Saint Seiya Evil Skull

Chapter 119: The Great God Clan

The Æsir are one of the two major tribes of gods in Norse mythology and the most important tribe of gods. They represent the deified existence of the world order and are composed of many gods with different characteristics.

The Aesir are led by Odin, the king of the gods. Others include: Frigga, the queen of heaven, Thor, the god of thunder, Loki, the god of fire, Tyr, the god of war, Heimdall, the guardian god, Balder, the god of light, Hodr, the god of darkness, Ullr, the god of hunting, Mimir, the wise giant, and others.

It is no exaggeration to say that in those early days, the Aesir were undoubtedly a formidable and powerful force. Their reputation spread far and wide, and their brilliant achievements were unmatched by other races.

However, fate is full of uncertainties and dramatic twists. At some point, an irreconcilable and deep-seated conflict arose between the Aesir and another equally renowned Norse race, the Vanir. This rift gradually widened, ultimately triggering one thrilling and fierce war after another.

In that war-torn era, every battle was a life-or-death struggle, and every drop of blood carried endless hatred and pain. Whether it was the brave and fearless warriors of the Aesir or the supremely wise warriors of the Vanir, all paid a heavy price in this protracted war.

Countless lives were lost, homes destroyed, and glory tarnished. Although both sides ultimately chose to put aside their differences and shake hands in peace after enduring such vicissitudes of life, the pain they once felt will be forever etched in the long river of history.

Today, even the once-powerful Aesir can only confine themselves to the bitterly cold corners of Northern Europe. And with the exception of Loki, who is imprisoned by the Asgardians, Odin and the other gods seem to have vanished from the scene, having long since disappeared from view.

Have they perished? Or are they simply hiding from the world, quietly guarding this land? No one knows for sure.

Albelis had also questioned Loki about this matter, seeking the truth. Unfortunately, the cunning Loki remained silent, refusing to reveal even a single glimpse into the Æsir's current situation. Consequently, despite his suspicions, Albelis could only speculate on the Æsir's plight. Judging from the information currently available, it seems they are likely not faring well.

As for the Vanir, who were not as good as the Aesir, they lost a large number of elites in the confrontation. Even if they still existed now, they would probably be just a few big cats and small cats, and would not be a force to be reckoned with.

At this moment, Alberisi was anxiously pondering a key question: How many gods of the once powerful Aesir were left? And how much strength did they have left?

At present, all Alberisi knows for sure is that the king of gods Odin and the god of fire Loki are still alive, but other than that, the situation of other gods is as if shrouded in fog, making it difficult to understand.

After careful consideration, Albelisi realized that among all the gods, Loki was the only clue he could find about the true situation of the two major gods, and the key breakthrough to solve the current mystery.

So, after he had properly dealt with the complicated affairs between the Sanctuary and the God of Death, Thanatos, he set out without hesitation once again for the place where Loki was imprisoned - the Ice Prison. This prison, located under the iceberg, was freezing cold and eerie.

When Aluberisi finally arrived at the Ice Prison, he saw the familiar figure lazily lying on the bed, legs raised high, looking nonchalant. Andreas Riese glanced at Aluberisi at the door, his lips curled up slightly, and he said with a hint of sarcasm, "Hey, Aluberisi, why are you here again? Are you here to bother me with a bunch of questions again?"

Albelisi looked straight ahead with a firm gaze and said without hesitation: "I want to know what the current situation of the Aesir and the Vanir is." His serious and anxious tone was like a thunderclap, instantly breaking the originally calm atmosphere.

The man sitting across from him was stunned upon hearing this. His eyes widened, his mouth wide enough to fit an egg. After a long moment, he finally recovered and stammered, "Wha... what? You dared to set your sights on these two great clans of gods? Are you crazy? Don't you know what this means? You're simply throwing your life away!"

Although he had been mentally prepared, when he actually heard what Aluberici said, Andreas Riise was still frightened and trembled all over. He almost jumped out of the bed and no longer felt relaxed and comfortable as before.

Andreas Risser sat up in a hurry, with cold sweat dripping down his forehead. He pointed at Arubelici with a trembling finger and shouted angrily: "How can you be so bold? With your little ability, you dare to provoke the two high and mighty gods? Be careful not to lose your life. Don't blame me for not reminding you then!" After speaking, he gasped for breath, obviously he had not fully recovered from the shock just now.

"You just need to tell me the current situation of the two tribes, and you don't have to worry about the rest. If one day I am destroyed by the two major tribes of gods, you will be relieved, right?" Aluberisi was ready to paint a rosy picture for Andreas Riese.

"Boy, you really like to walk in death. Before, you were thinking about targeting gods and thinking about how to become a god. This time it's even more outrageous. You are simply planning to target the two major tribes of gods?" Andreas Riese said loudly. He didn't believe Aluberisi's empty promises and really thought that he had wasted all these years.

"So are you going to tell me or not?" Albelisi asked directly.

Andreas Reese said coldly: "You imprisoned me like a dog and wanted me to betray the Aesir. Don't you think it's ridiculous?"

"Everything has conditions. You can tell me and see if I can accept them." Alubelisi directly asked the other party to state the conditions.

Andreas Riese thought for a moment and said, "If you just let me go, I'll consider telling you what I know."

"This is impossible, Andreas Riise, you should think about it again and try something more realistic." Of course, Aluberici would never let his mortal enemy go. Isn't that like letting a tiger return to the mountain?

"Then give me a quick death! I can tell you everything I know about the Vanir, but as for the Aesir, don't even think about it." Andreas Riese put forward the conditions again.

This time, it was Albelisi's turn to fall into deep thought, weighing the pros and cons.

In reality, Andreas Riese's value to them was gradually diminishing. His precious blood had previously been used primarily to improve the quality of the battle suit, hoping to complete its evolution into a divine battle suit. Over the years, Asgard had extracted a staggering amount of Andreas Riese's blood.

Although Asgard provided him with a large amount of blood-replenishing medicines and nutritious food, after Fafnir's meticulous examination, he was surprised to find that the effect of Andreas Reese's blood was becoming weaker and weaker.

Andreas Riise is now haggard and emaciated, and his physical condition is extremely poor. Without several years of careful care and recovery, it is difficult to predict how long he can last.

Before this, Fafnir had already solemnly proposed to temporarily stop the extraction of Andreas Riise's blood, because the benefits of continuing to do so were minimal.

After much deliberation, Albelici finally agreed to Andreas Riise's request.

When Andreas Riese saw Aluberisi's agreement, his eyes lit up. Could he finally be free? "The Vanir fought a great war with us, the Aesir, in ancient times. Both sides suffered heavy casualties. Although we later reconciled, we, the Aesir, have always been looking for opportunities to weaken the Vanir. After years of depletion, the Vanir have become increasingly weaker.

Until one day, Njord, the leader of the Vanir, discovered this situation and used a trick to lure our Aesir into launching a sneak attack. Although the Vanir had the advantage of geographical location and set up a large number of traps, everything was vain in front of the powerful strength of the Aesir. After so many years of consumption, the gap between the two sides was too big. Perhaps Njord also knew that he could not beat our Aesir, but he still reluctantly provoked this war.

The final result was that my Aesir suffered heavy losses again, and the Vanir were almost wiped out. In the end, only a remnant of Njord escaped. I don’t know whether it still exists now. Anyway, Odin ordered the Vanir’s lair, Vanaheim, to be turned upside down.

Vanaheim is now incomplete, but I can tell you its location." Andreas Riese spit out another string of coordinates. As for whether there are any problems with the coordinates, it is up to Albelici to consider.
