July 2021, 7. You still overestimated the integrity of those Japanese. Their resistance lasted less than three hours. Many people, as if the previous gods had never existed, actively leaned towards you, willingly worshipping you with large amounts of incense and food. Pah, the stink.

Although the original incarnation of this body was a god, its soul has been dulled over the long twelve thousand years, its memory eroded, and only a tenth of its memories of the divine realm remain. According to the Japanese, the divine realm, Amaterasu Jingu, has ten main gods and approximately eight million wild gods.

Eight million wild gods... In my previous life in the Heavenly Palace, the Jade Emperor recognized me, the Heavenly King followed me, the twenty-eight constellations feared me, the Nine Stars officials were terrified of me, the city gods of prefectures and counties knelt before me, the Eastern Peak and the Heavenly Gods terrified me, ten generations of Yama Kings served as my servants, and the five rampant gods were my juniors. You want to see what these eight million little gods are really like?

According to the guide, the ten main gods are the first generation of the seven generations of gods, Kunitachi no Tatezun, who opened up the divine realm; Ame-no-mikado no main god, Takao-kun reikage, and Kam-kun reikage, who first appeared after the formation of heaven and earth; followed by Amaterasu Omikami, the core main god of Shintoism, her brother Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, and Susanoo, who is said to be the most powerful of the Amaterasu pantheon.

"Honestly, you didn't remember any of their names, but this wild god, who claims to have eight million, actually piqued your interest. To be able to support so many gods, there must be a lot of good things!"

On July 2021, 7, with a few guides, you traveled all over Japan. Though the country is small, it boasts two divine realms. Besides the Amaterasu Jingu shrine, there's also the Yomizu Hirasaka shrine. Its principal deities are Izanami and her sons, the leaders of the Yomizu demons. These include: large thunder, fire thunder, black thunder, demolition thunder, yellow thunder, earth thunder, thunderous thunder, and hidden thunder.

The end result was that you spent two days killing your way back and forth, becoming a nightmare for the Japanese gods of this world. You couldn't even tell who was the mother goddess in Japanese mythology, or Izanami, the goddess of the underworld, because they were all so weak.

[Similarly, killing these lesser gods grants you greater power. While they are all relatively weak, they have unknowingly made you stronger and stronger. Although you still have this body, in just two or three days, your abilities are already approaching the peak of the Taiyi Immortal realm.]

In your previous life, you were actually a Taiyi Golden Immortal of the Hunyuan Yiqi realm, your strength comparable to others. The so-called Taiyi refers to immortals who do not belong to the orthodox Taoist cultivation system. Only those who listen to the teachings of Hongjun Daozu and have made great contributions to the Heavenly Dao can be called Daluo. The rest are considered Taiyi Immortals who practice unconventional methods.

[It is precisely because of this that, even though you have achieved the status of a Golden Immortal, you can only serve as a lowly official in the Heavenly Palace, a lowly official who looks after horses. This is a humiliation to you, and the reason why you are so angry that you are causing chaos in the Heavenly Palace.]

You have a hunch that if you continue to grow stronger, you might soon be able to escape this place and return to your original world. You sneer coldly, and then you won't mind causing trouble in the Heavenly Palace again.

On July 2021, 7, you arrived at Amaterasu Shrine, the legendary and most powerful divine realm in Japan. This mythical world, with a weak connection to the surface, is also a parallel world, inhabited by numerous gods and disobedient gods.

Everything in the Divine Realm unfolds according to the developments in mythological stories, repeating over and over again, with each region being unique. The same deity appears in many mythological stories, so the deities portrayed in the Divine Realm are often just clones.

Similarly, many of the mythological stories interpreted here originate from and are performed within consciousness. In Buddhism, there's a saying that twenty "minds" make up a "moment," twenty "moments" make up a "flick of the fingers," twenty "flicks" make up a "loyu," twenty "loyus" make up a "sudden moment," and thirty "sudden moments" make up a "day and night." Sometimes, what seems like an eternity is actually just a blink of an eye. This is the state of affairs in the divine realm.

Here, you see scenes from ancient Japanese mythology. On a floating bridge on the ocean, two gods, a man and a woman, stand there, thrusting a spear into the sea, stirring it, and then lifting it up.

[You know that woman, Izanami, the mother goddess in Japanese mythology. The other one is naturally Izanagi, the father god in Japanese mythology. He is not only the father of the Japanese gods, but also the origin of Japanese mythology.]

They then erected a massive pillar on the island, known as the Pillar of Heaven, and built a palace. Two people walked around the pillar, one to the left, the other to the right. When they met, they began to make love, creating islands one after another. There were eight islands in total, and these eight islands formed the majority of Japan, hence the ancient name for the Great Eight Islands.

After producing their land, they began producing gods, first ten, then eight, and then, in a blink of an eye, eighteen. Even their bodily fluids, hair, and saliva could give rise to gods. It was truly endless! No wonder Japan had eight million wild gods! You had no interest in watching the other person's sexual intercourse. Without hesitation, you pulled the Ruyi Jingu Bang from your ear and struck Izanagi.

[A moment later, the Japanese mythology was unfolding, and Izanami was burned to death while giving birth to Kagutsuchi, the god of fire. In a fit of rage, Izanagi used the Tentsu sword to kill his own son, Kagutsuchi.]

Later, missing his beloved wife Izanami, who had died in childbirth, Izanagi journeyed to the underworld. However, upon seeing her rotting, hideous body, he was filled with nausea and fear, and fled. Exhausted, Izanagi stripped off his clothes and plunged into the middle of a river to wash. Over twenty deities suddenly emerged from his clothes and the parts of his body he washed. As he washed his face for the last time, Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, emerged from his left eye; Tsukuyomi, the goddess of the moon, from his right; and Susanoo, the symbol of riot, from his nostrils.

[At this moment, the ongoing myth came to an end. Facing the sudden blow, Izanagi, who was scrubbing his body in the bath, didn't even have time to utter a scream before you struck him, smashing him to pieces.]

This mythological story came to an end. After four "fingers snapped," all Japanese mythology within the divine realm ceased evolving, and a large number of Japanese mythological gods swarmed in like dense swarms of ants.

[At the head of the group is a goddess whose radiance shines brightly on the sky and on either side of her are the moon deification Tsukuyomi and the rough and wild-looking Susanoo.]

They each held a divine artifact that looked dazzling, including several swords and a mirror. The eight million wild gods surged towards you from all directions like a tide.

[At this moment, you feel like the whole world is your enemy.]

Having once wreaked havoc in the Heavenly Palace, you were no stranger to this situation, and instead, a surge of pride filled your heart. Facing this situation, you, wearing a phoenix-wing purple-gold crown and chain-link gold armor, hefted the Ruyi Jingu Bang over your left shoulder. Without panic, you plucked a handful of hair from your body, spread your fingers, and blew on it.

[One you, two you, countless you rushed forward, wielding the golden cudgel. Then, you waved the cudgel once more and charged into the group of gods, as if the people ahead were not enemies but a welcoming honor guard.]

Those bizarre, almost inhuman wild gods were like parted seawater, rising up in groups and falling down in groups.

[And so, after who knows how long, you finally stopped, your hands brimming with golden divine blood as you walked towards Amaterasu, who stood there stunned. Then you stopped and snatched the sword and a piece of jade from her hand.]

[If it weren't for the fact that he couldn't display his full strength in other divine realms that weren't his original origin, it wouldn't have taken this long.]

[The next second, Amaterasu turned to ash, and this core deity of the Japanese pantheon also fell.]

[The Kusanagi sword... Yasakani no Magatama... They're useless. You shook your head, crumpled them into a ball, and threw them on the ground.]
