Mr. Gu's wife is a little naughty
Chapter 79: Looking for trouble again
The recent days seem to be very turbulent, and the atmosphere in the president's office seems very depressing.
Tian Tian carefully waited on the eccentric and gossipy Mr. Gu, but secretly felt relieved. Mr. Gu seemed to be preoccupied with something lately and had no time for other things, so his "care" for Tian Tian naturally decreased a lot.
At this moment, Tian Tian was leaning leisurely against the wall of the tea room, watching the people and cars coming and going on the street below, enjoying this rare tranquility.
However, this tranquility was gently broken by the gentle call of a woman claiming to be from the Human Resources Department. Her voice was formal and unyielding: "Tian Tian, please go to the Human Resources Department. There are some things that need your personal confirmation."
Tian Tian was a little confused, but without giving it too much thought, she went to the Human Resources Department alone. However, when she passed by the CEO's office, she saw Fan Fan's unfriendly look.
Although Fan Fan hadn't caused her much trouble recently, she had been looking at her with an unfriendly look, intentionally or unintentionally. Tian Tian didn't understand whether she had dug up her family's ancestral grave, which made her so hostile to her.
She was used to Fan Fan's unfriendly attitude. As long as she didn't take the initiative to provoke her, Tian Tian was too lazy to make too much of a fuss.
The moment I stepped into the HR department, the air was filled with a unique sense of rigor and order. A middle-aged woman sat at her desk, her gaze focused and slightly stern behind her thick glasses. Without even looking up, she spoke in an undeniable tone, "Are you Tian Tian, the company's new assistant to the president?"
Tian Tian simply nodded, then looked around the office with some curiosity.
The middle-aged woman seemed very dissatisfied with Tian Tian's answer. She finally raised her head, adjusted her glasses on the bridge of her nose, and stared at her with fierce eyes and an unhappy expression.
"What do you mean? Is it yes or no?"
Tian Tian was slightly startled by this sudden question, and then a strange emotion surged in her heart. She looked back with a polite yet slightly sharp gaze, a faint smile on her lips, and whispered softly, "Yes, I am Tian Tian, the president's personal assistant. What can I do for you, Auntie?"
Tian Tian wore a smile, but her words betrayed a subtle indifference, a natural barrier against the discordant notes around her. Her attitude seemed to be naturally tinged with a certain unapproachability, especially when faced with voices that didn't resonate with her. She seemed reluctant to show her patience.
"You are so arrogant!" The woman suddenly slammed her palm on the table with such force that the air shook. Her voice was filled with majesty and challenge that could not be ignored.
Tian Tian was amused by this sudden action, a faint smile on her lips, her eyes flickering with a hint of amusement and confusion. She tilted her head slightly, examining the other person with an almost playful attitude, "Auntie, you are going through menopause, right? How have I offended you?"
"How dare you!" The middle-aged woman raised her voice again and pointed at her nose, "Don't you know what you've done?"
Tian Tian frowned slightly and seemingly casually picked her ears, as if silently protesting against the middle-aged woman's loud voice that was shaking her eardrums.
"What did I do? I was just late a few times. Why are you so angry and yelling at me?" Tian Tian shrugged lightly with a nonchalant smile on her lips.
"I guess you won't cry until you see the coffin, right?" The woman's face became even gloomier when she heard that, like the calm before the storm. She snorted coldly and waved her arm. A heavy piece of information fell accurately into Tian Tian's arms, causing a loud gust of wind.
Tian Tian was caught off guard by this sudden action. She hurriedly steadied herself, her eyes quickly switching between the other person's indignant face and the documents in his hand.
That was the resume she submitted when she started working. Tian Tian read it carefully several times, and only after confirming that there were no problems did she finally look at the middle-aged woman.
"Isn't this my resume? Any questions?"
"Is there a problem?" The middle-aged woman smiled coldly, "It's a big problem!"
The woman snatched the information away, pointed at the marital status column, and demanded loudly, "You listed single when you applied, but we've found out you're already married. You deliberately concealed your marital history to infiltrate our group. Tell me, what are you planning?"
Hearing this, Tian Tian curled up a bitter smile at the corner of her mouth. She was about to open her lips to explain, but unexpectedly, the door opened slightly, and a cool breeze came quietly with another woman's voice. There was a bit of teasing and disdain in that voice, like a strange wind suddenly appearing in the night sky.
"What else could you possibly be thinking about?"
Upon hearing this, Tian Tian's face immediately showed an expression of disdain and disgust. She knew who it was from the voice. It was Fan Fan from the President's Office.
"Manager Li, you have to carefully investigate our Assistant Tian. She's not as simple as she appears to be."
As Fan Fan spoke, she leisurely entered the room, her steps carrying a hint of unspoken provocation. As she reached Tian Tian, she deliberately side-stepped her shoulder and gently nudged her. The subtle movement was enough to send the unsuspecting Tian reeling and nearly stumbling. Tian Tian's heart trembled, and she quickly adjusted her balance, managing to steady her steps. While her face didn't show much emotion, a chill crept into her eyes.
"What do you want to do?" Tian Tian's eyes revealed dissatisfaction and coldness, and she stared coldly at Fan Fan.
"What do I want to do? Haha~" Fan curled his lips into a cold smile, and there was a subtle edge hidden in that smile. "Shouldn't I be the one asking you this, Miss Tian?"
He deliberately emphasized the words "Miss Tian" with a double entendre. This was not just for Tian Tian to hear, but more like a deliberate reminder to the woman opposite, who was called "Manager Li".
