"It really works." She whispered, flipping through a document in her hand, which marked several of Yang Qiming's secret bases and some of their secret action plans.

"This is what we need." Lu Lingyuan whispered, "As long as we can get these, Cheng Hui's plan will no longer matter."

Zhao Shufang nodded slightly, then quickly put the documents away and prepared to retreat. However, just as she turned around, footsteps were heard outside the door. Zhao Shufang's heart skipped a beat, and she quickly signaled Lu Lingyuan to stop.

"Someone is coming." She lowered her voice and turned around quickly.

The two quickly hid in the closet, pressed close to the door, held their breath, and waited for movement outside.

The footsteps outside the door gradually approached and finally stopped in front of the room. Zhao Shufang could clearly hear the person gently push the door open, as if checking something.

Time seemed to freeze at this moment, and Zhao Shufang and Lu Lingyuan's heartbeats gradually accelerated. The man's footsteps gradually faded away, but the two still did not dare to make any rash moves.
