You rode your horse across the metropolis, only to escape in Flushing. Along the way, you encountered a superhero named The Riddler who tried to stop you and arrest you, but you punched him away. You hated The Riddler the most!

In your previous life, you participated in a Holy Grail War in Snowfield and Brooklyn, USA. According to your memories as a Heroic Spirit, the nearest Chinatown should be in nearby Flushing. However, upon arriving in this parallel world, you discovered it wasn't. Even this metropolis isn't the original New York, but rather a city nicknamed "Big Pineapple City," after a jazz singer compared it to a giant pineapple, describing it as a land of gold and opportunity.

There's no Statue of Liberty in the city, just a giant pineapple statue in the center. Flushing is also more chaotic than you might imagine, dominated by three factions: British gangs, Italian gangs, and gangs composed of East Asian immigrants. It's like the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

It's not impossible to rob gangs to get your first pot of gold, but you have your limits. Forget it, let's not get them. After just three alleys, you've been robbed four times. That's about $1400, and your wallet is starting to fill up. (Family Wealth +3)

On September 1972, 9, you spent $17 to rent a house in Flushing, the territory of the British gang, the Queer Gang. They had many super villains, but they were completely outmatched by the other two gangs.

Your first two days here were quite peaceful, but on the third day, you encountered retaliation from the Quiggle Gang. However, they were no match for you. To your surprise, one of them was a young man who looked very similar to you. He was a blond, mixed-race Chinese man, and his name was also Zhou Ning.

The tension wasn't as intense as you'd imagined, and you even sat down to chat. He'd just arrived from Liverpool, and his skills seemed average to you, but from our conversation you could sense he was a very ambitious man who wouldn't stay under someone else's thumb for long.

After a period of understanding, you have a preliminary understanding of this world. This world is full of superheroes and supervillains. In Metropolis alone, there are nearly seventy superheroes and hundreds of villains, which is extremely exaggerated.

To avoid running out of money, you wanted to find a suitable job to support yourself, but without a passport or an SSN (Social Security Number, the equivalent of an ID card), finding a suitable job was impossible. There were directors who wanted to invite you to film, thinking you'd be perfect for a kung fu film, but you had your limits and wouldn't give in to the potential financial gain.

On November 1972, 11, you read a news story in the newspaper: a billionaire named Lex Luthor plans to organize a transcontinental horse race, covering a total distance of 14 kilometers, with a total prize of 5 million US dollars. You are shocked. Isn't this just for you? This is your perfect chance to prove yourself.

The only registration location is in Queens, New York. When you confidently go there, you're told you need a $1200 registration fee and a Social Security number, which makes you a little anxious.

So you decisively crossed the line again. After director Hal Jordan promised you an SSN and a paycheck, your limits were already low. You ended up spending a month playing the supporting role of Robin, while his best friend Oliver Queen played the lead role of Batman. This pseudo-biopic, called "Batman & Robin," was a complete flop. (You earned the achievement: Batman & Robin.)

[However, you did get to know some superheroes in this world. The Robin you played and the Batman played by Oliver are actually real superheroes. They and a hero called the Joker work hard to protect the world.]

On December 1972, 12, before the registration deadline, you finally received the SSN Hal Jordan had promised you, effectively securing legal status in the United States. Notably, at the registration point, you once again ran into Zhou Ning from England, also competing in the horse race, but registering under the name Dio Brando. You also encountered a famous rock star with the long name Bruce Sweetling, Del Wayne. Who knows why a rock star would want to participate in this race?

When registration closed, the race had a total of 8753 participants. It began at 1973:1 a.m. on January 1, 10, from San Diego Beach in San Diego to Trinity Church in Metropolitan.

The championship trophy will be stored in a giant iceberg shipped from Antarctica. The competition organizers will calculate the time it takes for the competitors to arrive in New York City, and the trophy will be transported to the metropolis by train. The iceberg will completely melt the moment the champion arrives in the metropolis. The top-place finisher will receive a $500 million first-place prize and a total of $1 million in private awards.

Changing horses during the race is prohibited; doing so will constitute a violation and result in disqualification. Carrying firearms and other weapons is permitted during the race, and any non-criminal behavior is permitted. Criminal behavior will not necessarily be investigated. So, as you can imagine, the competition for this massive prize money could be quite bloody.

The 6000-plus-kilometer race is divided into nine tracks of varying lengths, each with nine checkpoints to verify runners' rankings, times, and any violations. Additionally, there are countless shortcuts available for runners to choose from, but some of these routes are not necessarily shortcuts; they could lead deep into the desert and potentially lead to getting lost.

Winning runners at each stage will receive a "time bonus," which can be used to reduce their total race time. The fastest finisher will be crowned the champion. Therefore, fierce competition will inevitably ensue in each stage to secure this "time bonus."

You have a different perspective on this. As an experienced rider, you don't deliberately seek a time advantage. If the horse runs out of energy during this phase, it's likely to crash in the next stage. This is true even for the otherworldly horse you're riding.

Soon, it's January 1973, 1. In San Diego, you meet a number of the competitors. There are five seeded competitors: Jonathan Joestar, a talented rider also from England; Barrett Allen, a farmer and renowned cowboy known for his swift riding skills; rock star Bruce Wayne; Jonathan Brooke, a dentist with countless amateur experience; and even the renowned superhero Jackie the Joker. What's his reason for participating in this competition?
