Saint Seiya Evil Skull
Chapter 57: East and West 2 (Part )
one year later.
The middle and high-level divine warriors of the Asgard practiced hard under the stimulation of having combat suits. In the past year, several of them broke through the sixth sense and became the new S-level divine warriors of the Asgard. They were qualified to use combat suits and received new combat suits at the Asgard's forge.
The current forge is no longer just a cave with four forging furnaces. Asgard is not short of that little money. At Albelisi's suggestion, our Queen Hilda readily approved the forge construction plan.
The new forge is divided into two parts. One is the forging area, which is the former cave, but it has been reinforced, expanded, and modernized to a certain extent. In addition, new forging hammers have been replaced according to the forging habits of Hagen and others. The new forging hammers are stronger, more durable, and more suitable for users to use.
One area is the office area, located on the outskirts of Yasgart. Near the forging area, a new three-story office building has been constructed. With three floors above ground and two floors underground, the building boasts a modern and well-designed design. The ground floor serves as the forging's reception hall, a comfortable, spacious, and bright space.
In order to provide high-quality service to the forge, they specially recruited several family members of combatants to serve as receptionists. This not only ensures the quality of service, but also allows these family members to participate in the work and achieve mutual development. This approach can be said to kill two birds with one stone, not only meeting the needs of the forge, but also solving the employment problem of some personnel.
In the reception hall, applicants for combat suits must first present a certificate of strength recognition and identification issued by the Asgard Warrior Committee. The authenticity of the information will be verified over the phone to ensure the applicant's strength and qualifications. Only those who meet the requirements will proceed to the next stage.
Next, the reception hall was equipped with some simple measuring instruments that could accurately measure the applicant's height, weight, shoulder width, chest circumference, hip circumference, and other data. These data were very important to the blacksmiths, as they helped them better understand the physical condition and characteristics of the divine warriors, thereby creating a more suitable and appropriate battle suit for them.
After the measurements are completed and confirmed, the receptionist will hand the applicant a uniform collection receipt. This receipt contains the personalized uniform number and serves as proof of receipt. Afterwards, the applicant simply waits for notification to pick up their customized uniform at the designated location. This rigorous and orderly process ensures that each uniform is perfectly tailored to its owner.
Similarly, if the combat suit is damaged, it should also be reported here, but a blacksmith will inspect the extent of the damage, determine the working hours, and the cost of the required materials. The other party can provide money or corresponding materials as payment.
The second floor primarily houses the forge's cafeteria, leisure, and audio-visual areas, providing a comfortable environment for rest and entertainment. Considering the forge's suburban location, the receptionists lack supernatural powers and cannot easily navigate stairs. Therefore, placing these functional areas on the second floor allows the receptionists to conveniently find meals nearby, saving valuable time. This reduces the need for frequent trekking, improving work efficiency and demonstrating care and consideration for the staff.
The third floor is dedicated to the blacksmiths, including offices and dormitories. This provides them with a relatively independent and quiet space for work and living. In their free time, they can freely enjoy their own pursuits in their own private space, such as reading, researching, or relaxing. This design fully respects the blacksmiths' individual needs and habits, helping to enhance their work enthusiasm and creativity.
The first and second basement levels house the Forge's temporary storage warehouses. To ensure safety, these warehouses have been meticulously reinforced with steel plates. Here, a variety of commonly used forging materials, essential tools, and other supplies are stored. However, it's worth noting that most of the rare ores are carefully stored in the Asgard warehouses. The Forge only holds a small amount of rare ores, just enough to repair battle suits or craft one or two suits. This arrangement is due to the Forge's lack of security compared to Asgard. As a major resource storage center, Asgard maintains a higher level of security and protection mechanisms to ensure the optimal protection of precious ores.
At the same time, in order to further stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of the blacksmiths, Alberich decided to implement a new grading system. He divided the blacksmiths into four different levels, each representing a certain level of skill and experience.
First up are the first-level forgers, who possess sufficient skills to independently produce standard combat suit parts. Although these junior forgers may not yet fully master the entire combat suit manufacturing process, their efforts and potential for growth are undoubtedly enormous.
Next up is the Second Level Blacksmith, a forger at this level who can expertly craft complete, standard combat uniforms. Not only do they possess a deep understanding of various materials, but they also meticulously grasp every detail during the manufacturing process, ensuring the uniform's quality and performance.
Next up are the third-level blacksmiths, whose skills are even more refined. Not only can they tailor-make combat suits to suit their clients' individual habits and special requirements, but they also possess the ability to repair damaged combat suits. Blacksmiths at this level require even greater skill and experience to meet the diverse needs of the divine warriors.
Finally, there's the fourth-level blacksmith—the Divine Craftsman. However, for now, the Divine Craftsman is more of an ideal. While the level of forging in Asgard is already quite high, even masters like Hagen barely reach the third level, and still have a long way to go before they can forge a Divine Battle Armor. After all, that involves the realm of the gods, a height unattainable for mortals.
Despite this, this grading system provides all blacksmiths with a clear goal and direction for development. Whether they're just starting out or experienced masters, they all have the opportunity to improve their rank and realize their value through continuous learning and practice. For Albelisi, this is also an effective way to motivate team members to make progress together.
In Asgard, forges unable to craft standard battlesuit parts on their own are collectively referred to as forge apprentices. These apprentices have no formal rank and are still in the process of learning and growing. With the advent of battlesuits, the status of forges within Asgard has significantly increased, attracting an increasing number of young forge apprentices to join the forge. Hagen and others are finally freed from the burden of heavy labor and can focus on their own work.
However, it is not easy to become a qualified blacksmith. First of all, you need to have great strength; secondly, it is best to have a small universe with fire attributes so that you can better refine ore. However, in this cold land of Northern Europe, the environment has a greater impact on everyone's small universe, resulting in a relatively small number of small universes with fire attributes. Fortunately, the Asgard has now expanded the scope and number of admissions, which has benefited the forge and enabled it to recruit more apprentices willing to engage in forging work. Despite this, there are still many challenges in cultivating truly outstanding blacksmiths, but as time goes by, I believe that more and more talents will stand out and make greater contributions to the development of the Asgard.
Nowadays, Hagen and his team have delegated some simple ore refining tasks to numerous forge apprentices. These apprentices primarily handle the refining and forging of key components. The reason for this is that by training new people, they can reduce their own burdens, allowing them to relax a little. After all, no one needs a little money, so it's better to invest precious time in training and improving their forge skills.
