Saint Seiya Evil Skull

Chapter 184: Battle with Odin

Albelis slowly walked to the door of Odin's Temple, looked up at this magnificent and solemn palace of the God King, and felt an indescribable shock in his heart.

He sighed to himself, "It's worthy of being the residence of the Divine King. Even though this Divine King has fallen on hard times, his noble status and profound heritage are still beyond reach."

With awe in his heart, Albelisi took a deep breath and stepped into the temple. However, the moment he stepped into the temple, a strange feeling suddenly came over him - as if a pair of invisible eyes were staring at him closely, making him feel uncomfortable.

"Damn it! I was discovered so quickly." Albelisi couldn't help but curse in his heart.

You have to know that the one in front of you is Odin, the God King who has lived for millions of years. His level of caution is by no means comparable to those ordinary gods who were easily killed by him before.

Now that his whereabouts had been exposed, Arubelisi knew there was no way back. Without hesitation, he flashed towards the center of the hall like lightning.

At this moment, he had only one thought in mind: to launch a surprise attack while Odin was still not fully awake, perhaps there was still a chance of victory. Although this plan sounded quite perfect, the cruel reality often did not develop according to people's expectations.

When Alberisi stepped into the center of the hall, a solemn atmosphere washed over him. He looked up and saw a white-haired, one-eyed old man sitting on the majestic throne, emitting an awe-inspiring aura.

There is no doubt that this person is the ultimate goal of everyone's adventure - the God King Odin.

Odin stared at Albelis silently, his single remaining eye seeming to see through everything, deep and sharp. After a moment, he slowly spoke, "You've finally arrived, God Warrior." His voice was deep and majestic, echoing through the hall like a bell.

Albelis remained silent in response to Odin's words. Adhering to the principle of keeping his words to himself, he instantly raised his gleaming sword—the Sword of Light—and dashed towards Odin like lightning.

He knew very well that the person he was facing this time was the supreme God-King, so he decided to take the initiative and gamble that Odin had not yet fully adjusted to his best condition.

However, Odin is Odin after all. As the king of gods, how could he be easily taken advantage of by his opponent?

He quickly raised his left hand, grasped the spear in his hand that symbolized eternal power, and made a precise blocking move with lightning speed, blocking Albelisi's sharp sword attack.

Then, Odin activated his own vast and boundless cosmic energy without hesitation and continuously gathered it in his right hand.

Instantly, a dazzling ray of light burst out from his right fist, heading straight for Albelisi. Fortunately, Albelisi reacted quickly and dodged the fatal blow with a single movement.

This fierce battle was a close match, with both sides displaying extraordinary strength and combat skills, making it difficult to determine the winner. The atmosphere in the hall was so tense that even the air seemed to freeze.

However, it was this confrontation that allowed Alberich to successfully discover Odin's true strength. Fortunately, Odin was still seriously injured and hadn't fully recovered. While his true strength was slightly superior to his own, the gap shouldn't be insurmountable.

But at the same time, a piece of bad news hung over his heart like a dark cloud - Odin had fully awakened.

If Albelisi attempted to completely defeat and eliminate him, he would be forced to face off against him in a true, unconditional battle of life and death. As for the ultimate outcome, fate would be the final word.

At this moment, Odin's lips curled up slightly, and he said with a hint of joking, "God Warrior, your behavior is extremely disrespectful! When you faced me, the ruler of Asgard in Northern Europe, not only did you not salute me with respect, but you drew your sword instead. Who gave you such fearless courage?"

Hearing this, Albelisi showed no sign of weakness and immediately retorted, "If I said that this courage came from Fish Leong, would you believe it, Odin?"

Upon hearing this, Odin frowned slightly and asked with confusion, "Liang Jingru? Who is that person?"

Seeing Odin's bewildered expression, Alberich snorted coldly and responded impatiently, "Stop talking nonsense, Odin! Now that things have come to this, what's the point of whether I'm polite or not? The situation we're in right now is a fight to the death. It's either you or me!"

"Hahaha..." Odin sneered, his laughter growing louder and louder, but the chill in his laughter became more and more obvious. He stared at the person in front of him with an icy gaze and said slowly, "Loki and my good son Hodr must have died at your hands!

Don't deny it. With the powerful strength you've shown now, even if the two of them were at their peak, they would probably find it difficult to compete with you. What's more, one of them has long lost his original body and can only possess a mortal body;

The other, however, is gravely wounded and still recovering, possessing only the eighth sense, the Alaya-vijnana, a hair's breadth away from the supreme ninth sense, the Amoral-vijnana. "If they were suddenly attacked by you, they would be powerless to fight back." At this point, Odin's tone grew more resolute.

Facing Odin's question, Alberich remained unconcerned, nonchalantly responding, "What does it matter whether I admit it or not? Regardless, you've already determined that I was responsible. If that's the case, any further explanations will be futile."

Odin remained unmoved by this, but instead continued to offer gentle persuasion, "So, it's undoubtedly you who dared to counter my prophecy some time ago. As a warrior of the gods, are you truly determined to oppose me?"

Why not put aside your prejudices and join hands with me to overthrow the rule of the almighty Zeus and dominate the world? As Odin spoke, his eyes gleamed with enthusiasm, and he was clearly filled with desire for this grand goal.

After all, he also has his own great dream in his heart.

"Odin, Odin, you are the king of gods in Norse mythology, but you can let go of the revenge for killing your son so easily?

You even want me to help you rule the world? Humph, that's just wishful thinking!

Do you really think I'm so foolish as to believe that you won't execute me once you've achieved your goal?" Alberich looked at Odin with disdain, completely unconcerned with his flawed explanation.

Upon hearing this, Odin was instantly enraged. His eyes widened as he roared, "God Warrior, is this the attitude you should have as one of my subjects? I have already magnanimously chosen to let go of my hatred, yet you remain relentless and aggressive. Do you truly believe that I, Odin, have no temper?"

However, facing Odin's rebuke, Albelis showed no sign of backing down. Instead, he sneered and responded, "Shut up, Odin! There's no point in talking any more. Let's see for ourselves. After that sneak attack from Zeus, how much strength do you still have left?"

Today's battle will either be your death or mine. Come on!" Before he finished speaking, Alberich swung his sword and stabbed at Odin again.

Seeing that the conflict was inevitable, Odin no longer hesitated. He stood up suddenly, tightly grasped the Eternal Spear, which symbolized supreme power and strength, with both hands, and rushed forward to meet Albelis' attack.

In an instant, two powerful auras collided with each other, causing gusts of wind to whistle past, and the entire space seemed to tremble.

From this, one can clearly perceive the significant advantages and significance of Albelisi's swordsmanship training since childhood. Just look at his movements as he wields his longsword, his swordplay as swift as lightning, his blade shadows elusive and agile, dazzling and breathtaking.

In comparison, the spearmanship displayed by Odin showed a wide-ranging momentum, and he relied more on his own rich combat experience to resist the opponent's attacks.

However, when faced with Albelis's superb and varied swordsmanship, Odin seemed a little overwhelmed and at a loss.
