In February 1973, under your guidance, you spent over a month successfully building a two-phase AC generator. You were very pleased to learn that, without your guidance, Faraday had independently discovered the technique of "rotating magnetic field" and improved the generator's structure. A true learner, the generator is now practically ready for use; it just needed a pilot test.

For a noble family, promoting electricity wasn't difficult. Although the world could be illuminated by the Hand of Glory (a talisman made by wrapping and soaking the hand of a hanged person in mandrake, similar to a flashlight) and Lumos, you quickly gained the attention of the headmaster of the magic school, Walpark, after demonstrating the application of electricity and its prospects.

He was an old man who looked a lot like Dumbledore, skilled in spatial magic and a kind person. He immediately rewarded you with a gold credit. Faraday and the others also received 2-3 silver credits. With Walpack's encouragement, a small-scale basic power infrastructure was quickly installed in the school, and streetlights gradually began to light up. This was a major advancement in human technology, and also a prairie fire that dispelled darkness.

In March 1973, amidst your busy schedule, you accepted another bet. The stakes were one gold coin. The bet was naturally made by the legendary Seven Demon Fangs, the school's most powerful student organization. They strictly adhered to the Hero Training Pact. The ones challenging you were the Seventh and Sixth Demon Fangs, a fact you quite admired. They were very principled.

The sixth demon fang is called Aurora, skilled in water-based transformation magic, while the seventh is called Vernon, skilled in manipulating large shurikens with magic. He can easily persuade you to surrender and avoid death with just a word. You'd think he was strong, but he completely crushed them with a single, effortless punch, and then another! No passion at all! Is it really that hard to find a worthy opponent?

You then confiscated a gold coin hidden on the Sixth Demon Fang, bringing your total to three, just one step away from collecting five. But you never expected the day to end in an O. Henry-esque way: you won the fight but lost your life. After training that evening, you were struck by a devastating realization: you'd become stronger, but also balder. (You achieved the milestone: One-Punch Man.)

[In a state of impotence and fury, you blamed the Seven Demon Fangs for everything. If they hadn't sent people to consume so many of your calories, you wouldn't be suffering from hair loss due to overwork.]

So, the next day, you couldn't contain your rage and headed straight for the enemy's base camp. Facing the tightly closed heavy door to their dormitory, adorned with numerous mysterious red runes that required an unlocking spell to open, you didn't hesitate at all and unleashed your fist.

A large hole opened in the heavy white beech door, and a sharp gust of wind blew the furnishings away. Facing the seven demonic fangs in the room, each with a different expression, you spread your palm, revealing three gold coins. Then, lowering your palm, letting them fall to the ground, you calmly said, "Let's bet! I'm one on seven. If you lose, you take these three gold coins. If you win, I only need two."

Their reaction was calmer than you'd expected. Their leader, First Devil Fang Abel, quickly agreed. But they had to choose the time and place. You agreed without a second thought, now wanting nothing more than to fight this group.

The final date was set for three days later, in the school auditorium, with Principal Walpack himself as the witness. Looking at the murderous look in his eyes, you understood his intention: he wanted to kill you. These more formal fights were usually life-or-death, with witnesses responsible for stopping and pausing the fight at any time. As a Grand Mage of the Space Department, Walpack undoubtedly had the ability to do so.

Three days passed in a flash. On April 1973, 4, as promised, a one-on-seven battle began. The first demon fang, Abel, was a third-tier mage with the ability to manipulate puppets. The second demon fang, Abiss Reiser, possessed vector acceleration, a tremendous speed, even capable of teleportation. The third demon fang, Worth Marder, possessed mud, a second-tier magic, Mud Demon... They were formidable, launching a torrent of attacks at you from the outset. Strange lines stretched towards you, and you felt your body solidify. A puppet formed of mud staggered towards you, terrifying, but you had no patience to wait for everyone to attack you. You rushed forward, throwing punches, and with a series of ordinary punches, the sixth and fourth demon fangs, bearing the brunt of the blow, were instantly obliterated into thin air.

When you charge at Abel again, his expression freezes. He immediately uses puppet magic, summoning puppet strings to block your attack. But you immediately knock him back ten steps, spitting blood. As expected of a third-tier mage, he survived a single blow. This is the kind of opponent you want!

Your blood finally boiled over, and without hesitation, you swiftly moved forward, ready to strike a powerful blow. But Abel decisively raised his hands in defeat. Then, Principal Volpark used spatial magic to teleport the five remaining survivors out of the arena, nearly scaring you to death.

Everyone was stunned, including Principal Walpack. He'd only known you as a scholar devoted to "science," but he hadn't expected you to be so powerful, perhaps even as skilled as himself. When he asked you what your inherent magic was, you calmly replied, "My inherent magic is physics."

[After this victory, you have earned all five gold coins, which means you have become the most outstanding student in this magic school and a candidate for Divine Awakening. This requires you to keep these five gold coins until the end of the school year.]

Actually, this isn't a problem for you anymore. The Seven Demon Fangs are already the top contenders in this magic school. No one dares challenge you anymore. Your only regret is that you haven't found a qualified opponent. You still wonder, is this the limit of the world's top combat power? I hope the candidates from other schools won't disappoint you!

From April 1973 to January 4, during the remainder of the academic year, you led your research team in completing further research, inventing the AC transformer power supply system and improving transformers to meet industrial and civilian needs. Various electrical appliances and motors were subsequently developed and first put into use at Easton School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After nearly a year of renovation, the area surrounding Easton School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is now almost entirely electrified. The school's development can be described as rapid.

[At the same time, in another relatively secret laboratory, the first firearm in the wizarding world was quietly produced. Due to the rapid advancement of technology, the standard of this firearm is roughly equivalent to that of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After testing, it can penetrate the shield of a top-tier mage, but it still needs improvement.]

On January 1974, 1, the final selections for the Divine Awakeners began. In the end, the school received five gold coins, along with you and another fire mage named Jeffrey. As a Divine Awakener candidate and the holder of seven gold credits, you received the school's reward. After careful selection, you chose a spellbook containing a vast amount of magic. If you had the chance, you'd still like to fight again, to see if you could escape your Muggle fate. (You received the epic item: The Magic Encyclopedia.)

At the final competition venue, you met Divine Awakening candidates from several other magic schools, particularly Saint Arutz Holy Magic School and Valkis Magic School. Most of them were of mediocre ability, but you were immediately drawn to a familiar-looking figure. He had striking white hair, wore a red and white magic robe, and wore ten rings on his hands. His entire body was shrouded in flames, as if enveloped in a crimson lotus.

He came from Saint Arutz's Holy Demon School, a school known for its absolute justice and adherence to correct moral codes. Strangely enough, he was the only candidate for this school.
