Saint Seiya Evil Skull

Chapter 164 A new beginning

As the thrilling battle of the underwater temple and the gloomy and terrifying battle in the underworld came to an end, the whole world seemed to be paused, ushering in a hard-won and extremely precious period of peace.

As long as the two remaining top powers in this world - the Nordic Asgard and the Greek Sanctuary - can abide by the law and not actively provoke trouble or stir up disputes, the world will surely maintain peace and tranquility for a long time.

Speaking of the Greek sanctuary, the faction led by the goddess of wisdom, Athena, endured numerous trials and tribulations. First, they faced a rebellion led by Saga within their ranks, then engaged in a life-and-death battle across the vast ocean, and finally, a desperate struggle with the Centaurs in the mysterious underworld. Although Athena's side ultimately emerged victorious in each battle, these victories came at a heavy price.

The twelve fearless Gold Saints who once represented the pinnacle of the Sanctuary's might have all fallen. Even Seiya, the leader of the Five, sacrificed his life while bravely shielding Athena from Hades's fatal blow. Now, only two or three Silver Saints remain in the Sanctuary, while the Bronze Saints are relatively more numerous.

Such a massive loss severely damaged the Sanctuary's vitality, officially entering a period of extreme weakness. At this moment, the Sanctuary was like a wounded beast, silently licking its wounds and striving with all its might to regain its former strength.

Therefore, the Sanctuary currently lacks both the energy and manpower to stir up trouble or expand its territory. All they can do is recuperate and wait for the opportunity to rise again.

On the other hand, when the Sanctuary was busy with the war with the Sea and the Underworld and had no time to care about it, the Nordic Asgard invaded the fruits of victory of the Sanctuary and obtained the dividends that belonged to the Sanctuary. This also made the Nordic Asgard overwhelmed and is in the digestion stage.

As for the leader of Asgard, Alberich, he had no interest in ruling the world. After all, such an ambition was too obvious, easily attracting public resentment and becoming a target of public criticism. Moreover, since ancient times, those who harbored such ambitions usually ended up in a bad way!

Not to mention the distant past, let’s take a recent example. The invincible Poseidon is still sealed in the Athena’s jar and cannot escape; and the even more powerful Hades, the god of the underworld, ended up with a tragic end of death and destruction.

In the TV and movie adaptations of the original novel, Athena leads the valiant Saints to defeat numerous powerful gods and reign supreme in the name of love and freedom. However, that title is in name only. Firstly, she lacks actual control over the vast world, and secondly, Zeus, the supreme god, reigns supreme above her!

For this reason, Albelis, as wise as he is, has chosen to devote the majority of his time and energy to improving his own strength and carefully nurturing the next generation. He knows that only by being strong enough can he remain invincible in this turbulent and unpredictable world; at the same time, only by cultivating outstanding successors can he ensure the continued prosperity of the Nordic Asgard.

So, every morning, when the first ray of sunlight falls on the land of the fairy palace, one can see Albelisi practicing diligently; and in his spare time, he will patiently teach the younger generation, imparting them unique skills and ways of dealing with the world.

In fact, when "Saint Seiya: Hades" reached its final chapter, the series had already come to an end. The other subsequent theatrical versions have added new chapters to this story world. However, it is important to note that the timelines set in these theatrical versions are significantly different from the main storyline.

You must know that within the entire cosmic system, the Olympian protoss holds supreme status, with the most powerful among them being the Twelve Great Gods. Even though Poseidon, the god of the sea, has been sealed, Hades, the god of the underworld, has been utterly slain, and our fearless goddess Athena is recuperating and healing in her sanctuary, this does not mean the crisis is over.

Because in addition to the three great gods mentioned above, the Olympian Protoss also has nine other powerful main gods standing in the world. Moreover, above these nine main gods, there is the mighty and invincible God King Zeus.

Not only that, there are a large number of other gods below the twelve main gods, and their power should not be underestimated.

Time flies, and five years have flown by like a fleeting moment. During this seemingly long, yet fleeting, period, the world has finally ushered in a long-awaited era of peace. People are basking in the sunshine of peace and tranquility, and all industries are steadily and orderly moving forward and flourishing.

Located in the mysterious land of Asgard in Northern Europe, this place is known to the world as "Asgard." At this moment, in the Asgard's spacious and flat square, a group of innocent children are absorbed in their training. These children range in age, from adorable toddlers of three or four to slightly immature teenagers of eleven or twelve. The oldest is no more than eleven or twelve, while the youngest is only three or four.

Among the children stood a tall, imposing young man of seventeen or eighteen. He observed each child's movements with a focused gaze, demonstrating personally from time to time and patiently and meticulously correcting any errors they made during their practice. This young man was none other than the protagonist of our story—Arubelisi.

Time seemed to have been especially kind to him, leaving no trace on his handsome face. He remained as vibrant and energetic as he had been five years ago. His signature silver-white hair shone dazzlingly in the bright sunlight, making him look even more majestic and solemn.

The group of children before him, who were carefully taught by Albelisi, were his ten children in this life.

For the past five years, Albelisi hadn't slacked off. He not only focused on his own cultivation, but also poured immense effort into the upbringing of his children. He knew that if he wanted his children to achieve great things in the future, he had to lay a solid foundation for them early on.

To this end, Albelisi offered his full support. He imparted the Songfeng sword technique and Qingshen Gong techniques he had learned from the mysterious and ancient Chinese world to each child without reservation. The Songfeng sword technique was agile and graceful, like a gentle breeze blowing through willows; the Qingshen Gong techniques were light and flexible, allowing one to soar freely like a bird.

However, as for the more dangerous Heart-Stirring Palm and Hidden Weapon Techniques, Alberich only passed them on to the older three, Oscar, Miller, and Heimdall, out of concern that the younger children would not be able to handle the dangers involved.

Although these skills may seem insignificant compared to the extremely powerful microcosm, they play an important role in the early basic training of children.

At least, when they were given a peerless divine sword, they already knew how to use it and how to unleash its maximum power.

Furthermore, these diverse martial arts techniques add a touch of color to the otherwise dull life of training. After completing a day's arduous training, the children gather together to exchange new techniques and skills. Laughter and joy echo through the courtyard, as if all fatigue has vanished.

Alberisi also spent two full years painstakingly simplifying the profound and obscure Xuanwu Sutra. Upon completion, he not only passed this secret manual on to four women, including Hilda and Freya, but also generously allowed his children, including Oscar, Miller, and Heimdall, to practice it from a young age.

Even if it's just a simplified version of the Xuanwu Sutra, its magical effects cannot be underestimated. It has the ability to prolong life, and amazingly, as the practitioner's realm continues to rise, their lifespan will also be significantly extended.

Hilda, Freya, and the other four women showed little interest in other martial arts and skills, but this simplified version of the Xuanwu Sutra captivated them and drew them in with deep concentration. Hilda, the oldest of the four, had already crossed the threshold of thirty and was the mother of three. Time was merciless, and she knew the fleeting nature of youth. To maintain her beautiful face and graceful figure, she had to devote herself to her training with even greater dedication than the average person...
