God Slayer: Make Up for the Past

A massive figure slowly emerged from the darkness. It wasn't so much emerging as tearing from the dense shadows. A powerful evil aura washed over them, carrying with it the sickening smell of blood and decay. The leader of the evil spirits had finally appeared.

It was enormous, over two meters tall, covered in black scales that gleamed like metal. It possessed a ferocious, terrifying face, its crimson eyes like two burning flames, emitting a chilling light. Its sharp claws, like steel knives, gleamed with a cold gleam. The air around them seemed frozen, filled with a suffocating fear. Chu Feng felt an unprecedented pressure, as if a mountain were pressing down on his chest, making it nearly impossible to breathe.

"Is this... the leader of the evil spirits?" Pan Yue's voice trembled a little, and the hand holding the weapon tightened unconsciously.

Chu Feng did not answer, but just stared at the monster in front of him. The demon-slaying sword in his hand hummed, as if he was eager to fight.

The evil spirit leader let out a deafening roar, the sound waves spreading like a substance, shattering the surrounding glass. Even more terrifying, the roar contained a certain evil power. Some passengers who had been hiding in the corners suddenly had empty eyes, stood up uncontrollably, and rushed towards Chu Feng and Pan Yue.

"Oh no! It has taken control of the passengers!" Pan Yue exclaimed.

Chu Feng's heart sank. He couldn't harm these innocent passengers, but he couldn't let them hinder his fight against the evil spirit leader either. He was caught in a dilemma. More and more passengers were being controlled, like puppets, their eyes empty, their movements stiff, yet with a strange ferocity, they pounced on Chu Feng and Pan Yue.

"Run! Get out of here!" A man reacted and pulled his family around him and ran towards the emergency exit.

Seeing the passengers gradually regain consciousness and begin to evacuate in an orderly manner, Chu Feng's tense nerves finally relaxed a little. He wiped the sweat from his forehead and thought to himself, "Luckily, my bet was right!"

But this was only a brief respite. Outside the broadcast room window, the evil spirit leader roared angrily, shaking the glass. It seemed to be aware of Chu Feng's actions, and its scarlet eyes stared fixedly in the direction of the broadcast room, filled with violence and murderous intent.

He glanced at the surveillance screen. Most of the passengers had already evacuated, leaving only a few still frantically searching for an exit. "No, I have to ensure their safety first!" Chu Feng gritted his teeth and made a decision.

He flipped the switch on the PA system again and shouted into the microphone, "Are there any passengers still stranded in the station? Please proceed to the nearest emergency exit as quickly as possible! We will do our best to protect you!"

At this moment, the door of the broadcasting room was suddenly thrown open. Pan Yue rushed in breathlessly, with an anxious look on his face.

It had a human-like torso, but its skin was like burnt bark, rough and cracked. Its head was hairless, replaced by several twisted bone spurs. Its scarlet eyes burned with a furious fire, a chilling sight.

"Chu Feng!" Pan Yue pushed Chu Feng away and barely avoided the sharp claws of the evil spirit leader.

Chu Feng steadied himself, the Demon Slayer Blade humming in his hand, as if sensing its owner's fighting spirit. "Pan Yue, you're right, the power system is the key!"

The evil spirit leader let out a deafening roar, as if sensing Chu Feng's intention. It swung its claws, and several black energy waves shot towards Chu Feng like lightning.

Chu Feng nimbly rolled to avoid the attack and shouted, "Pan Yue, cover me!"

Pan Yue immediately raised the rune gun in his hand and fired a series of golden rune bullets. Although the rune bullets could not cause substantial damage to the evil spirit leader, they could slightly interfere with its movements and buy time for Chu Feng.

Chu Feng took the opportunity to rush out of the broadcasting room and headed straight for the station's power control room. He knew that was the key to weakening the evil spirit leader.
