Saint Seiya Evil Skull
Chapter 8 The Discovery of Qingcheng Sect
Holding a glass of red wine, Arubelisi calmly walked to the window, pondering where he should go first. First, Longhu Mountain was definitely out of the question, as it and Wulao Peak were both located in Gan Province, too close and too dangerous. So, he'd start with Qingcheng and Emei in the southwest. There were not only martial arts schools but also legendary immortal heroes. If he could learn the art of flying swordsmanship, and use it in conjunction with his Flame Sword, the trip would be well worth it.
So, the next day, Arubelisi embarked on a solo journey to Sichuan and Shu. This time, he chose no means of transportation. After all, the borders hadn't been opened yet, and returning to the interior was a hassle, especially with so many different destinations to travel to, and transportation was extremely inconvenient. Taking a bus or train would have required lengthy transfers, and travel was far slower than walking. Furthermore, buses and trains these days were incredibly uncomfortable. Arubelisi decided not to endure the ordeal. He still had lingering fears recalling the crowded trains he'd squeezed into college.
Alubelisi stood on the top of Taiping Mountain and looked towards the southwest. With a "whoosh", the small figure standing on the top of the mountain disappeared. After all, Alubelisi's strength could reach the speed of sound, and Alubelisi basically moved forward in a straight line. He only asked someone for directions after traveling a certain distance, and then determined the direction based on the map of China in his memory. Fortunately, Alubelisi had a good knowledge of geography before, and many of the memories he had forgotten before could be recalled from the distant memory bank after his soul became strong.
Foreigners are still relatively rare nowadays. People still worship foreign things and this was the case 40 years later, let alone now. Moreover, if something happens to a foreign child somewhere, it could easily trigger an international incident. No one would be so foolish as to target him. You know, human trafficking was still rampant in the underdeveloped southwest regions at that time.
In just a few hours, they arrived at the foot of Mount Emei. Due to their rapid speed, most ordinary Chinese residents were unaware of Arubelisi's arrival. Aside from the occasional person asking for directions, most others could only see a fleeting image, sometimes even wondering if they were hallucinating. Mount Emei at this time wasn't the tourist destination it would become. Having just undergone a revolution, many things were still recovering. Guo Xiang, the founder of the Emei sect in the martial arts world, was the daughter of the great hero Guo Jing. The sect's inherited internal martial arts were the Emei Nine Yang Gong. As the daughter of Guo Jing and Huang Rong, and the granddaughter of Huang Yaoshi, Guo Xiang naturally had access to numerous unique martial arts, such as the Nine Yin Manual, the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms, and the Dog Beating Stick Technique. Furthermore, there were also Peach Blossom Island's Finger-Snapping Magic and the Jade Wave Divine Palm. However, these peerless martial arts techniques appear to have been lost, and no Emei sect member has ever practiced them. The Emei sect in the Shushan Xianxia Legend is even more mysterious. It is a sect dedicated to cultivating immortality, and it is unknown whether any of its traditions have survived to this day.
Arriving at the foot of Mount Emei, Arubelisi flashed and swiftly reached the Emei Sect's headquarters. His expression was serious and calm, a sharp glint in his eyes. He raised his eyebrows slightly. The Emei Sect was indeed in decline now, with only a few members left, and few in number. Arubelisi did not disturb them, but quietly searched for the Emei Sect's inheritance site.
After a careful search, Arubelisi found the Emei Sect's inheritance site in an obscure corner of the inner courtyard. Although the Emei Sect was now sparsely populated, a middle-aged man was still meditating and regulating his breathing within their library. Arubelisi observed him quietly for a while and found that his strength was not very strong.
Suddenly, Arubelisi appeared like a ghost and struck the opponent in the back of the neck with a palm blade, knocking him unconscious. Then, he began searching for the martial arts manuals he needed. After some searching, he discovered that the Emei School had indeed declined. While there were martial arts manuals, they were of little use to a person with extraordinary abilities like him. These manuals, such as the Golden Top Palm, Heavy Hammer, Shrinking the Earth, Hanging Capsule, and Finger Acupuncture, were merely means of strengthening his body and had little effect on improving his strength.
Arubelisi sighed inwardly, his face filled with disappointment. Perhaps the Sect Leader had a better manual, but it wasn't likely much better. He didn't waste any more time, but quietly left, feeling sorry for the decline of the Emei Sect.
He searched every corner of Mount Emei, hoping to find some blessed caves, hidden caves, or some other such place, hoping to have some adventure. However, it was completely different from what was described in the novel. Finally, Arubelixi left Emei in disappointment and headed for Mount Qingcheng.
The most famous figures of the Qingcheng Sect are arguably its diminutive members. Even beyond the distant past, Yu Canghai, who exterminated an entire clan to steal a secret manual, and Zhu Mei, the Qingcheng Sect leader in "The Legend of Swordsmanship," are examples of men with ulterior motives and unscrupulous means. Qingcheng Mountain is not much different from the Emei Sect, but Alubelisi experienced a difficult time in the leader's study. He was about to leave in disappointment when he suddenly remembered that the ancients often hid secret manuals in the beams of houses. He looked up and leaped, but accidentally leaped too high, nearly breaking through the roof. Fortunately, he grabbed the beam in time, avoiding embarrassment. Just as Alubelisi was feeling somewhat embarrassed, he stumbled upon a package on the other side of the beam. This overjoyed him, as if a ray of light had suddenly appeared in the darkness. Even if there is no unique magic or secret manual in this package, it can at least make him excited.
Albelisi flew over to pick up the package, then dropped it with a "bang". Fortunately, there was no one around. The West pays too much attention to opening and closing, and the speed is really fast, but there is still room for improvement in the details.
"It seems I need to find a book on light skills to practice, otherwise it will be too embarrassing." Albelisi thought.
After opening the package, there were several very old books inside. Fortunately, Albelisi knew traditional Chinese characters, otherwise it would have been really troublesome. He carefully looked at the secret books, which included Songfeng Sword Technique, Destroying Heart Palm, and Qingzi Nine Strikes.
Songfeng Sword Technique, the unique martial art of Qingcheng, is as strong as pine trees and as fast as wind.
The Heart-Destroying Palm can break the victim's heart into seven or eight pieces and cause death. This move was used to kill many bodyguards from the Fuwei Escort Agency.
The nine attacks of Qingzi use the unique weapon "Leigonghong" in combination with different hidden weapons.
These martial arts might not be particularly powerful, but they were perfectly suited for his current use. Songfeng Swordsmanship was clearly a swift sword technique, perfectly complementing the Flame Sword. This would greatly increase his attack speed, making it difficult for his opponent to resist. The Heart-Destroying Palm could be used to ambush his enemies, especially those invincible cockroaches, by shattering their hearts. Even with Athena's resurrection ability, it would be a heavy price to pay. As for the Qingzi Nine Strikes, it was a method of using a concealed weapon. He had previously considered using the Devil's Amethyst as a concealed weapon. That way, the damage would surely be immense. Moreover, even without the corresponding weapon, mastering the appropriate technique would be sufficient. Thinking of this, Albelisi felt a surge of pride, feeling that his trip to Qingcheng had been truly worthwhile. Not only had he obtained the coveted martial arts manual, but he had also gained some precious items.
So, he decided to return to the Peninsula Hotel to digest his gains before making any plans. With that, Albelisi left the study, closed the door, and "flew" towards the Peninsula Hotel at an astonishing speed. That's right, "flew," the speed was practically indistinguishable from flying, and he disappeared into the distance in the blink of an eye.
