Saint Seiya Evil Skull

Chapter 28 Asgard Auction House

Alberich spent half a month leisurely accompanying Hilda and Freya. After that, Alberich gradually got back to work.

Albelis has resigned as Asgard's Cabinet Chief, and Queen Hilda is currently serving concurrently until a loyal Asgard member can be trained. Therefore, Albelis is now primarily responsible for the management of Asgard Academy. Asgard Academy is already on the right track, Albelis has little to worry about. All that remains is to gradually improve the teaching level of the teachers to better cultivate the flowers of Asgard!

To increase Albelisi's responsibilities, Queen Hilda appointed the Vice Chairman of the Albelisi Warrior Committee to oversee its daily operations and assist Queen Hilda in overseeing its overall work. Thus, Albelisi gained a new title, following the title of Chief: Chairman of the Albelisi Committee.

After entering the seventh sense, manas, Alberich's strength had reached a bottleneck, and the things in the world that could help him improve his strength were becoming increasingly scarce. However, as the de facto leader of the Warrior Committee, he was responsible for all Asgardian warriors. His primary mission was to improve the combat capabilities of the Asgardian warriors to prepare for possible future challenges from the Sanctuary. Therefore, in addition to providing the highest-quality training environment and equipment, other methods should be considered, including weapons, medicine, and secret manuals.

Weapons are relatively easy to acquire, as Asgard's warehouses hold a vast collection of medieval lances, swords, and other weapons. Though these weapons have weathered the ravages of time and lack proper maintenance, through modern forging and modification, they can still play a vital role in combat for Divine Warriors below S-rank. Furthermore, some precious divine weapons hold crucial significance even for S-rank Divine Warriors.

Medicine, however, presents a greater challenge. Only rare and valuable medicines of great age can have a significant effect on those with six senses or above. For example, items over a century old, such as ginseng, snow lotus, ganoderma, and red fruit, are extremely rare and difficult to find. These herbs are considered precious medicines, often passed down as family heirlooms or life-saving treasures, and are generally reluctant to use. While obtaining precious medicines of advanced age is difficult, some medicines of common age can still be found. Through long-term internal and external application, certain specialized medicines can repair the damage caused by training, prolong lifespan, and maintain peak performance. This way, even if we lack access to high-grade precious medicines, we can use common medicines to maintain our health and better prepare for future challenges.

To this end, Albelici also sent a message to Fafnir, who was conducting research in Edmond, Canada, asking him to shift his focus to the use of medicine in conjunction with cultivation. This was the first and only task Albelici sent to Fafnir, and it prompted Fafnir, who had been struggling with a lack of research and development goals, to immediately lead the research institute to begin research.

There are also some ancient books on cultivation, both Chinese and foreign. The Iron Shirt brought by Arubelisi from China has inspired the Asgard. The Asgard Quest Hall has been constantly issuing similar quests recently, but with little success. It's really difficult to expect a group of unskilled people to accomplish this.

Therefore, Albelisi established an auction house in the name of the Asgard to purchase various books, medicines, minerals, weapons, etc. After all, it is better to find professionals to do professional things, and then auction off some of the Asgard's unnecessary items and purchased items to maintain the normal operation of the auction house.

After explaining the importance of building an auction house to Hilda, Hilda immediately issued an order to the Asgardian cabinet in the name of the Queen and the Acting Prime Minister, ordering the construction of an auction house in Copenhagen, the Danish capital. This was because Copenhagen was not only Northern Europe's most cosmopolitan city closest to Western European powers, but also Denmark's largest city, largest port, and political, economic, cultural, and transportation center. Furthermore, to enhance the auction house's reputation, Alubelisi decided to invest heavily in building the world's largest and most luxurious auction house. To this end, he spared no expense, secured all necessary connections, and swiftly designed, constructed, and decorated the building, securing approval from every step.

A year later, a brand-new auction house stood majestically beside the National Museum in Copenhagen. Its imposing presence, towering columns supporting a vast dome, resembled a palace of art, radiating solemnity and elegance. Stepping inside, the spacious hall, dazzling lighting, and exquisite decorations all revealed its grandeur. At the auction table, the auctioneer's voice boomed, the seats packed with buyers gathered to witness the unveiling of each precious item. The entire scene was filled with awe-inspiring grandeur. This was the Asgard Auction House.

In order to make the auction house famous, Alubelisi sent out invitations in the name of the Asgard to leaders, politicians and wealthy people from all over the world, and took out some precious antiques from the Asgard for auction. After all, it is a super power that has existed for thousands of years, and it has many valuable historical collections, which attracted many history and cultural relic enthusiasts to participate. In addition, this is the industry of the Asgard after all. After receiving the invitation letter from the Asgard, many political and business elites accepted the invitation.

Auction houses generally operate in two modes: consignment, where the auction house takes a 5% commission on the total auction value, with the seller keeping the rest. The other is simpler: the seller sells the item directly to the auction house, takes the money, and walks away, leaving the auction house to cover its own profits and losses.

To ensure the safety of the auction house, Alberich assigned Sidu, a God Warrior from the Asgard Inquisition, to lead five S-Class God Warriors to temporarily guard the auction house. It was also clarified that three S-Class God Warriors from Asgard would be stationed permanently at the auction house. For large-scale auctions or those involving important items, Asgard would even dispatch God Warriors to the scene.

Furthermore, the Asgard Auction House has intensified its efforts to acquire a wide variety of antiques, medicinal herbs, minerals, and weapons. After purchasing large quantities, they assign specialized personnel to conduct inspections. Items and weapons deemed useless to Asgard are sold directly at the auction without hesitation. However, items with potential use or uncertain value are regularly escorted back to Asgard by S-rank divine warriors. These items are then submitted to an appraisal committee headed by Alberich for further evaluation.

This appraisal committee was actually a special organization established by Alberich for the purpose of treasure hunting. He personally served as its president, imparting his years of experience and tips in treasure appraisal to all members. Then, through extensive cross-examination, members continuously screened for truly valuable treasures. This not only significantly increased the speed of appraisal, but also resulted in the discovery of numerous valuable finds, greatly enriching the heritage of the Asgard. This method effectively prevented the Asgard's warehouse from being filled with only income and no expenditure.

This collection of secret cultivation techniques, both Chinese and foreign, naturally included some useless and self-destructive techniques. This also allowed the Asgardian God Warriors to gain greater benefits, at least providing some training ideas during bottleneck periods. These secret techniques were naturally available in the Asgardian Palace, the Albelisi Manor, and the Quest Hall. Except for S-rank God Warriors and above, who could access them free of charge, the rest could only be redeemed with points, thus attracting more combatants to complete quests. Thus, the Asgardian's strength steadily grew.
