The morning sun shone through the tall buildings, bringing a gentle breeze. Shen Yu arrived early at the company's conference room. On the desk before him lay the newly compiled bidding documents and anonymous whistleblower materials. He took a deep breath and turned to look at Li Jialin, who was standing at the door.

"Is the time set?" Shen Yu asked calmly.

"It has been confirmed that Director Wu, the head of the bidding committee, will arrive at 9 o'clock sharp. We have arranged it in a small conference room on the second floor to avoid attracting attention." Li Jialin replied with a serious look on her face.

Shen Yu nodded and ordered in a deep voice: "Jia Lin, you will receive him personally and make sure he feels our sincerity in this cooperation."

Li Jialin left as she was told. Shen Yu's eyes fell on the report on the table, and a slight sneer appeared on his lips. "Zhao Shufang, what kind of trouble can you possibly stir up this time?"

At 8:55, there was a gentle knock on the conference room door. Li Jialin pushed it open and walked in, followed by a middle-aged man. It was Director Wu from the bidding committee.

"Mr. Shen, this is Director Wu." Li Jialin introduced.

"Director Wu, I've long heard of you." Shen Yu stood up and shook hands with a humble tone and a smile on his face.

Director Wu waved his hands repeatedly, his tone quite polite: "Mr. Shen is a young man to be feared. I have learned a little about the situation of this project. I am impressed by your preparations."

"Director Wu, please give us your guidance." Shen Yu gestured for the other party to take a seat and handed over a project document. "This is our team's latest compilation of technical advantages and implementation plans. I hope to receive your valuable suggestions."

Director Wu flipped open the document, carefully read a few pages, and nodded. "You are indeed sincere. Frankly speaking, your technical advantage is unquestionable. But Mr. Shen, you should be aware of the complexity of this bidding process. Factors beyond technology are sometimes more difficult to control."

Shen Yu's expression remained unchanged, his tone steady. "Director Wu, this is the main point I wanted to discuss with you today. We just received some information that someone is attempting to interfere with the bidding process through improper means. This not only harms our interests, but also undermines the fairness of the entire industry."

As he said this, he handed the report to Director Wu.

Director Wu took it and carefully reviewed it, his expression growing increasingly serious. "This evidence of capital flow... is truly hard to dispel suspicion. I will immediately report this to my superiors to ensure that the bidding process is not disrupted."

"Thank you, Director Wu, for your support." Shen Yu nodded slightly, his tone firm. "We believe that as long as everything is done on a fair and just basis, we will definitely be able to win this project."

After Director Wu left, Shen Yu returned to his office, leaned back in his chair, and rubbed his brows. Li Jialin came in with a cup of hot tea and placed it on the table. "Mr. Shen, it looks like Director Wu is on our side."

"That's the case for now, but it's not enough." Shen Yu picked up the teacup, took a sip, and looked thoughtful. "Zhao Shufang won't give up so easily. Her tricks haven't fully appeared yet."

Li Jialin nodded. "What about Anthony? How is the investigation into the funds going?"

"Zhao Bin has already locked down several key accounts, and the legal department is also preparing the next step." Shen Yu put down his teacup, his expression grim. "However, we can't just rely on legal means. We must completely suppress her on the project."

"Understood. I'll keep a close eye on her," Li Jialin said, then paused and added, "By the way, I just received news that Zhao Shufang will be attending a business summit this afternoon. I heard she might use the opportunity to attract some heavyweight investors."

Shen Yu raised his eyebrows when he heard this. "Business summit? She'll definitely seize the opportunity. Jialin, contact the organizers and arrange an invitation for me."

"You want to go in person?" Li Jialin was a little surprised.

"A head-on confrontation would be more interesting." Shen Yu raised a meaningful smile. "She thought I would just passively respond. This time, I want to see what she has up her sleeve."

At 3 p.m., the business summit took place as scheduled, and the venue was packed. Shen Yu, dressed in a black suit, walked into the venue with a calm demeanor. He scanned the room and, as expected, spotted Zhao Shufang near the center.

Zhao Shufang was chatting with several middle-aged men, smiling politely, but a hint of calculation lingered in her eyes. When her gaze met Shen Yu's, she was visibly stunned for a moment, then regained her composure and whispered a few words to the person next to her.

Shen Yu didn't rush forward, instead casually chatting with a few familiar colleagues, occasionally mentioning Zhao Shufang's "inappropriate behavior." Soon, several investors looked at Zhao Shufang with interest, whispering about her.

Zhao Shufang seemed to sense something was wrong, her eyes were slightly cold, but she still put on a smile and took the initiative to walk towards Shen Yu: "Mr. Shen, what a coincidence, I didn't expect to see you here."

"Boss Zhao," Shen Yu smiled back. "You must be right at home in this situation. After all, communication skills have always been Boss Zhao's forte."

Zhao Shufang narrowed her eyes, her smile tentative, "Mr. Shen's words sound like he's hinting at something."

"Just telling the truth." Shen Yu said in a calm tone. Suddenly, he took a step closer and whispered, "But Mr. Zhao, if you go too far with some tactics, you will have to pay the price."

Zhao Shufang's expression changed slightly, but she still managed to remain calm: "Boss Shen, I don't understand what you are saying."

"It's okay, you'll understand soon." Shen Yu looked at her with eyes as sharp as a knife.

The exchange between the two created a slightly tense atmosphere, but no one else noticed. Shen Yu exchanged a few casual pleasantries with her before turning and heading off to meet another important investor, leaving Zhao Shufang standing there, her fingers clenching the wine glass until they were slightly white.

At the end of the summit, Shen Yu walked out of the venue with steady steps. Li Jialin was already waiting by the car: "Mr. Shen, you're being very high-profile today."

"Sometimes, being high-profile is the only way to suppress the other party." Shen Yu smiled calmly, his eyes looking towards the darkening horizon in the distance. "Zhao Shufang doesn't have much time left."
