"Hao Yang!" I screamed, clutching his hand tightly, my fingertips practically digging into his flesh. Debris rained down from above, numbing my scalp. The thick dust choked me, making it nearly impossible to breathe. My vision was blurry, and all I could see was Hao Yang's terrified eyes.

Behind us, there was a deafening roar. We looked back and saw that the original stronghold had completely collapsed and turned into ruins.

We escaped!
