"Are you finally here?" The man's voice was low and cold, as if it came from the depths of hell, with an indescribable sense of oppression.

"Who are you?" Lu Lingyuan asked in a low voice. His eyes remained alert, but doubts were already rising in his heart. "Why are you stopping us from approaching the 'Dominator'?"

The man smiled slightly, a hint of mockery in his smile. "'Dominator'? Haha, your ignorance is truly laughable." He shook his head slightly. "Do you think you two can intrude into my territory?"

"Your territory?" Zhao Shufang frowned. "Who are you? Why are you trapping us here?"

The man didn't answer directly. Instead, he chuckled and said, "You're trapped here. Don't you realize it yet? You're just pawns arranged by me. Everything I did was to lead you to this point today."

"Pawn?" Lu Lingyuan frowned, beginning to sense the complexity of the situation. "What do you mean? We're only looking for the 'Master,' and have no other agenda."

"Searching for the 'Master'?" the man sneered. "You are simply being led down a path of no return. You have no idea what you are doing, or your true role in this game."

Zhao Shufang was startled, suddenly realizing that she and Lu Lingyuan seemed to have fallen into a huge conspiracy. She looked at the man with a cold gaze: "Are you manipulating us?"

The man nodded. "Indeed, I am the mastermind of this chess game. You two are merely tools I use to achieve my goal." His smile grew. "I accurately predicted your every move. I led you here... to ensure the smooth implementation of my true plan."

Lu Lingyuan's brows were furrowed, and his hand holding the sword slightly tightened. "What exactly do you want to do?"

"What do you want to do?" The man's smile grew even more sinister. "My target isn't pawns like you, but beings of a higher order. Through you, I hope to awaken an ancient power, a power that can shatter the existing order."

Zhao Shufang's heart skipped a beat, as if realizing something. She lowered her voice and asked, "Are you talking about the 'Dominator'?"

The man's smile faded, his eyes growing penetrating, as if he could see through Zhao Shufang's thoughts. "Do you think the 'Master' you seek is the one who can save everything? No, the Master's true identity far exceeds your imagination."

"Then who is he?" Zhao Shufang asked. Although she already had some guesses in her mind, she still couldn't help but want to confirm further.

The man looked at Zhao Shufang, a complex expression flashing in his eyes. "The 'Master' is supposed to be the source of all this. His power once surpassed all existence. Unfortunately, he is trapped within this void, unable to escape. Your arrival is part of my guidance, to stimulate the 'Master's' power and allow him to reawaken."

"Reawakened?" Lu Lingyuan asked solemnly, "Then why not just wake him up directly instead of using us?"

The man sneered, "You simply don't understand. The awakening of the Overlord requires extremely complex conditions, and you two are exactly the tools I need. I'm simply borrowing your power to free him from this void."

"Don't you feel any regret for what you've said?" Zhao Shufang asked coldly. "You clearly knew the Dominator's power could bring disaster, yet you still wanted to release him."
