"God of Gamblers" is the sequel to the movies "God of Gamblers" and "The Saint of Gamblers". Although it is named "God of Gamblers", the protagonist should be Chen Xiaodao played by Andy Lau, but the audience has a special liking for the Saint of Gamblers, and Chen Xiaodao has become a supporting role.

The film's story is simple, but the dazzling gambling techniques and unexpected supernatural powers captivated audiences. With a box office of HK$4100 million, it broke Hong Kong's box office record at the time, ranking second in the year behind the prequel to God of Gamblers, The Saint of Gamblers. God of Gamblers was also voted the "Most Memorable Hong Kong Film" at the Hong Kong Golden Film Awards.

The plot is relatively simple. Chen Xiaodao, accompanied by Long Wu, re-enters the underworld, dedicating his gambling skills to charity on behalf of his master, earning him the nickname "The Gambler." Meanwhile, the Gambler King, Ah Sing, desires to become his apprentice and seeks Daozi's introduction. The two heroes meet, each showcasing their strategies and skills, each equally matched. Meanwhile, Chen Jincheng's adopted son, Hussein, avenges his adoptive father and schemes to fleece the wealthy of Southeast Asia and bring ruin upon the God of Gamblers. Hussein and his gang kidnap Long Wu, Long Jiu, and Ah Shu, preventing Daozi from revealing their true identities. At the last moment, Daozi and Ah Sing work together, one using the God of Gamblers' unique skills and the other utilizing their special abilities. They ultimately win the massive stake in record time and defeat Hussein with a clever trick. Ah Sing finally gets his wish to meet the God of Gamblers.

Liu Yi knew exactly what was going to happen next, but he absolutely couldn't tell Qi Ge and the others. So, when they asked, Liu Yi suggested going to Chen Xiaodao's mountaintop mansion first. So, Ah Hao and Xiao Mao accompanied Liu Yi to the mountaintop mansion. However, when they arrived at their destination, they were surprised to find that it had been cordoned off by the police.

Using his connections to Rong Ri at the police station, Ah Hao found out that a fierce gunfight had broken out there. However, by the time the police arrived, both sides had vanished without a trace. The hilltop mansion was now temporarily sealed off by police, prohibiting anyone from entering.

Since they couldn't get any more clues from here, Liu Yi decided to take Ah Hao away. After all, there was no point in staying here any longer. They needed to find other ways to get to the truth.

Just when Xia Mao was about to drive back, Liu Yi suddenly said that he wanted to go down the mountain to take a look. When they arrived at the house at the foot of the mountain, they saw a foreigner loudly scolding Xingzai and another person who looked very much like Huadi. At this time, Liu Yi quickly got out of the car and stopped the foreigner who was about to leave, "I just heard what you said, and I admire your indomitable fighting spirit. I think you should be bankrupt now. It won't be of any use for you to go back alone now. So, I will lend you some money first. You can do better after you go back, right? Wait for me first, I will go and talk to the two of them first." Liu Yi said to the foreigner. Then Liu Yi walked in front of Xingzai, "You are Xingzai, get up and follow me, you come too." After that, regardless of the two people's reaction, he pulled the foreigner into the car. Xingzai and Daozai were still in a daze, not knowing what this person meant by suddenly coming over and suddenly asking them to follow.

Fortunately, Ah Hao had met Xingzai before, so he came over and pulled Xingzai and Daozai into the car. "Take them to Qi Ge's house first. I'm going to run some things. We'll talk when I come back." Liu Yi said this, leaving the confused Xingzai and Daozai behind and drove away in another car. Although Ah Hao didn't know what Hua Di was going to do, they had already formed a tacit understanding after their interactions over this period of time. He took Xingzai and Daozai to Qi Ge's house, let the two wet rats take a shower and change clothes, and waited for Hua Di to return.

Liu Yi first took the foreigner to Guo Yingnan's place. Liu Yi asked him to wait in the car, and no matter how confused the foreigner was, he went to Guo Yingnan's study. "Uncle Nan, I want to lend you 10 million first." Liu Yi said to Guo Yingnan directly. "No problem, cash or check?" Guo Yingnan replied. "I'm talking about A Yuan." Liu Yi said. "Does it make any difference to me?" Guo Yingnan knew Hua Di well, and no matter what he wanted so much money for, as long as Hua Di asked, he would definitely support it. Liu Yi didn't bother to be polite with Guo Yingnan, and left with the check.

"I'm lending you these 10 million. Just pay me back later. Besides, it's too dangerous for you to go back to Kosovo alone. Let me find some helpers for you." After Liu Yi finished speaking, he drove away from Guo Yingnan's mansion without caring what the foreigner thought or how he responded. Liu Yi found a phone booth on the side of the road, and after making the call, he took the foreigner directly to the airport. The Kosovo man was in a state of confusion along the way. What was going on? Suddenly, someone gave him 10 million US dollars, and asked him to find helpers. Was this a revelation from God? Liu Yi didn't care what he thought, and just drove to the airport.

In the airport parking lot, a car was waiting for Liu Yi and his companions. Liu Yi got out first. He didn't let the Koran get out, but instead walked over to the car across the street and chatted for a while before returning to his own car with the two men. "These two will accompany you to Camel Country. Once there, a 2,000-man mercenary force will help you fight back to Koran, but you'll have to pay for the mercenaries. Well, I hope you can successfully restore your country, and I wish you a safe journey." Liu Yi said, and let the Koran leave.

The Koran was completely dazed until he got on the plane, and only remembered to ask the man's name after takeoff. Why didn't the Chinese man even ask my name? Was he so reassured? After all, it was 10 million gold coins. Wasn't he worried that he wouldn't pay it back? But after looking at the two men next to him who looked like black sunglasses, he accepted that the Chinese man was a good person and that God had come to save him.

Why did Liu Yi want to help this person? It was simple: for the country. This Ko citizen could own a mountaintop villa in Hong Kong. Although the movie didn't show much of this, given the situation in Ko, this person must be a member of the royal family. Now that Shadamu has sent troops to occupy Ko, he has gone bankrupt and is living in a shabby house at the foot of the mountain. However, once Shadamu is driven away, this royal family member will surely rise again. Liu Yi's investment was not much, only 10 million yuan, and it was Guo Yingnan who put up the money. He simply contacted the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, and the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office sent two agents to protect the Ko citizen back home.

It was late 148. Liu Yi knew that within a month, America would send troops to intervene in the war against the Shadam Army. Through this desert war, America had declared itself the world's most powerful military. Through a series of modern warfare, America had defeated the Shadam Army of 138 million at a minimal cost, including numerous aircraft and tanks. The Afghan army suffered only 4508 deaths (2978 non-combat deaths) and wounded ( non-combat injuries). This war shocked most of the world, who finally understood the reality of modern warfare, and many countries embarked on military reforms. As China and America belonged to two different camps, they did not even have the opportunity to send an observation group. They could only learn from video materials that they had to pay a great price to obtain through some channels. Even so, this still shocked the domestic military leaders and started the road of military reform. It can be said that this war contributed greatly to the rise of China. If there had been no war, some senior Chinese officials might not have understood what modern warfare was and might still be stuck in the mindset of fighting with bayonets. It was the stimulation of this war that made the senior Chinese officials determined to increase their investment in domestic modern scientific and technological research and development.

Now Liu Yi has given them an opportunity to intervene in the war in advance, which will allow them to obtain more war information and gain more gratitude from Kosovo. Kosovo is a major oil exporting country, while China is a major oil importing country.
