Chapter 102: The Spiritual Pearls Out of Order and Disasters

The disorder of the spirit beads brings disaster

An intense burning sensation emanated from my chest, as if something was about to explode. I looked down and saw that the previously warm and smooth spirit pearl now glowed with a dazzling white light. A powerful and chaotic force gushed out of it, like a wild horse running uncontrollably.

This force didn't repel the enemy as I'd imagined; instead, it disrupted our clan's defensive formation. Our previously well-organized defense system crumbled in an instant, as if ripped apart by an invisible hand. Panic seized the clan members, tossed about by this chaotic force, and our already precarious defenses collapsed completely.

"What's going on?" I fought back the excruciating pain in my chest, trying to control the spirit pearl, only to find it, possessed, completely unresponsive. The pearl spun furiously, its light growing increasingly dazzling and violent. My body trembled violently, as if it would be ripped apart by this force at any moment.

"Yao'er!" Hao Yang rushed to my side anxiously and supported my shaky body. "How are you?"

I gritted my teeth, shook my head, and tried to concentrate, trying to communicate with the spirit pearl. In the past, the spirit pearl and I were connected by heart, and I could control its power at will, but now, it was like an enraged child, completely ignoring my calls and releasing its energy even more unscrupulously.

"What the hell is going on?" Hao Yang paced back and forth anxiously, watching me in agony. He wanted to help me, but he didn't know where to start. He could only watch me being tortured by this power.

The screams, cries of killing, and the roar of the spirit beads all around me intertwined into a chaotic wave of sound that assaulted my eardrums. I felt my consciousness begin to blur, and everything before my eyes became distorted.

At this moment, I felt a strong suction coming from the direction of the spirit bead, as if something was trying to suck me in. I desperately tried to break free, but found that my body was no longer under my control and was floating in the direction of the spirit bead involuntarily.

"Yao'er!" Hao Yang reached out to grab me, but only managed to grab a piece of my clothes. The corner of my clothes was instantly torn, and I was pulled closer and closer to the spirit pearl by the powerful suction force.

I felt an icy breath envelop me, as if I were in an ice cellar. The light of the spirit pearl grew stronger and stronger, and my eyes were completely white and I could not see anything clearly.

"No..." I stretched out my hand weakly, trying to grab something, but I only grabbed nothing.

Suddenly, the clamor around me disappeared, replaced by an eerie silence. I felt as if I were in another world, a world full of unknowns and dangers.

Then, I heard a deep and hoarse voice ringing in my ear: "Finally... found you..."

The deep voice echoed in my ears, carrying a chilling chill. The white light faded, and I found myself in a strange space, a chaotic chaos reminiscent of the dawn of time. The burning pain continued in my chest. Though the light of the spirit pearl had dimmed, it still flickered, like a fireball about to explode.

Suddenly, a dark shadow darted out of the chaos and headed straight for me. I instinctively dodged, but the shadow followed me relentlessly. It had no substance, like a thick cloud of smoke, yet it carried a suffocating, oppressive feeling.

"Hand over the spirit pearl!" The black shadow made a hoarse sound, as harsh as the friction of metal.

I clutched my chest tightly and shook my head desperately. The Spirit Pearl is my only support in this world, and I will never give it to anyone else!

The shadow, seemingly enraged by my refusal, attacked even more fiercely. I could only dodge while trying to communicate with the spirit pearl. "What's wrong with you? Wake up!" I called out anxiously in my mind, but received no response. The spirit pearl continued to flicker with an unsteady light, as if it would explode at any moment.

Worse still, as the Spirit Pearl spiraled out of control, I felt a familiar sense of restraint once again, like invisible shackles, binding me tightly. The gears of fate seemed to begin turning once again, pushing me towards the tragic end I had long foreseen. No, I couldn't just accept my fate! I had finally freed myself from the constraints of fate, and I couldn't let it control me again!

I gritted my teeth, swallowing the twin pains of my chest and soul as I desperately dodged the shadow's attacks. Fear, despair, unwillingness... all these emotions mingled together, nearly drowning me.

Just when I was about to give up, the spirit pearl suddenly calmed down. The light stopped flickering and returned to its former warm luster. I was delighted. Could it finally be back to normal?

However, before I could be happy for long, I noticed that the light of the spirit pearl was much dimmer than before, as if it had lost its vitality. At the same time, the black shadow stopped attacking and let out a smug sneer: "Although it's only a part, it's enough..."

It slowly merged into the chaos and vanished. I stood there, stunned, my chest feeling empty, as if I had lost something important. It had actually absorbed some of the power of the spirit pearl! What would happen next?

I looked down at the dimmed spirit pearl in my hand, and a sense of foreboding washed over me. My hands trembled slightly, as if something was about to break through the ground...
