.

Once the assault craft and fighters approached their targets, these Chaos Space Marines rushed into the interior of the Space Hulk without hesitation, launching a brutal and bloody decapitation operation.

Hundreds of assault boats and fighter jets swarmed into the space wreck like a dense swarm of ants.

They carried endless rage and murderous intent, charging straight at the hideous, massive green-skinned orcs. When the two sides engaged in close combat, the sounds of metal clashing, gunfire, and painful howls intertwined, playing a symphony of death and destruction.

At this moment, more than half of the Chaos warships have joined the fierce battle against the green-skinned orcs.

The entire battlefield was ablaze, with giant cannons and spears of light streaking across the galaxy, illuminating the entire void. A suffocating atmosphere of tension enveloped every corner.

Mendeleev stared closely at the holographic projection in front of him, and especially when he noticed that three more Chaos gangs had joined this already chaotic war, his heart was filled with alarm.

He frowned, his eyes narrowed, revealing a subtle worry and doubt:

"Three Chaos Warbands have arrived all at once! This is definitely not a coincidence. Someone must be behind this, deliberately luring these vicious individuals to the Jesta System."

Mendeleev whispered to himself, his tone full of solemnity.

He knew that Chaos warbands had always been independent and rarely gathered together on such a large scale. Unless driven by some powerful force or interests, they would never easily give up their territory and sphere of influence.

And now, within just one day, four Chaos wargangs appeared in the Jesta galaxy. This is really unusual.

Mendeleev fell into deep thought, his brain working rapidly, trying to sort out this complicated situation.

Normally, without human intervention, even if a Chaos warband occasionally passed through this area, it would only be one at most. However, the current situation was completely beyond the normal range, and there must be a huge conspiracy behind it.

What puzzled Mendeleev even more was that after arriving, these Chaos war gangs did not engage in fierce fighting as usual, killing each other to the death.

Instead, they seemed to have reached some kind of tacit agreement, sending more than half of their warships toward the planet of Zesta. They also continuously sent large numbers of mutants and evil god believers into the planet's interior, clearly heading for a specific target.

Faced with such a bizarre situation, Mendeleev dared not take it lightly. He knew he had to quickly uncover the true purpose of these Chaos warbands' arrival in the Jesta system and the mastermind behind them in order to resolve this imminent crisis and protect the safety of the Jesta system.

Although the Star Navy warships cannot enter the subspace, they can do nothing even if they know who the murderer behind the scenes is.

But as long as we know who is behind all this, we will at least be on guard against them and will not let their conspiracy succeed so easily.

"No matter how many evil spirits come, I have nothing to worry about. I am confident that I can lead the Star Space Marines to kill all of them."

Kanas chuckled and comforted Mendeleev.

"Furthermore, these evil god's lackeys have different beliefs, so it's impossible for them to truly unite. It's only because of the green-skinned orcs, the false emperor's lackeys, and us that these evil god's lackeys are prevented from fighting each other."

Kanas continued to add to Mendeleev.

"I believe in the strength of you Space Marines. I'm wondering who is behind all this? What's the purpose of attracting so many Chaos Space Marines to the Jesta system?"

Mendeleev looked at Kanas with a smile and spoke to confirm Kanas's words.
