If you want to be a good person, find Huadi

Chapter 331: Punishment of Justice 3

After listening to JOJO's story, Huadi felt extremely heavy-hearted. He lay quietly on the hospital bed, as if he had lost the ability to speak. Although the Japanese attack did not cause a greater disaster to Hong Kong, it was entirely because those righteous men, regardless of their personal safety, fought the enemy at the risk of their lives and successfully protected the city.

Huadi couldn't help but recall the brutal invasion of China by the Japanese invaders decades ago, during which the Chinese people suffered endless suffering and torture. However, for various reasons, the Chinese people did not retaliate against the Japanese invaders. But now, Huadi could no longer tolerate this and decided to make the Japanese invaders pay for their actions.

Huadi lay in bed, eyes closed, his mind reeling from the heroic and fearless figures of the righteous men. He pondered how to teach the Japanese devils a lesson, to let them know that the Chinese were not to be trifled with.

Jojo sat quietly by the side, silently accompanying Huadi. Although she didn't quite understand the deep friendship between men, she could truly feel Huadi's inner pain and sorrow. She knew that the sacrifices of those heroes had brought peace to Hong Kong, which was a precious price.

"Knock, knock, knock." A series of light and rhythmic knocks on the door suddenly sounded, which seemed particularly abrupt in the quiet ward. JOJO's heart tightened. She slowly stood up from the bed, hesitated for a moment, and decided to open the door.

The door opened, and JOJO's eyes first fell on the familiar face of Director Wang, but then her sight was attracted by a figure behind Director Wang - it was an old man, thin but energetic, with sharp and deep eyes, as if he could see through everything.

JOJO was completely unfamiliar with this old man. She looked at Director Wang with doubt, hoping that he could introduce this uninvited guest. However, Director Wang just smiled and nodded without saying anything.

JOJO suddenly understood something. She realized that the old man's identity must be extraordinary, and Director Wang didn't seem to want her to know too much about the inside story. So, she wisely decided to take the initiative to avoid him and not cause trouble for him.

"Director Wang, I just want to ask Huadi's doctor about something. I'll be out for a while." JOJO said with a smile, then nodded politely to Director Wang and the old man, turned and walked out of the ward.

As JoJo gently closed the door, she noticed that the mercenaries led by Duan Long and Twelve Young Master's minions, who had been guarding the corridor, had disappeared. Instead, a group of young men in Mao suits stood neatly on both sides of the corridor, their expressions serious and exuding a sense of majesty.

JOJO became more certain of her guess. She knew that the old man must have something important to discuss with Huadi, and these young men should be his followers or bodyguards.

"Just lie down." Director Wang saw Huadi trying to sit up and quickly dissuaded him. He quickly walked to the bedside and gently pressed Huadi's shoulders, signaling him not to move.

Huadi was a little confused at first, but when he saw Director Wang so nervous, he no longer insisted and lay back on the bed obediently.

Director Wang introduced Huadi, "This is Director Liu from the 571st Institute. Director Liu will explain the following matters to you in detail."

Huadi nodded, his eyes fell on Director Liu, waiting for him to speak.

Director Liu walked over to Huadi's bedside, first looked him over carefully, then said solemnly, "Hello, Mr. Liu, I'm Liu Kangzhan from the 571st Institute. Our institute is mainly responsible for research on geological and meteorological disasters."

Huadi's heart moved, and he realized that this 571 institute might not be as simple as it seemed.

Director Liu continued, "This time, you, Xiangjiang, have performed exceptionally well in the face of tremendous pressure, successfully withstanding it for the country. On behalf of my colleagues, I express my sincerest respect for you."

After saying that, Director Liu stood up straight and saluted Hua Di with a standard military salute.

Huadi could feel the sincerity and respect in Director Liu's words, but he also understood that the following conversation might involve some confidential content.
