"Hmm, you're not wearing a kimono today either?"

Randou stood at the entrance, looking at his sister in a red dress, and asked in confusion, "For the fireworks festival, we have to wear yukata, right?"

Liuli pinned two golden hairpins on her long hair and turned around in the living room. Her bright red skirt fluttered, lighting up Lan Tang's eyes like fireworks.

"I don't like wearing kimonos. Besides, this skirt matches my brother's tie very well."

Lan Tang finally changed out of his light brown thick windbreaker and put on a dark brown suit with a dark red tie around his neck. Although it still looked thick, it was much better than before.

He didn't know when it started, but he no longer felt the coldness invading from the depths of his soul.

Lan Tang looked at her with gentle and loving eyes, and said with a smile,

"My dear, it is because you are wearing a red dress that I am wearing a red tie."

Liuli threw herself into his arms, and he picked her up and spun her around twice, then she put her arms around his waist. "But I always feel like something's missing."

Lan Tang looked at her with wide eyes, "Are you missing a kiss?"

Liuli looked at him helplessly, "It lacks some decoration. The overall color of the clothes is too dark and looks too serious."

She slipped out of Lan Tang's arms and circled around him twice, like a white kitten circling a ball of yarn, not knowing where to start.

Lan Tang stood obediently where he was, allowing her to observe him carefully.

"There is."

Liuli took off one of her hairpins and clipped it to his tie. "It looks much brighter this way. My brother is really very handsome."

Lan Tang's ears turned red, and he looked at the hairpin on Liuli's hair that matched his own, and said as if nothing had happened.

"And my Adele is the loveliest, most beautiful rose in the whole world."

He stepped back, bent down and held out his hand, "My princess, may I have the honor of having you accompany me on this journey?"

Liuli looked up and saw his golden-green eyes sparkling brightly under the light, so gentle and peaceful that it was unbelievable.

"Of course, only you."

She placed her hand in his, and they walked into the night hand in hand.

……

There were a lot of people at the summer festival, and the crowd was flowing like water. Brightly colored lights were hung in front of shops of all sizes to attract customers' attention.

Lan Tang held Liuli's hand tightly, and then simply picked her up, for fear of getting separated from her.

"Come to think of it, there are only Adele and I participating in this fireworks display, right?" Lan Tang asked seemingly indifferently.

Liuli suppressed her laughter and looked down at him, "There are so many people here, when did it become just the two of us?"

"Even if six billion people in the world appeared before me, I would only see you, Adele."

"No sweet talk allowed."

Liuli gently bumped his forehead against his, and Lan Tang's beautiful pale profile came into view. He smiled and said in a matter-of-fact tone,

"But what I said was sincere. To me, Adele is more important than the six billion people in the world combined."

"As long as you're here, you're the only one I'll see."

"So," Lan Tang said, returning to the original question. His voice was soft and slow. "Today is just for Adele and me, right?"

Looking at Lan Tang's expectant eyes, Liuli couldn't help laughing. She hugged Lan Tang's neck and said, "Yes, a world for two."

"No Mr. Detective?"

"No."

"No Mr. Knight?"

"nor."

"No……"

Liuli leaned over and rubbed her cheek against his soft hair. "No, no, nothing at all."

"Just me and my poet."

"there's only us."
