Quick Wear: Domineering System on Your Own

Wu Fei coughed shyly, then focused intently on the room descriptions. There were seven of them, six men and one woman. After some discussion, they decided to book three double rooms and one single.

After Wu Fei informed Lingjiu of this request, Shi Lu stepped forward and said, "Next, I will lead you to visit the room. Please come this way." He gracefully made a "please" gesture and led everyone steadily towards the elevator.

Shi Lu first led them to a single room on the third floor. Stepping out of the elevator, they were met by a seemingly endless corridor. The space was so spacious that five adults could walk side by side without feeling crowded. This hotel was truly strange, and the same question crossed everyone's mind.

Shi Lu led them to the door of a room and let them in smoothly by scanning their faces. The moment the girl saw the neat sheets and bedding inside, as well as the single sofa and TV, she immediately rushed in excitedly.

"Wow! There are clean sheets, and there is also a water dispenser and a TV!" Her clothes were very dirty at the moment. Although she was full of surprise, she did not go forward to touch them. She just stood aside quietly, watching intently.

The other members of the team were equally shocked that in this doomsday, this place could still be kept so clean and tidy!

One of the team members walked into the bathroom to see if there was clean water. He gently turned on the faucet, and clean water immediately flowed out. His eyes widened, and he quickly turned off the faucet. Then he shouted to the team members outside, "Come and see! There's clean water here!"

Wu Fei was the first to react and walked quickly into the bathroom: "You said the water here is clean?"

He was worried that the captain wouldn't believe him, so he took the mouthwash cup on the sink and filled it with water.

Shi Lu walked into the bathroom and explained, "The water in our hotel is not polluted. If you want to drink it, it's best to use the water in the dispenser. After all, drinking washing water is not very elegant."

Shi Lu smiled and said, "Okay, now we can go to the lobby on the first floor to handle it."

He led everyone out of the room. Along the way, he introduced the hotel's facilities: "The first floor has a food court and general merchandise area where you can buy supplies; the second floor has a 24-hour restaurant; and the third floor is the leisure area, which features a gym, billiards hall, KTV, library, and other entertainment options."

The more Wu Fei listened, the more his brows furrowed. Finally, he stopped and asked, "Who exactly is your boss?"

Shi Lu still kept smiling: "Our boss is just a beautiful woman with a kind heart."

Wu Fei was stunned. He didn't expect such an answer. He continued to ask, "How much supplies does she have?"

Shi Lu replied: "It is inexhaustible and can be used endlessly."

"Can it feed a country?" Wu Fei said this for some reason.

Shi Lu's smile deepened, and the look in his eyes was filled with meaning: "More than enough."

Amidst everyone's shock, Shi Lu led them back to the hall. Having completed her mission, Shi Lu nodded to Ling Jiu. Seeing their performance, Ling Jiu knew her mission was accomplished.

She simply wanted them to pass the news on to the higher-ups at Hope Base so they could reach a cooperation agreement. She wasn't worried about anyone else finding out she had an endless supply of supplies; she even hoped a few troublemakers would show up, giving her some entertainment in this apocalyptic world.

After Wu Fei took the card and entered the food area, he saw a wide variety of food and completely believed Shi Lu's words. He didn't care what his boss's purpose was. Since she had so many supplies, their country had hope. Now it was getting late, and he had to hurry back to the base early tomorrow morning to report the matter.

After Lingjiu returned to her room, she placed the crystal core in water. Instantly, the impurities vanished without a trace. She gently picked up the core and carefully wiped it clean. Then, under the light, the core shone with an exceptionally bright glow. A flicker of joy crossed Lingjiu's face. "It can indeed purify." Then, humming a cheerful tune, she walked lightly up to the first floor.

When Lingjiu arrived at the first floor, Shiyi and the others were still standing at the door, including Shixi. Lingjiu walked straight up to Shixi, stuffed the crystal core into his hand without saying anything, and said, "Eat it."

Shi Xi looked at the crystal core in his hand. His aura had vanished completely. Although filled with doubt, he swallowed it without hesitation. The crystal core instantly transformed into liquid. After swallowing it, Shi Xi immediately felt a subtle shift in his body. The feeling was indescribable; it felt like a vague, almost unnoticeable difference.

Lingjiu looked at him and asked casually, "Are you tired?"

Shi Xi mistakenly thought Ling Jiu was asking him if he was tired from work, so he immediately adjusted to his best state and quickly replied, "No."

Lingjiu narrowed his eyes slightly and said with a hint of ridicule: "Little zombie, you're exposed."

Shi Xi's expression changed drastically upon hearing this, but he quickly adjusted his mood and pretended not to hear clearly, then asked, "Boss, what did you say?"

Lingjiu raised the corner of his mouth slightly and said slowly, "You haven't eaten or drunk anything all day, and it's already two in the morning, and you're still so energetic. You're in really good health, little zombie."

Shi Xi cursed himself inwardly for being careless. His brain began to work frantically, and he hurriedly said, "Shi Yi and the others also had nothing to eat or drink. I learned this from them."

Lingjiu laughed and asked, "When did I ever say they were human?"

Shi Xi immediately exclaimed: "What? They are not human!" His face was full of disbelief, his eyes wide open, as if he had heard shocking news.

Shi Wu turned his head and said with a pout: "What are you howling about! You talk as if you are a human being."

Shi Xi opened his mouth and said, "I, I, I..." But he couldn't make any words out for a long time.

After a while, he fell to his knees with a plop, then quickly moved forward, hugged Lingjiu's legs, and began to howl: "Boss, you are not going to fire me just because I am not human, are you? But if Shi Yi and the others are robots, then they are definitely not possible to be produced with the current level of civilization, which means that Ling Jiu and the others are not from here at all.

Shi Xi was filled with doubts. He couldn't understand why Lingjiu and the others, who were so powerful, would come to this dilapidated world to open a hotel. He finally asked the question in his mind.

Lingjiu looked at him seriously and replied slowly, "I came here for you."
